Nikola Tesla the genius the world forgot and the Death Ray machine the weapon to end all weapons

Tesla inherited from his father a deep hatred of war. Throughout his life, he sought a technological way to end warfare. He thought that war could be converted into, "a mere spectacle of machines."

In 1931 Tesla announced to reporters at a press conference that he was on the verge of discovering an entirely new source of energy. Asked to explain the nature of the power, he replied, "The idea first came upon me as a tremendous shock... I can only say at this time that it will come from an entirely new and unsuspected source."

War clouds were again darkening Europe. On 11 July 1934 the headline on the front page of the New York Times read, "TESLA, AT 78, BARES NEW 'DEATH BEAM.'" The article reported that the new invention "will send concentrated beams of particles through the free air, of such tremendous energy that they will bring down a fleet of 10,000 enemy airplanes at a distance of 250 miles..." Tesla stated that the death beam would make war impossible by offering every country an "invisible Chinese wall."

The idea generated considerable interest and controversy. Tesla went immediately to J. P. Morgan, Jr. in search of financing to build a prototype of his invention. Morgan was unconvinced. Tesla also attempted to deal directly with Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain. But when Chamberlain resigned upon discovering that he had been out-maneuvered by Hitler at Munich, interest in Tesla's anti-war weapon eventually collapsed.

By 1937 it was clear that war would soon break out in Europe. Frustrated in his attempts to generate interest and financing for his "peace beam," he sent an elaborate technical paper, including diagrams, to a number of Allied nations including the United States, Canada, England, France, the Soviet Union, and Yugoslavia. Titled "New Art of Projecting Concentrated Non-Dispersive Energy Through Natural Media," the paper provided the first technical description of what is today called a charged particle beam weapon.

What set Tesla's proposal apart from the usual run of fantasy "death rays" was a unique vacuum chamber with one end open to the atmosphere. Tesla devised a unique vacuum seal by directing a high-velocity air stream at the tip of his gun to maintain "high vacua." The necessary pumping action would be accomplished with a large Tesla turbine.

Of all the countries to receive Tesla's proposal, the greatest interest came from the Soviet Union. In 1937 Tesla presented a plan to the Amtorg Trading Corporation, an alleged Soviet arms front in New York City. Two years later, in 1939, one stage of the plan was tested in the USSR and Tesla received a check for $25,000.

Tesla hoped that his invention would be used for purely defensive purposes, and thus would become an anti-war machine. His system required a series of power plants located along a country's coast that would scan the skies in search of enemy aircraft. Since the beam was projected in a straight line, it was only effective for about 200 miles — the distance of the curvature of the earth.

Tesla also contemplated peacetime applications for his particle beam, one being to transmit power without wires over long distances. Another radical notion he proposed was to heat up portions of the upper atmosphere to light the sky at night — a man-made aurora borealis.

Whether Tesla's idea was ever taken seriously is still a mater of conjecture. Most experts today consider his idea infeasible. Though, his death beam bears an uncanny resemblance to the charged-particle beam weapon developed by both the United States and the Soviet Union during the cold war.

Nonetheless, Tesla's dream for a technological means to end war seems as impossible now as it did when he proposed the idea in the 1930s.

