Malaysia Hari Ini : Short and Sweet! - From http://steadyaku-steadyaku-husseinhamid.blogspot.my

NO RACISM INTENDED. JUST SOME EVENTS WHICH HAVE HAPPENED BUT PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE ALL OF THEM DUE TO SOME BAD EGGS IN THE BASKET. POLITICAL-WISE, IT IS TRUE IN BOLEHLAND.

2) GET BANGLA WORKERS, MALAY GIRLS GO MISSING.
3) GET INDON WORKERS, MONEY GO MISSING
4) GET INDIAN WORKERS, JEWELLERY GO MISSING.
5) GET CHINESE WORKERS, HUSBANDS GO MISSING.

NOW THERE ARE NEW SAYINGS:
1) CALL POLICE, EVIDENCE GOES MISSING OR SUSPECT DIED UNDER
DETENTION.
2) CALL JUDGES, PROSECUTORS GO MISSING
3) CALL MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS, REPORTS GO MISSING
4) THINKING TO CHANGE THE GOVERNMENT, MORE FUNDS GO MISSING
5) SAY SOMETHING, YOU MAY GO MISSING - C4, CEMENT TONG, HIRED KILLERS OR JAILED FOR BEING WHISTLE-BLOWERS

DOWN DOWN & DOWN: BUYERS TO DICTATE PRICES OF MALAYSIAN PROPERTIES IN 2017 – RESEARCH FIRM

My Comments - Fat chance that the buyer is going to invest in property other that the house they are going to live in. The property investments all are done overseas. Malaysia as a property investment place for Malaysians is long dead

KUALA LUMPUR – The local property market, which saw a decrease in sales last year, will continue to be subdued this year, the research arm of property consulting firm Rahim & Co said today.

“The property market is expected to remain subdued for a period of 12 to 18 months,” the firm told a news conference here on in its summary of findings on the Property Market Review for 2016 and 2017.

The firm added that it will be a buyers’ market as there will be a period of adjustment and price consolidation to close the gap between prices demanded by sellers and those looking to buy.

“Affordable housing will continue to be popular this year where the people are facing rising cost of living especially for young families,” it said.

But the firm also expressed concern that there may be an oversupply in the commercial sector.

While residential transactions across the country had decreased, retail space had continued growing in most of the states, according to the review.

About six million square feet of new mall space is expected to come up in the next couple of years.

“Absorption of new supply coming into the market is expected to slow down and capital values as well as rental rates are to remain competitive,” it said.

Retail sector is also expected to face “tougher times” due to declining consumer sentiments, the firm said.

PLEASE CALL FOR EMERGENCY CABINET MEETING NOW - COUNTRY GRINDING TO A HALT. ABOLISH THE GST

1. SUPERMARKETS CLOSING DOWN.

This list of supermarkets / hypermarkets closing down has become viral.

The following supermarkets will be closing down:

1. AEON Big Kota Damansara closing on 28th February 2017
2. AEON Big River City on 28th February 2017
3. AEON Big Bangsar South on 15th March 2017
4. Tesco Scott Garden on 28 Feb 2017
5. Giant Superstore Viva home on 2 Mac 2017
6. Giant Bintang Sg Way on 28 Feb 2017

I just received confirmation from someone in this business that this list is correct. Here is more information :

"Yes all closing very true. Business is bad. ..Giant already closed SIX outlets last year. Rumour is Giant is closing another SIX outlets this year."

Hello media people, call Aeon, Tesco and Giant and check with them lah. If Giant is closing SIX more outlets this year, that is about 1000 workers being laid off.

The economy is shutting down. Especially at the street level. The people are suffering. Businesses are suffering. They are closing, people are becoming unemployed.

2. STUDENTS ALLOWANCES CUT 35%.

CK sent me this. Thank you

Recently, sad news from student from Institute Pendidikan Guru (IPG).

They just received long delayed allowance for Jan and Feb 2017.

amount received very much reduced..... cut of 35%

IPG student in KL given RM700

amount hardly enough if staying outside campus

Worse now.... only RM400++ how could they survive?

odd job... part time job...some may fall into vice...

My comments : In Kuala Lumpur, a 3 room apartment in the Kerinchi area rents for about RM1800. One room rents for RM600. Even if two students share one tiny room, that is RM300 for room rental alone. One breakfast costs minimum RM3.00. Lunch costs nothing less than RM5.00 (nasi putih with one lauk). Dinner will cost the same. Maggie Mee is about RM1 per packet. Can they eat Maggie Mee seven days a week?

3 HOSPITALS FACE SEVERE BUDGET CUTS.

Someone else sent me this. Thank you.

"Encik Syed. Kawan saya HIV patient tak dapat blood test result last month sebab Hospital Sungai Buloh budget takde untuk buat blood test. Dia sepatutnye dapat result last month, ubat pun tak cukup stok. Kalau sebelum ni boleh dapat sebulan sekotak sekarang cuma dapat separuh je dalam packet plastik."

This is getting to be real serious.
People will die. If they cannot diagnose the cancer in three months, it could be too late to save the patient.

4 SCHOOL BUILDING FACING COLLAPSE.

This is from the Malay Mail. Someone sent it to me. Thank you.

Sender's comments : "Kpd pengetua kat Pekan ni, rasa kecewa pun tak guna. Kerajaan dah nazak, takde duit...terpaksalah jaga sendiri.. Mesin OMR pun tak mampu nak ganti, sekolah dah nak runtuh pun sama juga takde peruntukan nak baiki.

