THE MACHIAVELLIAN STENCH OF NAJIB & CO’S DIRTY HAND: VOTE-BUYING AHEAD OF GE14?
THE MACHIAVELLIAN STENCH OF NAJIB & CO’S DIRTY HAND: VOTE-BUYING AHEAD OF GE14?
HAS vote-buying started ahead of the 14th general election (GE14)?
According to a report in China Press today, three individuals who appeared to be middlemen for the Opposition have been seen handing out money at the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) at Pudu Sentral to voters to change their addresses lately.
Voters who accept these so-called middlemen’s proposal to change their home addresses to a certain constituency were given RM30 on the spot.
They were told they would get RM300 more if they vote for a specific party in the next general election.
According to the report, the three “middlemen” – a Chinese, Malay and an Indian – were seen loitering outside the National Registration Department counters to look for targets who include senior citizens and vagrants.
The “middlemen” also offered members of the public RM10 for every voter they could bring to the UTC.
What is puzzling is that the “middlemen” wanted all the voters they approached to change their addresses to a particular house address in Sekinchan, Selangor.
OPPOSITION BEING FRAMED BY BN?
The daily was tipped off to the activities of the “middlemen” by a reader who went to the UTC to renew his MyKad.
Said the unnamed reader: “A 40-something friend of mine who came to the UTC to renew his MyKad was approached by one of the ‘middlemen’ to also change his home address.
“He agreed for RM30 and thought he was ‘doing the middlemen a favour’,” she said, adding that her friend told her the “middleman” would arrange for transport to take him to the polling station in Sekinchan on polling day.
The daily’s reporter who staked out the UTC saw a woman receiving money from one of the “middlemen”.
Asked how she got the money, the woman said she was given RM30 for agreeing to change her home address from Kepong to Sekichan.
She said she would get another RM300 if she votes for the Opposition in GE14.
Asked for his comment, DAP acting president Tan Kok Wai said any insinuation that the Opposition is behind it is ridiculous.
“We’ll never resort to such dirty tactics,” he said.
Both the Kepong parliamentary seat and the Sekinchan state seat are held by DAP.

Vladimir Putin has a
weapon four times more powerful than the US' monster bomb that killed 36 ISIS
militants in Afghanistan.
The Mother Of All Bombs (MOAB), which belongs to the US
Air Force, weighs a staggering 21,600lbs.
But the Russian version - called the Father Of All
Bombs - weighs just 15,560lbs and is packed with the equivalent to 44 tons of
explosive TNT.
This is four times more than the US' model which
obliterates anything in its blast zone, which is twice that of the MOAB.
Scroll down for video
It has been given the nickname the 'mother of all bombs', a play on MOAB
which is an acronym standing for Massive Ordnance Air Burst.
Known officially as a GBU-43B, it unleashed 11 tons of
explosives and vaporised everything within its 300m blast zone.
But Russia has an even more powerful weapon dubbed the
father of all bombs.
Putin's monster explosive is known officially as
the Aviation Thermobaric Bomb of Increased Power and is reportedly four
times bigger than MOAB.
Vladimir Putin has a weapon four times more powerful than the US' monster bomb that killed 36 ISIS militants in Afghanistan.
It has been given the nickname the 'mother of all bombs', a play on MOAB which is an acronym standing for Massive Ordnance Air Burst.
It carries 44 tons of TNT and explodes in the same way as
its American counterpart, obliterating anything within the blast zone,
collapsing buildings and producing huge blasts and aftershocks.
Although - like the MOAB - it is not nuclear, the
aftermath of the bomb could be comparable to a nuke being deployed.
It was test-fired by the Russians in 2007 where the
temperature produced by the blast was also twice as high than that in the MOAB.
Previously, the US bomb's blast zone had been predicted as 150m, but it left a
300m crater in the in Achin district of Nangarhar province when it was dropped
at 7.32pm local time Thursday on a tunnel complex, killing 36 ISIS
militants.