One of the more controversial topics involving Nikola Tesla is what became of many of his technical and scientific papers after he died in 1943. Just before his death at the height of World War II, he claimed that he had perfected his so-called "death beam." So it was natural that the FBI and other U.S. Government agencies would be interested in any scientific ideas involving weaponry. Some were concerned that Tesla's papers might fall into the hands of the Axis powers or the Soviets.
The morning after the inventor's death, his nephew Sava Kosanovic´ hurried to his uncle's room at the Hotel New Yorker. He was an up-and-coming Yugoslav official with suspected connections to the communist party in his country. By the time he arrived, Tesla's body had already been removed, and Kosanovic´ suspected that someone had already gone through his uncle's effects. Technical papers were missing as well as a black notebook he knew Tesla kept—a notebook with several hundred pages, some of which were marked "Government."
P. E. Foxworth, assistant director of the New York FBI office, was called in to investigate. According to Foxworth, the government was "vitally interested" in preserving Tesla's papers. Two days after Tesla's death, representatives of the Office of Alien Property went to his room at the New Yorker Hotel and seized all his possessions.
Dr. John G. Trump, an electrical engineer with the National Defense Research Committee of the Office of Scientific Research and Development, was called in to analyze the Tesla papers in OAP custody. Following a three-day investigation, Dr. Trump concluded:
His [Tesla's] thoughts and efforts during at least the past 15 years were primarily of a speculative, philosophical, and somewhat promotional character often concerned with the production and wireless transmission of power; but did not include new, sound, workable principles or methods for realizing such results.
Just after World War II, there was a renewed interest in beam weapons. Copies of Tesla's papers on particle beam weaponry were sent to Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. An operation code-named "Project Nick" was heavily funded and placed under the command of Brigadier General L. C. Craigie to test the feasibility of Tesla's concept. Details of the experiments were never published, and the project was apparently discontinued. But something peculiar happened. The copies of Tesla's papers disappeared and nobody knows what happened to them.
In 1952, Tesla's remaining papers and possessions were released to Sava Kosanovic´ and returned to Belgrade, Yugoslavia where a museum was created in the inventor's honor. For many years, under Tito's communist regime, it was extremely difficult for Western journalists and scholars to gain access to the Tesla archive in Yugoslavia; even then they were allowed to see only selected papers. This was not the case for Soviet scientists who came in delegations during the 1950s. Concerns increased in 1960 when Soviet Premier Khrushchev announced to the Supreme Soviet that "a new and fantastic weapon was in the hatching stage."
Work on beam weapons also continued in the United States. In 1958 the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) initiated a top-secret project code-named "Seesaw" at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory to develop a charged-particle beam weapon. More than ten years and twenty-seven million dollars later, the project was abandoned "because of the projected high costs associated with implementation as well as the formidable technical problems associated with propagating a beam through very long ranges in the atmosphere." Scientists associated with the project had no knowledge of Tesla's papers.
In the late 1970s, there was fear that the Soviets may have achieved a technological breakthrough. Some U.S. defense analysts concluded that a large beam weapon facility was under construction near the Sino-Soviet border in Southern Russia.
The American response to this "technological surprise" was the Strategic Defense Initiative announced by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. Teams of government scientists were urged to "turn their great talents now to the cause of mankind and world peace, to give us the means of rendering these nuclear weapons impotent and obsolete."
Today, after a half-century of research and billions of dollars of investment, the SDI program is generally considered a failure, and there is still no realistic means of defense against a nuclear missile attack.
For many years scientists and researchers have sought for Tesla's missing papers with no apparent success. It is conceivable that if Nikola Tesla knew a means for accurately projecting lethal beams of energy through the atmosphere, he may have taken it to the grave with him.

Nuclear War Poker Game – Kim Keeps Raising Stakes, Trump Keeps Blinking

Will U.S. finally attack North Korea? That’s a trillion dollar question everyone is asking, and betting, as Sheriff Trump moves his war machines closer and closer to Bully Kim’s neighbourhood. If this is the Wild Wild West, both cowboys would have had their face-to-face gunfight, and the one who could draw his gun faster and shoot accurately wins the game.

Unfortunately, this is not the Cowboy World where two guys who don’t like each other solve their problem with a gunfight. And if we have to bet, we would say Donald Trump would eventually chicken out from his poker game with Kim Jong-un. Get real, if the intention was to strike North Korea, the U.S. would not have told all and sundry they’re sending aircraft carrier.

If Trump administration is serious about terminating fat boy Kim, there would have been a silent unannounced attack on North Korea, similar to Syria. There would have been a sudden volley of Tomahawk cruise missiles – possibly hundreds of them – pounding on North Korea. That’s what military strategists would do – delivering an element of surprise.

In the case of North Korea, however, the Trump announced to the world the deployment of the U.S. Navy’s Carrier Strike Group 1 (CSG1) led by nuclear aircraft carrier Carl Vinson, the same strike force sent earlier to South China Sea to intimidate China. As if the party wasn’t fun enough, Trump is now planning to send two more aircraft carriers – the Ronald Reagan and the Nimitz – to the area.

Trump administration keeps bitching about a “sudden strike” on the Hermit Kingdom. Kim dictatorship keeps calling Trump bluff, and raises the stakes. If the U.S. needs three aircraft carriers to do the job, it means its fearsome strike group isn’t that deadly as the Americans want people to believe. Unless the plan was to kill every single North Korean, Trump doesn’t need three aircraft carriers.

Since the U.S. bombardment of a Syrian airbase, experts have been waiting with popcorn and Coke to see if Kim Jong-un would go into hiding. Jong-un’s father, Kim Jong Il, disappeared from public view for about six weeks in 2003 at the time of the Iraq war. Because Kim Jong-un loves the public spotlight, it’s a good indicator if he similarly goes into hiding.

Not only Kim Jong-un didn’t hide, much to Trump’s annoyance, he was also seen happily cheering a display of North Korea military force, celebrating the 105th birth anniversary of the nation’s founding president, Kim Il-sung. On the display were new types of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) and submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM).