Hanya peruntukan utk PERMATA bertambah dari tahun ke tahun.

Bajet private jet sama jugak, anytime boleh terbang sana sini.

Kesian kat budak2 jadi mangsa kerakusan kerajaan kleptokrasi MOI"

My comments : Most likely a crony contract, using sub standard materials. The building roof is falling apart. The sad thing is this problem has been going on for two years.

The Kementerian is just tai-chi-ing the problem to the JKR and vice versa. They dont have money. So the Kementerian does not want to pay and neither does the JKR want to foot the bill to repair the roof.

Folks, the "No Income Nation" is here. The country is grinding to a halt.

5. Here is some caricature about the Menteri Pendidikan :

"Bajet yang terbaik" ? Kepala hotak hang.

That RM260 Billion Budget was fake.
There is no RM260 Billion.
The gomen has no money.

The situation is worsening now on a daily basis.

For each supermarket that closes, at least 200 workers will lose their jobs.

Delivery lorries, van drivers, lorry drivers, mechanics who service the delivery vans and lorries will all lose their jobs or suffer business slowdowns. They will also become unemployed.

Suppliers who sell goods to all these supermarkets will suffer losses and slow downs. They will also be laying off their staff and workers.

It goes on and on.

ABOLISH THE GST. PLEASE ABOLISH THE GST.

CALL FOR AN EMERGENCY CABINET MEETING AND ABOLISH THE GST.

ABOLISH THE GST, REMOVE ALL DUTIES AND TAXES ON IMPORTED CARS AND VEHICLES AND THE BN WILL WIN THE PRU14. HOW ABOUT THAT?

Counting of Penang Thaipusam donations aired live on FB - Good move as this will boost transprency

My comments in Blue

The Indian espically the Hindu community should be proud of this first as it promotes transparency and also accountability of the money they donated. Hope all the MIC control temples do that also so that there is no hankpanky going on. Never to late to start been honest

From www.freemalaysia.com
Seventy people begin sorting out the money, cheques and jewellery donated by devotees during the religious festival.

GEORGE TOWN: For the first time, the Penang State Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB) is showing the counting of Thaipusam donations live on Facebook.
Since 2009, the counting of money and gifts has been an event open to the public at Komtar.
But today’s event, shown live on PHEB chairman P Ramasamy’s Facebook page, has enabled at least 55,000 people to tune in.

“I hope others such as the Chettiar’s temple and the Batu Caves temple can also be transparent with the donations they have received,” said Ramasamy.
Signed cheques, a few of which had only the amount filled out and the name field left blank, were among the donations added up today.
The donations were collected at the Hilltop Murugan Temple and during the golden chariot procession. The chariot made its debut this year.
Fifty volunteers and 20 PHEB committee members started sorting and counting the currency notes, coins and jewellery deposited into about 40 “oondial” (donation boxes) at 8am, under the watchful eye of private security guards hired for the occasion.
The counting was still in progress at 8pm.
A PHEB spokesperson said the large number of donated coins had to be sent to a large-scale coin counting centre in Prai used by the banks.
A valuer has been appointed to ascertain the value of the gold and other jewellery received.
The board expects a full account of the total donations by Monday or Tuesday.
Attempts to reach the Naatukottai Chettiar Trustees Penang, which runs the Chettiar temple in Jalan Kebun Bunga, to get their Thaipusam accounts, were unsuccessful.

Mahathir vs Najib - I will not support either and nor I will vote DAP/PKR for the politics of conveniences

Why I will not support neither Mahathir or Najib come PRU14 because both only cared for themselves and their kind and not others

Why support the very man who took all from the Non-Malays and gave it to the Malays and did not share. All the others had to fend for themselves and was good because the others became stronger, resilient and did not depend on government handouts. That is why we have thrived without any government assistance

Now want to help and get back what was lost thru government corruption to help Bumis as the Bumis are hurting for lack

1, Scholarships from JPA and other Government agencies to study home and abroad

2. Government / GLC Banks loans for business, buying houses, buy ASB shares and others

3. Create more jobs in Civil service and GLS for the graduates passing out from Government scholarships

4. Government contracts for Bumi contractors

5. Subsidy for rural padi farmers in fertilizers and padi purchase prices

6. No taxes but now lack of money have to pay GST

7. Money for GLCs to continue operating even if not making money

And many other government schemes which was a norm and entitlement under Mahathir's government and no more under Najib's government.

Why help to throw Najib when Najib is doing the Malays a favour by weaning them off from government handouts and making them stronger. Bumis and non-Bumis by supporting Mahathir and will be severely punished by the Chinese and Indian voters come PRU14.

This is my personal opinion I am going to abstain voting in PRU14 as I cannot take it upon myself to vote a party like DAP and PKR who have forgotten its struggle to be an effective opposition for check and balances. Now with taste of power in Penang and Selangor, can only think of the richest in terms of positions, power and the gravy trail

DAP and PKR are doing no favours to the Non-Malays and think only for them. Look at Hannah Yeoh since she was elected Subang Jaya State assembly person, USJ have suffered in terms of services from, rubbish collection, mushrooming of gated communities, tarring of local roads where some places are tarred others are not, Illegal double parking all over Subang Jaya with no or little enforcement from MPSJ, unlicensed food stalls with food handlers with no medical certification i.e. vaccinations to handle food. USJ is no more the neighborhood which it was and now no better than other chaotic neighborhoods which is very common in Selangor now, just look at Taipan, SS15 business centers and will understand
