Crab Mistaken Hairless Vagina For An Oyster! – 28 Years-Old Naked Sunbathing Singaporean Lady’s Private Part Bitten By Crab!

How frequent would you go to a beach for sunbathing?

A 28 years old Singaporean lady who was naked sunbathing with her friends at Changi beach has experienced a bizarre injury where her private part was bitten by a crab. According to Sunday Register, a professional marine biologist has claimed that the crab may have mistaken the lady’s vagina as an oyster, which is part of their natural diet.

The lady who want to take a good opportunity to get a full body tan, has stripped off at the beach while enjoying nude sunbathing with two of her female friends. For your information, nude sunbathe is an illegal act in Singapore. According to both of her friends, despite knowing nude sunbathe is illegal in Singapore, they will still go naked secretly at the beach when there are no other beachgoers at the beach.

One of the girls involved said that, they just fall asleep until their friend, the victim was screaming loudly out of the sudden.

“I was waken up by my friend screaming that something had bitten her, and looking down we were shocked to see a crab hanging off her lower body.”

The lady who was suffering severe pain was helped by her both friends to remove the crab. As both of her female friends worried the crab’s pincer could be poisonous, they were then take turn to suck out the venom from the wound.

“We were both a bit embarrassed because of the location of the injury, but we put that out of our mind to help our friend.”

The Singaporean lady, who had a severe wound on her private part, was then sent to the hospital by the medical team. She is now safe and sound where she is having a full recovery with minimal scarring. The medical team has advised the lady not to go for nude sunbathe in future.

A professional marine biologist has commented on the incident, where he claimed that the “horny” crab has mistaken her genital for an oyster.

“In many ways, both in visual appearance and smell, the female genitals are very similar to oysters and other molluscs. Horn-eyed ghost crabs are usually very shy and don’t approach humans unless threatened, so the obvious conclusion is a case of mistaken identity.”

So now, beachgoers, would you still want to go for a nude sunbathe at the beach?

He did the job once and have the experience to do it again why not

IT’S MAHATHIR FOR ME: DAP MP THE FIRST TO VOICE OUT FAST-GROWING SENTIMENT ON THE GROUND FOR DR M TO BE 7TH PM

While some have argued against working with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad due to his alleged misdeeds during his reign as prime minister, Ipoh Barat MP M Kulasegaran has argued that this should not be the case.

Drawing parallels with former deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim’s defection to the opposition bloc, he said many had argued against working with Anwar in 1998 as well.

“We can find many reasons to justify not working with Mahathir if we want to. Just like we could find many reasons in 1998 if we did not want to accept working with Anwar.

“But time has proven that working with Anwar brought about significant political changes and provided hope for a better Malaysia.

“So if our political agenda today is to save Malaysia, we need to win support of the Malay masses who have been traditional supporters of Umno and BN. And Mahathir is the main person who could help create the Malay tsunami that is required for a political change.

“Opposition supporters must therefore help spread the right message and ensure that all races including the peoples of Sabah and Sarawak will come together in the next general election and save Malaysia,” he said in a statement today.

He claimed that Malaysia would not have a bright future under Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, yet despite this, BN leaders would continue to sing praises of him.

He said Mahathir knows this, and that’s why he had burnt bridges with Umno to join the opposition.

“Mahathir knows very well that the only way to save Malaysia is via people power in the coming general election,” he said.

Puble Announcement - JAIM Will Commence Daily Ops To Make Sure No One Skips Fasting!

JAIM is Melaka’s Religious Department, are looking to run daily operations to make sure no one skips their fasting. In the month of Ramadhan, they wish to make sure that no one commits the crime of eating, smoking or drinking in the public during daytime.

According to JAIM enforcement division operations unit chief Noraminuddin Aziz, five or six JAIM officers will carry out the checking in a schedule on places they suspect to be the “hot spots” for Muslims who decided to skip fasting! Similarly, those who are caught would be given a ticket and later they are required to give JAIM a visit for investigations to happen. The investigations will be held under the code of Syariah Offences, one for selling and eating food during Ramadhan.

Muslims who are found consuming anything: which includes eating or drinking in public places can also be prosecuted with a maximum fine of RM1,000 or imprisonment up to six months, or both. As for the offence of smoking tobacco or cigarettes during the day, they will be fined up to RM500 or jailed up to three months.