Clearly, North Korea preferred flexing its military muscles instead of caving to the U.S.’ intimidation. As aircraft carrier Carl Vinson steamed towards the Korean Peninsula, a top North Korean official – Choe Ryong Hae – issued a warning against America during the ceremony – “We will respond to an all-out war with an all-out war and a nuclear war with our style of a nuclear attack.”

Do you really think Trump unleashed the MOAB (mother of all bombs) just to kill a bunch of ISIS terrorists in Afghanistan? It was supposed to send another scary message to Mr. Kim. However, the naughty boy responded with another missile testing, although it fails and explodes 5-seconds on liftoff. Still, it shows Kim isn’t afraid of Trump at all.

Armed with the recent U.S. military strikes in Syria and Afghanistan Vice President Mike warns the North Korea not to “test” President Donald Trump. But to Kim Jong-un, Pence’s warning is an admission that Trump does not have what it takes to strike North Korea. It was nothing but an empty rhetoric because the U.S. dares not attack North Korea.

North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Han Song-Ryol, in an interview with BBC, has the following to offer – “We’ll be conducting more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.” While insisting that North Korea will keep testing ballistic missile technology as it sees fit, he also said “all out war” is possible if America continues to be “reckless enough to use military means.”

On Sunday, Trump’s national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, finally said that Trump was “not considering military action” for now, despite the sending to Korean waters of a carrier strike group led by the nuclear-powered USS Carl Vinson. Instead, Trump administration is working with its allies and China on a range of other responses.

On the table are tougher sanctions which could include an oil embargo, a global ban on North Korea’s airline, intercepting cargo ships and punishing Chinese banks doing business with Pyongyang. But as long as Beijing keeps dragging its feet when it comes to pressuring Kim Jong-un, there’s only so much that Sheriff Trump could do.

We have written why China will not allow U.S. to attack North Korea. Even if Beijing abandons Pyongyang, which is absolutely unlikely, Washington will not dare to strike North Korea. Unlike Iraq, Libya, Syria and other nations the U.S. had bullied and destroyed, North Korea is not an easy meat simply because the Hermit Kingdom possesses nuclear weapons.

If taking out North Korea is as easy as bombing Middle East nations until the kingdom comes, the U.S. would have done that ages ago. The problem with striking North Korea, including nuking the whole nation, is its proximity to South Korea and Japan. South Korea alone has 3-stage of defence system which includes fabulous pre-emptive strike plans.

They have Operations Plan (OPLAN) 5015, “4D” operational plan (detect, disrupt, destroy, and defend), Korea Air and Missile Defence (KAMD) plan and whatnot. But those are merely plans, which may or may not work. Missile defences help reduce the threat, but they can’t eliminate it. In short, missile defence involves hitting a bullet with another bullet.

Missile defence systems will never provide 100% effectiveness. Not even the controversial but sophisticated THAAD can guarantee the protection of Seoul. In a real nuclear war, which the world hasn’t experienced before, North Korea just needs a single nuclear weapon to escape South Korea and Japan defences to kill thousands, or even millions if more than one penetrates the defences.

North Korea has been practicing firing off multiple missiles in rapid succession or simultaneously to overwhelm enemy missile defence systems. And nobody in Washington knows for sure how much cheap and fast missiles North Korea has built over the years. With enough simultaneous launches it could overwhelm the THAAD system in South Korea and Japan.

If that was not bad enough, North Korea’s missiles aren’t statically stationed like the Syrian airbase, waiting patiently for the U.S. and its allies to hit. They’re being mounted on mobile launchers and scattered around the country. When they eventually gain expertise in solid-fuelled missiles, it would be even harder to track, making them less vulnerable to pre-emptive strikes.

Mr. Kim could also attack from its fleet of submarines. North Korea maintains one of the world’s largest submarine forces, with approximately 70 submarines in service. Although mostly are obsolete with only a handful today are believed to be capable of firing submarine-launched ballistic missiles or so-called SLBMs, they could deliver great damage to South Korea and Japan.

The thought of North Korea’s fully submersible submarines firing a nuclear ballistic missile isn’t totally impossible. Missiles fired by North Korean submarines off the east coast of Japan might be able to dodge detection from Japan’s Patriot anti-missile system by launching from behind radar. Similarly, a submarine missile from the North Korean navy could evade South Korea’s THAAD defence systems.

Therefore, North Korea isn’t just a fat juicy sitting duck ready to be slaughtered by the U.S. They have 70 fully submersible submarines that could be targeting any part of South Korea and Japan. Their submarines often mocked as “old and noisy,” yet in 2015 South Korean defence officials reported a sudden disappearance of around 50 of the North’s submarines.

