Shocking moment armed police point MACHINE GUNS at children in pajamas as they are led from a house, forced to the ground and handcuffed after an incorrect tip off about a man with a firearm
Armed police were filmed raiding a home and leading
out children at gunpoint before laying them on the road in handcuffs. Footage
shows officers, responding to reports of a man with a gun, swooping on the
property on Pretoria Road in Handsworth, Birmingham, at around midday.
Policemen, supported by dogs, lead the youngsters outside, with witnesses
claiming one was aged around 12. The children were lined up on the road covered
by officers with machine guns, forced to lie down and handcuffed. (Pictured) A
man said he was driving along the busy road when police stopped traffic after
the raid. 'I was stuck for about 45 minutes so I just got out and started
filming,' he said. 'The police led the kids out one by one. The youngest only
looked about 11 or 12 and the oldest about 19. Some were still in their night
clothes and some didn't have any shoes or slippers on.' The bystander, who said
his name was Mohammed, claimed: 'There were loads of people watching this and
many were filming. The police were still there after I left and so were the
people - two were in one van and two in another. It was also alleged that
police detained a woman nearby.'