The Russian FOAB's blast zone has been predicted as twice
that of the US bomb and even though it is smaller in size, because of the
temperature it explodes at and the fact there are four times more explosives
crammed inside, it is much more powerful.
Although the figures relating to the FOAB have been widely
circulated by the Russians, there are no public pictures of it, which has led
US defense analysts to question the claims of its power and size.
However, if true, the device would be the most powerful
non-nuclear weapon in the world.
It was successfully field-tested in the late evening of
September 11, 2007, and the new weapon was aimed to replace several smaller
types of nuclear bombs in its arsenal.
How is smaller Russian weapon so much more powerful than the
US'?
The thermobaric device yields the equivalent of 44 tons of
TNT using about seven tons of a new type of high explosive.
Because of this, the bomb's blast and pressure wave have a
similar effect to a small tactical nuclear weapon, although on a smaller scale.
The bomb works by detonating in mid-air.
Most damage is inflicted by a supersonic shockwave and
extremely high temperatures.
Thermobaric weapons differ from conventional explosive
weapons in that they generate a longer, more sustained blast wave with greater
temperatures.
In doing so, they produce more damage over a larger area
than a conventional weapon of similar mass.
According to General Alexander Rushkin, the Russian deputy
chief of staff, the new bomb is smaller than the MOAB but much deadlier because
the temperature at the centre of the blast is twice as high.
Kim Jong-Un vows to take on Trump with 'merciless' strikes on South Korea and American bases as China warns of imminent war
The world is on the brink of thermo-nuclear war, North Korea has
warned after 'aggressive tweets' by President Donald Trump (pictured, top
right), and US military drills in the Korean peninsula (bottom right). The
secretive state's vice foreign minister Han Song Ryol (inset) accused the US
President of 'making trouble' in his social media posts as tensions rise over
the possibility of another North Korean nuclear weapons test. This week despot
Kim Jong-un was pictured (centre) watching North Korean special operation
forces carrying out drills, and Han accused the US of building up a 'vicious
cycle' of tensions and warned the US against provoking the country militarily.
He said: 'We will go to war if they choose'. A statement from the North Korean
Foreign Ministry's Institute for Disarmament and Peace said in a statement that
following the deployment of an American aircraft carrier last weekend, the US
had 'created a dangerous situation in which a thermo-nuclear war may break out
any moment on the peninsula and posed serious threat to the world peace and
security, to say nothing of those in Northeast Asia.'

FLIP-FLOP NAJIB RETREATS ON GE14 DATE: NOW, POLLS MAY BE HELD NEXT YEAR AS UMNO PLUNGES INTO TURMOIL AFTER HISHAM’S APPOINTMENT OVER ZAHID
KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional is ready for the 14th general election (GE14) even if it is called earlier, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.
Najib, also Barisan chairman and Umno president, said intensive preparations had been and were being carried out by Umno and Barisan component parties.
He said he was confident their strong election machineries would ensure victory for the coalition.
“GE14 can be held this year or next year. Whether this year or next year, we will still win. We have sharpened the sword,” he said when launching Jentera Jalinan Rakyat Plus (JR Plus) at the Putra World Trade Centre here Friday.
Instead, focus should be on their duties in winning over voters, he said.
He also advised the election machineries not to be too confident after Barisan won the Sarawak State Election with a bigger majority, apart from the by-elections in Kuala Kangsar, Sungai Besar and Tanjong Datu.
“I mention this as I want to remind that we can win. We have won the battle but haven’t won the war,” he said.

Present were the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the top Umno leadership and its wings and leaders of Barisan component parties.
However, Najib reminded Barisan leaders and the machinery not to think too much as to when GE14 would be called, or who would be chosen as candidates.Instead, focus should be on their duties in winning over voters, he said.