Many people who read about North Korea-United States current situation as a Korean War II about to explode. And they think in the event that North Korea carried out a nuclear strike, successful or not, the U.S. would use nuclear weapons to turn the North into a crater. Like Hollywood films, the audience think the good guy U.S. would win while the bad guy North Korea would be wiped out.

Yes, North Korea would be defeated ultimately but when Kim Jong-un is pushed to the wall, the crazy fat boy will unleash everything in his arsenal to bring down as many Koreans, Japanese and Americans as possible with him. The collateral damage is simply too great for even a tough Sheriff Trump to justify. Does U.S. plan to kill millions of people?

Considering that North Korea has launched satellites using Taepodong-style rockets and pre-emptively assassinated Kim Jong-nam with VX Nerve Agent, Kim Jong-un isn’t as stupid as Donald Trump thinks the dictator is. In fact, Mr. Kim is more unpredictable than Mr. Trump and could unleash not only nuclear weapons but also chemical weapons.

At the end of the day, China and Russia are still the stumbling block to a U.S. military strike against North Korea. The deployment of spy vessels by Beijing and Moscow appears to be a signal that both superpower aren’t going to keep quiet while Washington demolishing Pyongyang. It seems both China and Russia are gathering intelligence to assist North Korea.

North Korea is a guard dog to both China and Russia, the same way Japan and South Korea are to the United States. The difference is, while Japan and South Korea are poodles, North Korea is a “Rottweiler”. The U.S. can sell the idea that it is in China’s long-term interest to have a unified, demilitarized Korea. But China and Russia knew a united Korea is just another breed of America’s lapdog.

In January, 2017, Donald Trump drew a red-line, vowing North Korea would never be allowed to test an intercontinental ballistic missile. Today, White House says Trump administration won’t be drawing any “red lines” because it hasn’t really worked in the past. Obviously, there’s no good military-option for Trump. The mighty warships sent to Korean Peninsula were just to show off.

Top-8 Ways To Access Blocked Websites On Windows, MAC, Android & Apple iOS Devices

There’re numerous reasons why certain websites are blocked on the Internet. Your office or university blocks websites internally in order to prevent you from distracted – such as enjoying Playboy or Penthouse website. Sometimes your local ISP blocks certain websites because they receive instruction from the government after certain embarrassing scandals are exposed.

Whatever the reasons, it’s annoying for users to be treated as if they couldn’t think for themselves. The last thing social media users want are to be brainwashed by certain propaganda without alternative media to tell a different story. So, when you’re hit with “Error 404” page on certain websites, it’s time to bypass the blocking. Here’re top eight ways to get around it.

Solution For Desktop / Laptop (Windows / MAC)

{ Option-1 } Change DNS Settings

If you’re not a technical guy, chances are your DNS is pointing to your local ISP’s DNS, which in turn is at the mercy of the authorities. If the authorities happen to be a rogue government who doesn’t like a website which criticizes their corruption or brutality, they would tell the ISP (Internet Service Provider) to block the website. DNS blocking is the first thing the ISP will do.

When you try to access a blocked website, the ISP’s DNS says you can’t proceed and throws you an “Error 404”. Screw the ISP. You’re a grown up adult and not a child who must be told what to read and what not to read. You’re going to change your DNS settings to use Google Public DNS. So, here’s how to free yourself from the evil claws.

{ Option-1A } Change DNS Settings on Windows 7

Change Windows IPv4 DNS Settings
1.Click on “Start” button and click on “Control Panel”.
2.Click on “Network and Internet”.
3.Click on “Network and Sharing Center”.
4.Click on “Change adapter settings”.
5.Choose the connection you use to access the Internet •example: Local Area Network – click “Properties”
•example: Wireless Network Connection – click “Properties”

6.Select “Networking” tab
7.Click “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” •Your default is “Obtain DNS server address automatically”
•Change it and select “Use the following DNS server addresses”
•Enter 8.8.8.8 as your “Preferred DNS Server”
•Enter 8.8.4.4 as your “Alternate DNS Server”

8.Click “OK” to save and exit.

{ Option-1B } Change DNS Settings on MAC OS

Change MAC IPv4 DNS Settings
1.Click on “Apple”, choose “System Preferences”, and select “Network”.
2.Choose the connection you use to access the Internet •example: Built-in Ethernet – click “Advanced”
•example: Airport – click “Advanced”

3.Select “DNS” tab
4.Click+ at the bottom of the DNS Servers list •Enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS Server (for TCP/IPv4)

5.Click “OK”, click “Apply”

You should be able to access blocked websites after changing your default DNS settings, which was pointing to your router, which in turn got its DNS settings automatically from the local ISP. Reboot your computer if it doesn’t work. So, if you want to give it a second layer of punch, change the router’s DNS settings to the same Google Public DNS too.