For now, he wants cooperation from food oulets to not sell food too early during Ramadhan as this would tempt them to eat. He said he doesn’t want non-fasting Muslims to disrespect others who are fasting during the month.

I mean, sure, I guess.

Young Indonesian Girl Hit By Motorbike, Irresponsible Rider Threw Money At Her And Escaped

Animals can be found everywhere riding motorcycles driving cars driving buses etc.....

Recently, a grade six student was rushed to the hospital in Serangan, Denpasar after getting knocked on by a motorcyclist. But before the motorbike driver rushed off and fled the scene, he apparently ‘helped’ and threw money at the kid, who was thrashing in pain.

The victim, named Selfiani Yuningsih suffered injuries after the horrifying accident. The young girl’s leg was injured so badly that the bone was visible, says her father, Wayan Miasa.

According to her father, his daughter was still in her scholl attire when the accident happened. The poor kid was heading to her friend’s house on foot after school finished. That was when she got hit by the careless motorcyclist!

“It was a hit and run. My daughter did not know the number of the motorcycle plate. At the time (of the accident) I was at work. From what my daughter says, the perp threw Rp 100k( RM32) at her, telling her to buy medicine.”, said the victim’s father.

Woah.. Like seriously though? What made him think that RM32 would be enough for what he did? RM32 can just heal the poor girl? No comments.

While the victim’s father is grateful that his daughter is going to be okay, he’s not surprisingly “disappointed” that the irresponsible motorbike rider simply drove off.

Failing to stop after an accident, whether or not someone is hurt or property is damaged, is a criminal offense. Looks like, heartless people like this dude will only learn once they become a victim of hit and run accident.

MALAYSIA: Top Malay Actress Apologises After Video Of Flashing Her Boobs Goes Viral

Many were triggered after discovering a viral video which showed one of Malaysians top actress’s, Izara Aishah, ‘displaying’ her side boobs at a red carpet event.

Why the sudden spark of fire, you ask? Well, according to a source, that was an old video of hers that was reuploaded by a Facebook page, Amran Fans. Though frankly, she looked awesome in it, the fact that she is a Muslim and she wore such a revealing outfit, this left netizens in anger.

They thought she had gone overboard and had forgotten her roots.

Below is the video that sparked controversy among the community:

Obviously, there were more fans and random netizens who condemned and insulted the actress on her social media sites. However, it was also noted that they were some who still gave the lady support once she publicly apologised for her ignorant choice of outfit.

On top of that, she also begged the critiques to not bring up her ‘soiled’ past anymore. This was the statement that she left on Facebook:

According to her, she has already made the public apology before and ever since Izara has never worn any outfit that was alike to that. She also mentions that with God’s grace she will be getting married soon. However, right after her marriage announcement earlier this year, that old video crept back up.

It’s almost as if it was done on purpose. Izara also mentions that she has already forgiven those who have had tried to taint back her image and hopes there will not be any similar situations in the future.

Well, what I can say is kudos to you, my dear. For standing up for yourself, for your future marriage and for your ability to get back on the right track.

Materialistic Or Just An Addict? – 20 Years-Old Malaysian Teen Spent More Than RM100K On Plastic Surgeries To Get Men’s Attention!

Plastic surgery is not longer a priority for disfigured patients, it has become a trend for people to “beautify” themselves.

According to Moretify, a 20 years old Malaysian teen, Pei Pei Seow posted a status which made netizens felt ridiculed by her on Facebook. Most of the netizens were sharing the same thought where they think she is not only encouraging the culture of plastic surgeries but also proudly showing off her gold-digger mindset.

“If you are not willing to spend money on yourself, why do you think men will be willing to spend on you?”

The status was posted up with a picture of her confident outlook and her gold-digger mindset has gained the attentions of male netizens.

In her status, she stated that she did not want to do plastic surgeries but men and the society forced her to do so. She stated that men are materialistic, if a girl does not have a gorgeous outlook, men would not want to know or even care about her, let alone getting to know one’s inner beauty too.

Hence why she decided to spend more than RM 100,000 to “beautify” herself as the ‘model’ she wanted to be. She probably went through a bad relationship before she had her plastic surgeries huh!