COUP D’ETAT IN UMNO: ZAHID DEPRIVED OF UMNO PRESIDENCY AS NAJIB PROMOTES COUSIN HISHAM TO PRE-EMPT DEMANDS FROM PARTY ELDERS FOR HIM TO QUIT
KUALA LUMPUR – The appointment of Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein as the Minister with Special Functions at the Prime Minister’s Department is a sign that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will step down soon, said Salahuddin Ayub.
In a statement, the Amanah deputy president also predicted that Hishammuddin will take over UMNO leadership until the coming general election.
Najib today announced the appointment in a statement, adding Hishammuddin would however remain as Defence Minister.
Meanwhile, PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli said the appointment is a not a good sign for the political aspirations of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
“This shows, either Hishammuddin wants to challenge (Ahmad) Zahid for the deputy UMNO president post or Hishammuddin himself is having trouble in keeping his vice-president post,” he said.
Another opposition leader, DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang said, with the appointment, Hishammuddin is now the second most powerful figure in the country.
“Hishammuddin may not be the deputy prime minister but he obviously is the second most powerful man in UMNO/BN,” he said in a statement.
Earlier, Ahmad Zahid in his statement has expressed support for Hishammuddin over his appointment.
“I support the new portfolio assigned to assist the Prime Minister in missions and special tasks to strengthen bilateral relations (with other countries) and also specific tasks that will lead to the smooth administration of the government,” he said.
Hishammuddin in a press conference at the Defence Ministry said no one should politicise or create a fuss about his appointment as announced by the prime minister today.

TERROR SPREADS THROUGH ZAHID’S ‘TEAM B’ AS MAJORITY TO BE DROPPED BY NEW SUPREMO HISHAM FROM GE14 CONTESTS
Almost everyone I know was caught off guard by DS Hishammuddin Hussein’s appointment as Special Functions Minister yesterday.
All they could do was to speculate about it.
No one I know could say for sure what’s really happening.
Maybe today there will be some proper explaination, but I don’t think that would be enough to quell the rumours.
People nowadays simply refuse to believe in political announcements.
They always want to know what they believe was the real story behind such announcements.
Honestly, I’m also not sure what’s happening.
And as the others, all I can do is to speculate.
I don’t really like doing that but it’s all I could offer a friend who asked my opinion about it yesterday evening.
These are what I told my friend,
– PM DS Najib Razak is promoting Hishammuddin ahead of his deputy DS Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
– Hishammuddin will play a more important role in his new capacity than Zahid in preparations for the next general election.
– General election is very near. Maybe between September and December.
– Hishammuddin will be Najib’s successor…maybe later, if not now.
– Najib must had felt that Hishammuddin is a better bet for him than Zahid.
– Definitely not a very good news for Zahid’s camp.
– Zahid will not protest this move. He can’t, even if he wants to because he simply doesn’t have the capacity. He’s outgunned.
Then again, I’m merely speculating.
Told my friend, who is a hardcore Umno member that it’s just coffee shop talk.
Just gossips.
I really got no special interest in it.
I don’t mind both guys. Doesn’t matter to me who between Zahid and Hishammuddin will be on top,
It’s not going to change my life, anyway.
Well, that’s about it.
Getting up for work.
Have a good day.

BOMBSHELL – UNPOPULAR NAJIB MAY BE FORCED BY UMNO WARLORDS TO STEP DOWN AHEAD OF GE14
A “coup d’etat” has taken place in the UMNO/BN government – not to topple but to protect the Prime Minister.
There can be no administrative or ministerial justification for the additional appointment of Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein as Minister with Special Functions in the Prime Minister’s Department while retaining his portfolio as Defence Minister, except for the political and “strategic” one of protecting Datuk Seri Najib Razak from being ousted as the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia – whether externally as a result of defeat in the forthcoming 14th general election or from being toppled internally as Prime Minister before the polls.