{ Option-2 } Add A Browser Extension

But what if the above option-A (changing DNS settings) on a Windows or Mac is too complicated that it could lead you to commit suicide? Before you grab a knife and start stabbing yourself, here’s another option – unblocking websites in your browser. Take note that we’re still in the subject of desktop / laptop, not smartphone or cellphone.

{ Option-2A } For Google Chrome Browser

Install Browsec Extension to Chrome Browser

If you’re using Google Chrome browser, do you know that there’re tons of “extensions” to be added to the browser? Like Apple’s AppStore or Android’s PlayStore, Chrome has its own Chrome Web Store too. One of my favourite proxy extensions is “Browsec“, but you can always choose “ZenMate” or others to your liking. Here’s how to add the extension.
1.Open your Chrome browser.
2.Click this link – “Browsec” – to install
3.Click “+ Add To Chrome” button on top right
4.It prompts for permission – Click “Add extension” button
5.A new icon-button appears on top right of Chrome browser toolbar.
6.Click the “Browsec Icon” on the browser toolbar
7.Turn “ON” traffic protection for your browser

{ Option-2B } For Mozilla Firefox Browser

Both “Browsec” or “ZenMate” are also available for Firefox fans. The installation steps are pretty much the same as Chrome. Just click on Browsec or ZenMate to install it as an extension to your Firefox browser. Click “Browsec Icon” or “Zenmate Icon” on top right of the browser toolbar to activate it. Once activated, you can start browsing all the blocked websites.

Technical guys would appreciate TOR browser, the preferred browser for hackers. TOR (short for The Onion Router) was initially a worldwide network of servers developed with the U.S. Navy that enabled people to browse the internet anonymously. It’s so secured that even the FBI is finding it hard to hack your identity, let alone your local ISP.

{ Option-4 } Use VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Now, if you don’t think you can stomach Option-B (Add A Browser Extension), let alone Option-A (Change DNS Settings), then the laziest method is to search for free VPN on the Internet. The problem with VPN – its slower than the usual performance. Another downside of using the free version is that you will get ads during your browsing session.

Solution For Mobile Smartphone (Android and iOS)

{ Option-5 } Change DNS Settings (Android / iOS)
Similar to changing DNS settings in Windows or MAC, you can actually change the same settings in your Apple iPhone or iPad or Android. When your smart devices get WIFI connection, they are automatically assigned the DNS based on router configuration. Still, you can bypass them, if websites you wish to access are blocked by the local ISP.

{ Option-5A } Change DNS Settings on Android

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Long-Press “Wi-Fi” you’re connected to.
  3. Tap “Modify Network Config”
  4. Tap the box next to “Show advanced options”. Scroll down.
  5. Tap “DHCP”, select “Static IP”, and scroll down.
  6. Modify “DNS 1” to 8.8.8.8 and “DNS 2” to 8.8.4.4
  7. Tap “Save”.

  1. Open the iPhone / iPad “Settings”
  2. Tap on Wi-Fi. If it’s switched off, turn it on.
  3. Select a Wi-Fi network and tap on the blue “i” icon
  4. Tap on the text-field across the DNS label
  5. Enter the DNS addresses with Google DNS address: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.8.4
  6. Tap on Wi-Fi on top to go back. The changes are saved automatically.

{ Option-6 } Enable Chrome Data-Saver (Android Only)
If you’re using Android phone (not iPhone iOS), the solution could be as simple as three steps to access blocked websites. Basically Google Chrome browser has this “Data Saver” feature which enables you to surf a website through Google Proxy which is protected by SSL. This is like changing the DNS settings (Option-A above) but in an easy Step-1-2-3.

To enable Data Saver on Android:
  1. Open Chrome and press the “Action Overflow Button”(three vertical dots) in the upper right corner.
  2. Tap “Settings”. Scrow down and touch “Data Saver”.
  3. On top right switch hit it to “ON”
By turning this feature “ON”, your phone essentially talks to Google Public DNS, not your local ISP DNS. Another reason why you should enable the “Data Saver” is it helps compress and encrypt your data, so you save tons of money on data usage. Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t like this “Data Saver” feature for obvious reason; hence it won’t work on iPhone.

{ Option-7 } Use VPN (Android / iOS)
Just like desktop / laptop, VPN is the magic wand for both Android and iOS smartphones. You just need to search Apple’s AppStore or Android’s PlayStore for free VPN apps with high downloads and 5 stars and the magic word – FREE. Again, the downside of using the free version is that you will get ads and a slower than usual performance.