Seow even admitted that she has done plastic surgeries on her face for more than 20 times at the age of 19. Girl, I salute for your courage to make such a big decision at your young age. Have you ever thought about the consequences and how are you going to deal with the side-effects in the future?

The male netizens have commented under the post stating that she do not understand men because not all men are materialistic. There are men who are finding their true love despite the girl’s appearance.

Even though men would love the artificial beauty at first, but still it is not real! Soon, they will get bored with the fake boobs as well as the fake body figures, and will eventually, look for a “natural” beauty.

Some even stated that there are rich men who do not like artificial beauties too. Hence, the plastic surgeries she has done are not meant for men, and the status she posted is just looking for a good “excuse” to follow the plastic surgeries trend.

She has then revealed the reason why she went for plastic surgeries later on Facebook. Seow stated that she would like to thank her ex-boyfriend who hurt her with a pretty third wheeler. She said, she is now richer and prettier than her and she would not want to see him anymore.

These are the comparison pictures posted by Seow. I personally think that she is not that ugly to the point where she needs plastic surgeries but probably could put some effort to shed some weight.

To be frank, her story reminds me the incident of The Snake Girl in China who has done her plastic surgeries at young age too. And they actually looked alike after the “Beautifying” procedures.

Hmmm.. so now what do you think about plastic surgeries? Does it really help people to gain their confidence or is it contributing a bad culture in the society?

HOLD FAST When is Ramadan 2017, why do Muslims fast throughout the holy month and how else is the festival marked?

The religious festival involves Muslims refraining from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk

By Becky Pemberton 26th May 2017,

MILLIONS of Muslims are preparing for Ramadan, a holy month of fasting and religious devotion that starts this weekend.

The festival falls in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, beginning this month – but what is it and why does the start date vary from year to year?

Ramadan starts in May and marks the start of a month of fasting and religious devotion
When is Ramadan 2017?

This year Ramadan will start on May 27 and will finish on June 24, both Saturdays.

Following this, Muslims will celebrate Eid al-Fitr which is often known as just Eid.

The Eid celebration, which is to be held on June 25, marks the end of the Ramadan fasting and the start of the next month, Shawwal.

Dedicated Muslims will refrain from eating or drinking from dawn to dusk
How is Ramadan celebrated?

Ramadan is considered a time for intense prayer and religious devotion, with Muslims encouraged to observe five daily prayers throughout the day.

Many will recite the Quran just before sunset and the start of their feasting.

Often people will donate money to charity during Ramadan and help to feed the hungry.

And Muslims will also take the time to cut down on other vices such as gossiping, swearing and fighting.

Married couples refrain from sexual intercourse during the day.

Children don’t have to take part in the fast, along with the elderly or sick
Why do Muslims fast during Ramadan?

During Ramadan, Muslims practice sawm, or fasting, from dawn to dusk but are able to enjoy feasts in the evening.

Dedicated Muslims will refrain from eating or drinking throughout the entire day, with a single puff of a cigarette or sip of water considered enough to invalidate their efforts.

The period is intended to bring religious followers closer to God and to remind them of people who are less fortunate.

The period is intended to bring religious followers closer to God
Can Muslims be exempt from fasting during Ramadan?

There are a few groups that don’t have to follow the strict fasting during the month.

These include children, the sick, the elderly and women who are either pregnant or on their period.

Typically those who have reached puberty or are around the age of 14 or upwards, will take part.

There are other special circumstances that can see people let off, such as athletes competing in a tournament or during periods of travel.

Muslims are able to eat after sunset, with many flocking to mosques to celebrate together with communal meals
Why do the dates of Ramadan change each year?

The Islamic calendar is different from the widely-used Gregorian calendar.

It is based on the moon’s cycle, whereas the Gregorian one is determined by the sun.

As the two don’t align, the Islamic dates move back by 11 days each year.

10 Common Habits That Seriously Damage Your Kidneys

By Amy Goodrich

Posted Friday, August 15, 2014 at 04:52pm EDT

Keywords: kidney damage, kidney damaging habits, kidney failure, kidney health, kidney stones
Our kidneys are super important for our health. They filter our blood, produce hormones, absorb minerals, produce urine, eliminate toxins, and neutralize acids. So as one of the most important organs in your body, your kidneys deserve some love.