Najib has already set record as the Prime Minister with the most number of Ministers in the Prime Minister’s Department, and Hishammuddin will be the tenth Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
But Hishammuddin will be completely different from the other nine Ministers, as he will be the most powerful Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
Hishammuddin will not be like MCA Deputy President Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong – a Minister without responsibilities or power, and reduced to telling lies (like accusing me of being absent from Parliament in the afternoon on the last sitting of Dewan Rakyat, when I did not see Ka Siong in the Dewan Rakyat when I entered the chamber after lunch) – but will in fact be the most powerful Minister in the Cabinet, the de facto Deputy Prime Minister.
I expect Hishammuddin to take charge of the UMNO/BN campaign in the run-up to the 14th General Election to ensure that UMNO/BN is returned to Putrajaya and Najib remain as Prime Minister of Malaysia.
It is a vote of no confidence on the propaganda offensive which had been launched by the UMNO/BN “strategic communications” director, Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan, marshalling UMNO/BN owned and controlled mainstream media and the social media but using low-class and counter-productive demonization campaigns against Pakatan Harapan leaders, for instance to demonise me as a devil, monster, anti-Malay, anti-Islam, a communist, a PAP stooge, what-have-you, which has seen UMNO/BN losing even more credibility – to the extent that Najib has continued to sink in popularity, not just among Malaysians, but also among Malays!
This is no way for Najib to retain his PM’s ship or for UMNO/BN to win the 14GE, despite all the electoral gerrymandering and 1MDB skullduggery in cahoots with the Election Commission.
But this is not Najib’s sole worry.
Tun Mahathir’s comment in his interview with Bloomberg that the six-decade UMNO rule may be finally nearing its end, that the sentiment on the ground is so strong that Najib will fall in the next general election as “everybody you talk to today, anybody at all, none have good words for the government, especially Najib”, have struck a special resonance with Najib, and must have forced his hand to make the Hishammuddin appointment.
As Najib’s unpopularity among the Malay voters become more and more evident, there will be a strengthening school of thought inside UMNO that one ideal solution to ensure that UMNO can be returned to power in the next general election is to change the UMNO leader leading the charge in the 14th General Election – which is more palatable for UMNO diehards than teaming up with PAS, which is even thinking of a PAS-UMNO Federal Government, with Hadi Awang as Prime Minister based on a PAS-UMNO government with 80 PAS MPs, 40 UMNO MPs and 45 MPs from Sabah and Sarawak.
Who would lead the UMNO/BN charge in the 14GE if Najib withdraws or is forced to withdraw from the political scene?
The answer is quite obvious, hence the “coup d’etat” yesterday!

THE IMPENDING FALL OF MALAYSIA’S MOST POWERFUL PM – NAJIB RAZAK
Prime Minister Najib Razak happened only after former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad forced a leadership change in Malaysia in 2009.
He did not come to power by his own charm, capacity or by the will of the members of the ruling party, Umno
Without Mahathir pressing hard for the then Prime Minister of Malaysia Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to go, Najib would probably be Prime Minister after the 2013 general elections.
Or he could have been doomed by then with the allegations of the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu not going away after the court case.
But Abdullah eventually resigned after mounting pressure from Mahathir to see him out of office.
Mahathir cited the poor showing by the ruling UMNO coalition in the elections of 8 March 2008, and the way Abdullah was running the country as the reasons for his early demise as PM.
The 2008 results were appalling for the Umno, with the ruling party losing control of five of thirteen Malaysian state governments.
But many people forget that it was Abdullah who then identified Najib as his intended successor and when he left office, Abdullah imposed a sort of challenge on Najib.
He said the onus was on Najib to win party elections set for March 2009 before he could take over.
And that is where Najib started to shift the lines, moving the goal posts within Umno to go and grab the party leadership without contest.
If one reads the above story with a deep thinking mind, it will be clear that first of all, Najib was given a free wheel at the reigns of the Umno and the country’s leadership since 2009.
The Malaysian PM practically made himself into what he is today, that is the ultimate Malay political figure, while Mahathir had simply put his faith in the son of his situ, the father of Najib, Tun Abdul Razak.