If you’re still on the obsolete version of Apple iOS such as iOS 7, there’s a built-in VPN feature. You just need to go to “Settings”, choose “Free VPN” and flip the switch “ON”. In latest iOS, however, Apple had taken this out due to a number of security vulnerabilities. Therefore, you need third-party VPN such as ExpressVPN, TunnelBear or Opera VPN.

{ Option-8 } Use Proxy Server
A proxy server is a server that acts as a middleman, relaying your request for connection to a webpage, file, or service on the Internet. It gets you around the DNS block because the proxy server doesn’t rely on our local ISP’s DNS servers. The downside to using a proxy is that all your passwords, cookie information, etc is being passed to the middleman.

We’ll not drill into how to use proxy server since this method is as complicated, if not more tedious, than changing DNS settings. Furthermore, there’re simpler methods to get around local ISP blocking as mentioned above. But if you insist, launch your browser – any browser – and search for free proxy server such as HideMyAss and pump in the website address (e.g. www.financetwitter.com) and click “Hide My Ass!”

Tightening the noose on Pakatan states

Cutting off development projects in non-BN constituencies will starve the two state governments, and is as good as grabbing state power
COMMENT
It is no coincidence that Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Noh Omar ruled to cut off all BP.1 development projects in non-BN constituency barely three months after Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Mansor proposed to grab Pakatan Harapan-held Penang as federal territory.
BN, while preaching democracy, moderation and transformation, has been embarking on a sinister strategy to maintain power by undemocratic means.
Previously, Gerakan and MCA leaders assured the people that Ku Nan’s idea was just a wishful thinking and some of them even said it was an impossible suggestion.
I have warned that Gerakan and MCA were still day-dreaming themselves and that Ku Nan’s plan should not be taken lightly at all.
With this latest move by Noh Omar, it is proven that Umno at the federal level is committed to using undemocratic means to grab power.
This means, either Gerakan and MCA are still sleeping or they are accomplices to Umno by trying to give false assurance to the people on this sinister plot.
The Noh Omar’s ruling however is not a new tactic.
For years, BN component parties including Gerakan, MCA, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu in Sarawak and Umno in Sabah were in cohort with the prime minister to quietly starve state governments into submission.
I have pointed out in parliament during the 2017 Budget debate last year that although Penang consistently contributed 30% to our national trade balance every year from 2008-2015, our state only received an average of 0.07% from the federal budget annually.
According to statistics, in 2013, the two Pakatan Harapan states, Penang and Selangor paid the most tax per capita (both direct and indirect taxes) compared to other states in Malaysia.
However, in the same year, Penang only received 0.07% and Selangor 0.31% of the federal budget from Putrajaya.
As it is, the federal government is already starving state governments. Now with the new Noh Omar’s ruling, the noose is tightened.
Clearly, starving the state government is as good as grabbing state power. This tactic prevents state governments from fulfilling its democratic duties to the people in the state, and instead have to submit to their Umno federal overlords.
As such, I want to repeat, the next election is a crucial referendum on whether Penangites and Malaysians in general agree to Umno-BN’s power grab and bullying of state governments.

Traitors in the midst of Pakatan Harapan and mostly in DAP

Traitors in Pakatan Harapan , yes many are and do not realize they will be the ones because they are already been compromised during to the life style choices and other activities which are morally wrong in the eyes of rakya and the past and present illegal activities., These people will be targeted for blackmail by the Ruling Party, the government and the federal enforcement authorities.

There are going to be willing conspirators who have been planted as deep cover agents in the opposition parties and will be activated at the right time to do maximum damage to the opposition Parties. DAP is the most venerable as they are seen as the strongest opposition political party and ripe for attach. UMNO considers DAP have crossed the red line in politics when they started poaching Malay leaders and Malays support for DAP which was the domain of UMNO.

Time will tell who these sleeper agents and compromised Malays in DAP. Some already have left before been exposed for the alternative lifestyle choices and now are open source agents for UMNO against DAP.

Advise to DAP , leave it to their partner to marshal the Malay support for the opposition and do not be greedy in wanting the cake and also eat the cake

DAP cannot afford any more turncoats as  it marched to GE14 for it carries the hopes of Pakatan Harapan to deliver the non-Malay support which is crucial to winning the GE14 along with the Malay votes

Remember Tunku Aziz and a respected man going rouge and suspected he was blackmailed and his personal life was more important than his public life. Money was never an issue as he was already in late 70’s and was already well off financially. Any dark secrets that were only know to him and his handlers. All politicians and heard if every one of the rakyat have a file somewhere on them.