Damage or steady decline of your kidneys can often go unnoticed for years as your kidneys can still do their job with as little as 20% of their capacity. Therefore kidney diseases are often referred to as “The Silent Diseases”. That’s why it is so important to take care of them before it is too late.

Here’s a list of 10 common habits that put a lot of pressure on your kidneys and can cause serious damage over time.

1.    Not Drinking Enough Water

Your kidney’s most important function is to filter blood and eliminate toxins and waste materials. When you don’t drink enough plain water during the day toxins and waste material start to accumulate and can cause severe damage to your body.

2.    Too Much Salt In Your Diet

Your body needs sodium or salt to work properly. Most people however consume too much salt which may raise blood pressure and put a lot of stress on the kidneys. As a good rule of thumb, no more than 5 grams of salt should be eaten on a daily basis.

3.    Frequently Delaying The Call Of Nature

Many of us ignore the urge to go because they are too busy or want to avoid public bathrooms. Retaining urine on a regular basis increases urine pressure and can lead to kidney failure, kidney stones, and incontinence. So listen to your body when nature calls.

4.    Kick The Sugar Habit

Scientific studies show that people who consume 2 or more sugary drinks a day are more likely to have protein in their urine. Having protein in your urine is an early sign your kidneys are not doing their job as they should.

5.    Vitamin And Mineral Deficiencies

Eating a clean, whole food diet full of fresh vegetables and fruits is important for your overall health and a good kidney function. Many deficiencies can increase the risk of kidney stones or kidney failure. Vitamin B6 and magnesium, for instance, are super important to reduce the risk of kidney stones.

An estimated 70 to 80 percent of Americans isn’t getting enough magnesium, so there may be a good chance that you are one of them. Click here to learn more about magnesium deficiencies.

6.    Too Much Animal Protein

Over consumption of protein, especially red meat, increases the metabolic load on your kidneys. So more protein in your diet means your kidneys have to work harder and this can lead to kidney damage or dysfunction over time.

7.    Sleep Deprivation

We have all heard how important it is to get a good night’s rest. Chronic sleep deprivation is linked to many diseases and kidney diseases are also on the list. During the night your body repairs damaged kidney tissue, so give your body the time to heal and repair itself.

8.    Coffee Habit

Just as salt, caffeine can raise blood pressure and put extra stress on your kidneys. Over time excessive consumption of coffee can cause damage to your kidneys.

9.    Painkiller Abuse

Way too many people take painkillers for their small aches and pains, while there are many all-natural, safe remedies available. Excessive use or painkiller abuse can lead to severe damage of liver and kidneys.

10.  Alcohol Consumption

Although there is nothing wrong with enjoying a glass of wine or having a beer once in a while, most of us don’t stop after just one drink. Alcohol is actually a legal toxin that puts a lot of stress on our kidneys and liver.

To stay healthy and avoid kidney issues it is important to eat lots of fresh, whole foods and if you keep the above information in mind and avoid these common habits as much as possible, your kidneys will not be under constant stress and your body will thank you for that.

Play with Trump and cheat him you pay the cost

Trump also said that NATO should pay more for US troops and equipment stationed in Europe to protect European borders.

Yesterday in Europe, NATO and the EU were quite shocked when Trump repeated this same message. Here is the New York Times :

In NATO Speech, Trump Is Vague About Mutual Defense Pledge

President Trump on Thurs punctured any illusions he was fence-mending in Europe
declining to explicitly endorse NATO’s mutual defense pledge
lashing out at NATO for “chronic underpayments” to alliance

tense day when Trump brought “America first” to very heart of Europe
European leaders visibly unsettled
some openly lamenting divisions with US on trade, climate, Russia.

discord palpable in body language
Trump greeted Macron grabbed hands, jaws clenched
Trump push aside Montenegro PM to get to his assigned place in front

split starkest at NATO hq
Trump lectured allies on financial contributions
Trump repeated complaint US was shouldering unfair burden

"23 of 28 member nations not paying what they should be paying” Trump declared

“not fair to the people and taxpayers of the US” he added.

“And many of these nations owe massive amounts of money from past years”

Trump said NATO members must "finally contribute" fair share to defense
“not fair to the people and taxpayers of US .."