And today, Najib is the most powerful PM Malaysia has ever had.
AND THIS IS HOW MALAY POLITICS GOES DOWN IN TRICKLE INTO THE MALAY-BUMIPUTRA HOUSEHOLDS IN MALAYSIA.
He controls the party apparatus with such power that even Mahathir did not dream of, and he has absolute power in the corridors of power, to the extent that it is practically impossible to budge him on any subject.
With this in his hands, and with Najib shuffling the cards like an old fox, he attracts the Malay-Bumiputra support perhaps like no other PM before.
If PM Najib was made by his own forays within the party and the government after he was anointed as the future leader of the country, then it is not for Mahathir or any opposition leader to come and claim that he is illegitimate.
They can’t even come and claim that they ‘made’ him, because with the amount of scandals running amok in Malaysia’s political landscape – 1MDB for sure – no leader will dare come forward to claim Najib owes them reverence.
And that is what made Mahathir’s push to remove Najib Razak from power a weaker enterprise than when he strived to push Abdullah Badawi out.
Abdullah was anointed as PM by Mahathir, who handed him the Prime Ministership on a platter.
Mahathir had the legitimacy, in the eyes of the Malay-Muslims, to ask for the removal of the person he had chosen to replace him and it was accommodated by the party which at that time still owed the former stalwart the respect he deserved.
With Abdullah remaining silent on the 1MDB scandal and totally resigned to his fate as a retired PM, there is no legitimacy (in the eyes of the Party and its supporters but also in the eyes of the Malay public in general) for the party to remove Najib from its leadership.
But that does not mean Mahathir cannot defeat Najib.

32,522 Malaysian Workers Were Terminated In 2016
Who to blame as these workers are jobless or hope they have found employment so that can feed themselves and their families. The country is not that well and staggering from one scandal to another and Government too preoccupied defending themselves and also politicking to govern the country. GST which should be 6% but the real GST is between 21 to 28% of the finish product because of the GST charged at the various stages from the origin of the product to the time it reaches the consumers.
A total of 37,699
workers were terminated last year of which 39.4% (14,848 workers) were via
Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS) while 60.6% (22,851 workers) were laid off.
According to NST, The Human
Resources Ministry said the majority of the terminations reported to the Labour
Department (JTK) involved local workers (32,552 workers) or 86.3% while 13.7%
or 5,147 were foreign workers.
“The termination of workers last year was actually much lower
compared to 2015,” said the
ministry in a reply when referring to reports quoting the Malaysian Employers
Federation (MEF) as saying that more workers would lose their jobs this year.
In 2015, 44,343
workers were affected, whereby, 19,891 workers (44.9%) were through VSS and
24,452 workers (55.1%) via normal termination process.
The ministry said the

followed by the wholesale and retail sectors (20.7%); Finance and Insurance

This was different from the termination in 2015 which was
dominated by the Financial and Insurance sectors (39.8%); followed by
manufacturing (20.8%) and Transportation and Storage sectors (14.7%) followed
by the issue of workers’ termination by MAS,” it said.
It is compulsory for
employers to inform JTK a month ahead if they wanted to terminate their
workers.
Normally workers were
terminated due to closure, excess workers due to restructuring, reduction in
output, merger of companies, technological changes and takeover.
In dealing with the
issue of termination of workers, the ministry had also set up 1Malaysia Outplacement
Center (1MOC) under Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Bhd (PSMB) which acted as a
one-stop centre for Malaysian workers who were terminated.
Malaysian Doctor ‘Teaches’ The Public After News Regarding The Pahang Hospital’s Inefficiency Went Viral!!!
Malaysian Doctor ‘Teaches’ The Public After News Regarding The Pahang Hospital’s Inefficiency Went Viral!!!
Whoops’s…this is kind of the bad side of quenching the thirst of making things viral!