Remember Stasi of East Germany fame that had a file on every East German and it was not even a digital era yet. Here we have a shadowy q government organization which operates along the lines of Stasi spying on the rakyat and keep a file on every one and it is easy now in Malaysia as this is digital era .

PKR’s Adam Rosly charged with giving false evidence

Welcome thieves I am you host in Bamboo River sanctuary and remember first rule of law, your arse is mine and mine only

It is official in. When is Malaysia if you are rich you are a criminal MACC going to start rounding up the BN-UMNO-MIC-MCA-GERAKAN-PPP and others in the herd to the courts for having accumulated wealth who proper documentations as from where the wealth came from or charge them for stealing the Rakyat money. The Rakyat are watching and arresting and charging rosy for his wealth and been rich is a plus point for PH as the Rakyat have seen the obscene wealth that the ruling party leaders and members have but are beyond reach of the justice system. The rakyat believe in the courts of public opinion and the power of the jury which is the ballot box. BN be very afraid as the rakyat are watching with disgust and are going to convict you all for treason and stealing of the rakyat money and the jury the rakyat will pronounce the guilty verdict in GE14 and consign you and all your benefactors and protectors where ever you all are to the Bamboo River sanctuary for thieves. At the sanctuary the monkeys will be the masters and you will serve the monkeys there and live your lives in the Planet of apes in real life in Bamboo river monkey sanctuary

Adam, who claimed trial to six charges today, following his arrest over having ‘unusual’ wealth by the MACC, was granted bail of RM300,000 in one surety.

KUALA LUMPUR: Ampang PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly claimed trial at the Sessions Court here today to six charges related to giving false statements to the authorities.
He was charged under Sections 32(8)(c) and 89 of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act for providing forged documents as valid documents and giving false evidence.
Four charges are under Section 89 while two others are under Section 32(8)(c).
Adam was said to have committed the offences at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya between Feb 10 and Feb 22.
The maximum custodial sentence under the anti-money laundering law is five years’ jail, RM3 million fine, or both.
Sessions Court judge Allaudeen Ismail granted Adam bail of RM300,000 in one surety for all the charges.
The court ordered that his passport be impounded, and fixed May 29 for the case to be mentioned again.
Deputy public prosecutor Ahmad Akram Gharib, from the MACC, appeared for the prosecution while Adam was represented by Ahmad Zaidi Zainal.
Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin was present in court today, along with Adam’s family members and supporters.

As he was taken out of the court, his supporters shouted, “Reformasi”, “Lawan tetap lawan” and “Hidup Adam”.
Adam appeared to be smiling as he left.
Outside the court, meanwhile, Zuraida told reporters that the charges against Adam were “absurd”, as was the RM300,000 bail set by the court.
“But his family will try to raise the money.”
She also reiterated that Adam was never formally appointed as her special officer.
“He is the Ampang PKR youth chief. So in that capacity, he carried out work for the constituency of which I am the MP.
“So the outsiders may perceive him as my special officer, but he was never specially appointed as one.”
Last Thursday, the 29-year-old was arrested by MACC for investigation into his “unusual” wealth.
He had gone to the commission’s headquarters to have his statement recorded for the second time, the first being on Feb 10.
Adam’s alleged wealth came to public knowledge after Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos claimed that he owned a bungalow and a number of luxury cars, despite having held a post in PKR for only one term.
Adam denied any wrongdoing and said his wealth had come from business ventures and an inheritance.
Yesterday, MACC seized Adam’s RM1.2 million castle-styled bungalow and five luxury cars.
His bank account, and that of his wife, which contain over RM212,000, were also frozen.

Paris shooting: Gunman was 'focus of anti-terror' probe

People could be seen walking towards police with arms raised to show their hands after the shooting
The gunman who shot dead a policeman in Paris on Thursday has been identified from papers left in his car, but French officials are yet to release his name.
Local media say the 39-year-old lived in the city's suburbs, and had been seen as a potential Islamist radical.
The gunman also wounded two police officers before he was killed by security forces on the Champs-Elysees.
President Francois Hollande is to chair a security cabinet meeting, as France readies for Sunday's presidential poll.
Mr Hollande said he was convinced the attack was "terrorist-related", adding that the security forces had the full support of the nation and a national tribute would be paid to the fallen policeman.
So-called Islamic State (IS) said one of its "fighters" had carried out the attack.

What happened on Thursday on the Champs-Elysees?

A car pulled up alongside a police bus just before 21:00 (19:00 GMT) and a man got out, opening fire on the bus with an automatic weapon, Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet said.
After killing an officer, the man attempted to run away while shooting at other officers, two of whom he injured, the spokesman added.
He was then shot dead by security forces.