Earlier Trump, a critic of EU during campaign, received chilly reception in Brussels

In talks Trump differed over intentions and policies of Putin of Russia

My comments :  Trump appears to be against war. Or at least he does not want the US to fight more wars.

This makes Trump an Enemy of the Military Industrial Complex. The Military Industrial Complex is too powerful. They need to sell their weapons. This means they need war.

To make war profits, they need profitable enemies. Russia can be a profitable enemy. But Trump does not wish to make enemies of Russia and Vladimir Putin.

This makes the Military Industrial Complex very unhappy with Trump. They may even "take him out".  Just like what happened to John F Kennedy 54 years ago.

And now Trump does not want to pay more than his fair share of NATO's Budget.  Meaning less weapons purchases from the Military Industrial Complex.

But Trump is a 'deal maker'. The Art Of The Deal. How to make the Military Industrial Complex happy AND cut military spending at the same time.

Trump's insistence that NATO members pay up their share of NATO's defense budget means that there will still be weapons purchases from the Military Industrial Complex. A lot of NATO countries use American made weapons.

The US will pay less, NATO will pay more but the weapons will still get bought.

Then Trump has cut a deal with Saudi Arabia. Trump's Special Advisor and son-in-law Jared Kuschner (who is a Jew, without intending any offense) put together that US$110 BILLION defense deal with Saudi Arabia.

Trump has told the Saudis and the Islamic countries that the US will not be coming to their aid or their defense anymore. "You can settle your own problems" he told them point blank.

BUT (this is a big BUT) the US will sell the Saudis all the weapons they need.

This keeps the Military Industrial Complex happy. They still get to sell their weapons. US$110 BILLION worth.

My guess is the US will soon loosen up on weapons exports to other countries. Whoever would like to buy an M1 Abrams tank, maybe you will get a chance to do it sometime.

As Predicted, New "Peace Process" Sparks Massive Salafi Violence In Pihilippines
Hi folks. Been occupied with plenty other things for the past  six days. Almost back to normal now. New responsibilities and new directions have come up which will require more time. Its all about time. What we do with our 24 hours.

Anyway, please recall that just a few weeks ago I predicted that there will be an outbreak of violence in Mindanao and possible Sabah. Well it has happened. As you read this, fierce firefights are still going on in Marawi City in Mindanao. The ISIS inspired Maute terrorists are still shooting against Philippine government forces. Here is the news :

Link : https://youtu.be/JX8Ah4QjWfI

Philippines army rescues 78 hostages, kills 13 ISIS-linked terrorists – military

7 soldiers and police killed in Marawi
operation to rescue dozens of hostages held by IS terrorists

5 soldiers and 2 policemen killed in clashes with militants since Tuesday

army kill 13 gunmen of IS-affiliated Maute group
overran local clinic, taking hostages, occupying Marawi City Hall

forces rescued 78 civilians from Medical Center
terrorists tried to use them as human shields
troops secured 42 teachers trapped at Dansalan College
31 soldiers wounded in rescue attempt

Tues night, Duterte placed entire Mindanao under martial law for 60 days
after battles between govt and Maute in Marawi escalated

Duterte forced to cut short his trip to Russia to tackle terrorist insurgency

“Anyone now holding a gun, confronting the government with violence, my orders are spare no one, let us solve the problems of Mindanao once and for all," Duterte said Wednesday.

“If I think you should die, you will die. If you fight us, you will die. If there's an open defiance, you will die, and if it means many people dying, so be it. That's how it is,” he added.

Duterte will not hesitate to declare martial law throughout entire country
in event Maute and ISIS terrorists seek sanctuary in Visayas and Mindanao,” Duterte

“I will not allow the country to go to the dogs. As I said, the military has the primary role now of keeping the law and order situation and in all parts of the Republic of the Philippines,” the president said.

Philippines leader promised to resign if incapable of maintaining peace in his country

“As president, if I cannot confront them, I will resign,” Duterte said. “If I am incompetent and incapable of keeping order in this country, let me step down and give the job to somebody else.”

My comments :   The muddling Peace Process in Mindanao facilitated by Malaysia for the past 25 years or more has gone nowhere. Now with the election of Duterte, Malaysia has no role to play at all.