Someone who didn’t do their research or even asking the hospital staffs first of why they were lacking in facilities got ‘e-burnt’ when a specialist of the same hospital gave him a general lesson.
A few days ago, a Facebook group had made one man’s frustration public and it eventually became a viral news. The man expressed his disappointment in the lack of chairs that were provided for the visitors that came to Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital.
He uploaded a few pictures showing how visitors, some of which couldn’t stand for a long time, were sitting down at the corners of the walkways. In his statement, he said that last time the hospital did provide an abundance of sitting area but now there were barely any. He also added on saying that if visitors wanted to come it’s best to bring their own chairs.
Obviously, netizens quickly took notice of his post and they too vented out their dissatisfaction. The post was getting much attention, till it ‘landed’ in the eyes of the hospital’s Physician and Nephrologist, Dr Rafidah Abdullah.
She took it upon herself to explain to the public why is the hospital’s lobby empty without any sitting area provided.
She starts off by explaining that their hospital has 9 floors in total with 4 lifts leading straight to the lobby and 4 others located at the side of the building. On average, they have 450 patients in a day that are placed in the wards. The hospital itself holds 400 staffs in each shift and that doesn’t include the visitors yet.
Now imagine if in the case of an emergency, like a bomb threat or a fire spreading in the premise, everyone needs to be evacuated via the lobby. Patients who are unable to walk will be escaping through the side lifts. She continues and asks to imagine what if the lobby had all the amount of chairs that the public are expecting to have, the same chairs will be the very reason why some or most of the people inside the building will not be able to get out of the building unharmed.
Personally, I feel like it would leave the patients, staffs and visitors of the hospital in panic mode if that happens.
Here’s what Dr Rafidah said that serves well as a reminder:
1. If you or your family member who isn’t feeling well or is in an unfit state, they should not be visiting those patients who are in the hospital. They are the people who should be visited at home, unless if they themselves are the hospital’s patients.
2. Hospital isn’t a picnic area. There are many risks when visiting the hospital. Elderly visitors, younger children and those who are also sick will easily be infected by those that they are visiting. If it is necessary to come over to the hospital, do make sure your visits are short.
3. Haven’t you thought of your safety when an emergency situation arises? Do you not care that the thousands of people in there will get trapped, and wouldn’t be saved?
4. Please obey the visiting hours. If you were to ‘camp’ in the ward, there’s a high chance that you are disturbing the patient’s treatments.
The physician also goes on saying how she is shocked by the majority of the netizens who only know how to complain without thinking ahead.
They are people who medicate and take care of patients, so they would not have any intentions of causing trouble to anyone. As her last reminder, she asks those who aren’t in their best of health conditions, please refrain from visiting patients in the hospital.
So there you have it, people! Next time, if you have any concerns please get them clarified and verified first, before announcing your complaints online. Well, it serves as a great reminder for everyone, including us. Peace out!
World's largest ship sets sail for UK: As big as six football pitches and twice as long as an aircraft carrier, it will ferry a 24,000 ton oil rig 500 miles to shore
World's
largest ship sets sail for UK: As big as six football pitches and twice as long
as an aircraft carrier, it will ferry a 24,000 ton oil rig 500 miles to shore
The largest ship in
the world arrives in the North Sea next month to start dismantling an oil rig,
in an unprecedented engineering mission.
The Pioneering
Spirit –longer than six Boeing 747s and nearly twice the size of the Royal
Navy's new aircraft carriers – will prise the 24,000-ton top platform off
Shell's Brent Delta rig and lift it on board.
It will ferry the
230-square foot structure – helipad included – intact for nearly 500 miles trip
through to the Able UK yard in Teesside where it will drop it off to be
recycled.
If successful, the
mission will mark a key step in winding down the Brent field, which has
supplied around 10 per cent of the UK's oil since it was discovered in the
1970s but is coming to the end of its life.
What to do with the
ageing rigs has been a conundrum for Shell and will only become more pressing
as the North Sea declines.