The whole of the Champs-Elysees was evacuated.
Because of its worldwide renown and its large number of visitors, the avenue has long been seen as a potential target, the BBC's Hugh Schofield in Paris reports.
Overnight, a property in the eastern Parisian suburb of Chelles was searched by investigators, who want to know who else - if anyone - may have known about the gunman's plans.

What is known about the attacker?

Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said shortly after the shootings that "the attacker's identity is known and has been verified".
"I won't reveal it, because investigations and raids are already under way, in particular to establish whether there is any evidence or not of complicity (in this attack)," he said, adding that more information would be released on Friday.

According to French media, the attacker served several years in prison for firing on police officers with a gun in the early 2000s.
More recently the intelligence services identified him as a potential Islamist radical.
Meanwhile, IS identified the attacker as Abu-Yusuf al-Baljiki, in a statement carried by its Amaq news outlet.

Could the attack influence the elections?

The 11 candidates standing in Sunday's closely fought presidential election were engaged in a final joint TV appearance to argue their policies as the attack happened.
Marine Le Pen, of the far-right national Front, tweeted: "I feel for and stand by our security forces, who have been targeted again."
Centre-right contender Francois Fillon also went on Twitter to pay "tribute to the security forces who give their lives to protect ours".
Both Ms Le Pen and Mr Fillon later announced they were cancelling campaign events scheduled for Friday, the last day of canvassing for votes.
Independent centrist Emmanuel Macron said during his TV appearance that it was a president's "first duty to protect" and he expressed his "solidarity" with the police.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon, standing for the far left, tweeted: "I strongly feel for the policemen killed and wounded and their families. Terrorist attacks will never go unpunished, accomplices never forgotten."

Analysis by BBC's Europe editor Katya Adler

It would easy to assume that Marine Le Pen - so outspoken about security, migration and Islamic fundamentalism - could benefit at the ballot box.
But anxious voters may turn, instead, to experienced conservative politician and former French Prime Minister Francois Fillon.
Up until now four candidates were almost neck-and-neck in the lead in the polls with millions of voters still undecided about who to vote for.
It's hard to tell to what extent this attack will affect the election outcome, but centrist Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon on the far-left will be all too aware that few see them as foreign and security policy heavyweights.

Islamist militancy is a major issue in the polls after recent mass attacks claimed by IS, with 238 people killed in jihadist attacks in France since 2015, according to data from AFP news agency.

And how did the world react?

At the White House, US President Donald Trump said people had to be strong and vigilant.
"Our condolences from our country to the people of France," he said. "It looks like another terrorist attack and... what can you say? It just never ends."
In the UK, a Downing Street spokesman said: "The UK strongly condemns the appalling terrorist attack in Paris. The Prime Minister (Theresa May) has tonight passed on her condolences to President Hollande."
German Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke of remaining "strong and determined" alongside France.

Russian Subs to Become Indistinguishable From Whales

Russia’s Borei, Yasen nuclear missile submarines and Varshavyanka-class diesel-electric subs will be equipped with noise-dumping plates to make them indistinguishable from whales and orcas, Rossiiskaya Gazeta reported.

“Due to its specific design, they effectively absorb noise of different frequencies and at different depths, thus making it difficult for the submarine to be detected," Alexander Livshits, the CEO of the noise-absorbing plates’ developer, the Cheboksary Production Association, told the newspaper.
The press service of arms maker Techmash, which is part of Rostec Corporation, said that in keeping with a state order, it will be busy producing the state-of-the-art submarine rubber coating for Borei, Yasen and Varshavyanka-class submarines for the next five years.
The recently-floated Kazan nuclear-powered submarine is the first multirole nuclear submarine of the upgraded Project 885M Yasen-M.
It boasts a more streamlined hull and an advanced electronic warfare system that enables the sub to “hear” enemy ships at a distance far exceeding the “listening” range of conventional Yasen subs.
The unique architecture of the Yasen-class submarines makes them stand out from anything Russia had before.
A battery of slanted 533 mm torpedo tubes are not located in the immediate bow as in the previous Akula-class subs, but is moved aft, in close vicinity of eight vertical launchers for Kalibr and Oniks cruise missiles.
A combination of torpedoes and missiles enables the sub to effectively engage a wide range of targets from submarines and stationary land facilities to all types of surface ships. Before very long, the Yasen submarines will also be armed with heat-seeking torpedoes.
Yasen-class submarines will be the first Russian SSNs/SSGNs equipped with a fourth generation nuclear reactor. The reactor has a 25-30-year core life and will not have to be refueled.
Currently under construction at Sevmash shipyards are Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Arkhangelsk and Perm Yasen-class multirole nuclear submarines.