Rather than
dismantling the platform offshore, Shell bosses have decided it would be safer,
quicker, cheaper and more efficient to take it ashore, intact, where it can be
taken apart.
Alistair Hope, project and technology director for Brent decommissioning at Shell, said: 'They [Brent platforms] are a nightmare to pull apart so it is far better to bring them ashore in one piece and dismantle them in a much more controlled way on the quayside.'
Designed by
Swiss-Dutch Company Allseas Group, the Pioneering Spirit is the only ship that
can do that on the scale Shell needs.
Built between 2011
and 2014 in South Korea, she has a deck space equal to six football pitches and
can carry up to 47,200 tons.
Yet her mission is
extremely delicate, requiring movements controlled down to the inches. Sixteen
giant steel arms will attach to points on the underside of the rig platform and
lift it up.
But she has to be
able to do that in waves potentially nearly ten feet high, in as little as nine
seconds.
Originally planned
for last summer, the Brent Delta lift has been pushed back due to its
complexity.
Tests have been done
in simulators and a special test rig in Rotterdam, where the Pioneering Spirit
is anchored. Last summer she removed Repsol's Yme 13,300-ton platform from the
Norwegian North Sea.
Edward Heerema,
president and founder of Allseas, said he isn't worried about the upcoming job.
'We have been preparing for five years,' he says.
And with more than
470 North Sea platforms likely to need decommissioning by the 2050s, the effort
is also being watched closely by the oil industry.
As it approaches the
Able UK yard in Teesside, the Brent platform will be transferred onto a purpose
built barge, the Iron Lady, before being slid onshore.
It is hoped 3 per
cent or less will go to landfill while the rest can be re-used or sold off for
scrap. Yesterday in Rotterdam, the Pioneering Spirit's crews were working on
final preparations for the lift.
'There was a lot of skepticism
at the beginning,' said Allseas construction manager Daan Akerboom.
'But when you see it
at work, it's unbelievable,' he said.
True history of Malaya - Interesting read
By Marina Mahathir.
To all lovely Malaysian, please spend 5 minutes to read the following articles which post and shared by Marina Mahathir. I hope after this no one will call "Chinese" or "Indian" in Malaysia as "PENDATANG". We all are MALAYSIAN...
This is a really good observation by Marina M. My utmost respect to her for her integrity and honesty!
Marina Mahathir on Malaysia National Anthem “Negara Ku”... Interesting!
She really made a very good point here, read on!
Posted on Marina M’s blog in response to an article on the issue.
Some self-appointed defenders of Islam including the chief of “1Malaysia ” have insisted that Catholics should use “Tuhan” instead of “Allah” to address the Catholic or Christian God. But in the national anthem, “Tuhan” (not “Allah”) bless the country (…Tuhan kurniakan…). How now ?!!. If Malay-Muslims are that easily confused as portrayed by some politicians, they must be thinking that Malaysia is blessed by the Catholic/Christian God, and the Muslim God “Allah” is perpetually on leave.
Perhaps, this confusion may cause the government to change the national anthem by replacing “Tuhan” with “Allah” But then again, non-Muslims will not be allowed to sing the national anthem. Then it would be non-|-Muslims turn to be confused. If this issue goes to the courts, even the judges will get headache and confused.
And not forgetting our 1st. Rukunegara “Kepercayaan kepada TUHAN”. How???
SUBJECT: HARI INI DALAM SEJARAH
The Truth Revealed (with evidence)!
In June 1998, the government of Malaysia hired a team of experts from all over the world to gather in Malaysia for a research project to compliment the history studies that we undertook in our secondary school.
The objective of the research is simply:
1. to find proof and evidence that show the Malays were the origins of Malaysia and they were the first race and religion that landed in Malaysia.
2. To further strengthen their claims, first they need to find the graveyards of Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Lekiu and others... to show the existence of their pioneers.
3. The Batu Bersurat in Terengganu, reveals that the Islamic religion landed in Malaysia more than a hundred years ago which further strengthened their claims!
BEWARE & OPEN YOUR EYES!!
Go and ask your brother, sister, niece, nephew etc. Since the year 1999 (if I’m not mistaken) or year 2000, do they study about HANG TUAH anymore?
Why is that popular subject GONE?
Missing in action?
Or evidence reveals something else that caused the government to stop the syllabus and HIDE the TRUTH?
Here are the Evidences of the findings by the team of scientist’s archaeologist, historian and other technical staff from the United
States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Yemen & Russia.
The evidence are:
1) They finally found the graveyards of Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat and others, their skeletons had been analyzed and samples of DNA taken with the results showing:
Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Lekiu and mates were NOT MALAY !!
They were CHINESE origins (Islamic) from China!!!
Why were they here in Malacca?
If you go back in history, you would know that they were on a mission to protect the UNGRATEFUL MALAY Sultanate from the frequent attacks by the Kingdom of SIAM (Thailand).
So Hang Tuah was not a Malay hero!
They were the protectors of the useless and ungrateful Parameswara (who was from INDONESIA) who landed in Malacca and claimed that the land belonged to him!
Hang Tuah and friends were all from China, they were assigned to the Malacca Sultanate because Parameswara requested the Ming Dynasty Emperor for protection!
Hence, the rich historical heritage of the
Babas & Nyonyas were closely linked to the Seven Voyages to the Western Ocean by Admiral Zheng He who incidentally was a Chinese Muslim himself!
In fact the Babas and Nyonyas were one of the earliest descendants from the aristocratic lineage of Admiral Zheng He from China.
These Chinese have interbred with the Parameswara’s people and till today are still more Chinese than Malay.
They follow Chinese customs, wear “baju kurung with kerosang”, speaks bazaar Malay
language and Hokkien and they eat pork.
They co-celebrate every religion existing in this country such as Holy Mary and Jesus, Hindu god and even the Islamic “keramat”.
This is the best integrated race and the earliest ever formed in Malaysia but yet they are non Bumiputras even though they are
one of the earliest….earlier than the so called Malays if there is such a race!!!!
That’s why the Hang Tuah series of history is MISSING from the Malaysian SEJARAH today!
It’s shameful and they destroyed all
facts on Hang Tuah just to save their faces!!
Note: Remember Princess Hang Li Poh? – All surname ‘HANG’ (or ANG in Hokkien).
Kedukan Bukit Inscription, using Pallava alphabet, is the oldest surviving specimen of the Old Malay language in South Sumatra, Indonesia.
2) The researchers hired by the government found the oldest tombstones (graveyard) in Kelantan in year 2000. Surprisingly, the tombstones were at least 900 years old!
Older than the so-called Batu Bersurat.
And the interesting thing was that they all belonged to the CHINESE!
And world history knows that Indonesia, this Melayu land and all d land surrounding it including Singapore was ruled by Indian kings, particularly Tamils. NeelIauthaman at Singapore and Parameswara who ran away from Indonesia, all proofs this. And furthering to this the archeologist found Bujang valley which is not revealed to the public.
They call themselves Melayu and even this word is pure Tamil word. In Tamil, land with mountains is called Malaiyur... which gives the word 'Malay'!!! And the people who live there is called Malayuraan'... Malay (mountain) + uraan(people) which became orang melayu'. My God, if you are the hairy type of fanatic person, call yourself Malay after reading this without shame in your heart!
If you want the hard evidence of what the truth of the Research reveals, please write to The Federal Association of Archaeology & Research of Michigan, USA.
This is a good reason to remind the Bumiputras NOT to ask the Chinese
or Indians to go back to their Motherlands because the evidence had shown that Malays were NOT the original people of Malaysia!
The Truth Revealed (with evidence) and anthropologists have yet to ascertain if there was indeed a Malay race!