So the Moro guys did the next best thing - they took their troubles to Saudi Arabia. Not all of them. Just two factions. Other factions were left out.

This is the  result.  The factions that were left out from Saudi Arabia have decided to attack Marawi City. The attack and holding ground (they occupied city hall, the hospital, schools and other buildings) was purely a show of force. They have no plans of permanently "liberating" any part of Mindanao from the Philippines.

This is just a statement that 'We are still here. You will have to deal with us".

It means money. They want money.

The no nonsense Duterte has decided to take the more aggressive approach.

If you decide to go to war, its all about firepower.

There is always a price to pay for foolishness.

Who is the fool and how big a price will they pay?

From OutSyed The Box Blog - Koon Yew Yin : Opposition Grand Coalition Can KO Barisan

For those of you who do not know him, Mr Koon Yew Yin is Malaysia's version of Warren Buffet.

Warren Buffet was once the richest man in the US. He is still among the Top 3 beside Bill Gates and one more.  Warren Buffet is a savvy stock market investor in the US.

Koon Yew Yin is also a very successful stock market investor with a networth that runs into the hundreds of millions of Ringgit (or more).

I saw him in person yesterday at an event at Hotel Istana. Despite being a multi-millionaire (if not a billionaire) Mr Koon arrived by LRT.

Mr Koon also writes a blog and makes very frank and honest comments about things.

Today he has written about the Barisan Nasional's imminent demise at the next general elections.

Opposition Grand Coalition Can KO Barisan

According to news report on the celebration of UMNO’s 71 anniversary, Prime Minister Najib has teased the UMNO supporters by asking if he should dissolve Parliament as early as the next day.

Well, some observers see it as a sign that he is very confident of a victory and that he may call for an election soon.

However, there are two sayings which he needs to be reminded.

One is the old saying – “Pride goes before a fall”

The other is a quote attributed to Harold Washington, the first African-American elected as Mayor of Chicago. “Let’s not be overconfident, we still have to count the votes.”

BN sponsored analysts who dominate the official media have been saying that BN has more than the required number of votes to win the next election by a comfortable margin. In fact, some are so confident that they are assuring BN of a more than two thirds majority. Because these analysts are tied to the BN money machine, this message of a big BN victory will be drummed into our heads for the next few months.

But is this big BN victory a sure thing?

Going by my knowledge of politics in Ipoh and Perak, I wish to differ.

Tide Turning Against BN

In Perak, most voters have not forgotten that power was stolen from Pakatan by the BN through unconstitutional means by Najib with the assistance of the present MB Zambry.

In the next election, many voters will want to correct the injustice and vote for the opposition.

Included in this group will be most of the civil servants as well as Felda settlers who have been regarded as UMNO’s and BN’s vote banks.

To some extent these voters have also been PAS’s vote banks.

But will the Malay civil servants and Felda settlers continue to allow themselves to be swayed by racial and religious politics; and vote with their hearts rather than with their heads in the next election.

Or will they realize that both UMNO and PAS have let them down badly and are not worth the support that the two parties have been provided with during the past 50 years and more.

Today, everyone except for the elite are suffering from a socio-economic crisis arising from the mismanagement of the economy and pervasive corruption. Food is more expensive, transport prices have soared, education costs have escalated.

According to Ceupacs President, Azih Muda, civil servants have ended up heavily in debt to manage rising living costs, to the point that more than 60,000 of them risk bankruptcy.

“This is a direct effect of the hike in cost of living. Civil servants end up taking up a lot of loans and this is unsustainable and they are unable to manage their finances,” Azih told the foreign news agency Reuters.

Of course, this report was not carried in the mainstream Malay media. Neither have been the numerous reports on the financial mess that UMNO leaders have inflicted on Feilda settlers through the launch of Felda Global Ventures Berhad.

The plight of civil servants and Felda settlers was totally ignored by UMNO during its lavish anniversary celebrations.

Correction: it was not ignored because UMNO dished out freebies such as sweets, candies, biscuits, and Gardenia sponge cakes. Big show but pathetic deal which has gone viral.

I am sure the opposition parties will be using the images of these UMNO freebies in contrast to the 1MDB and other goodies spread the Prime Minister to show around the kampungs when election time comes around.

This publicity stunt by UMNO that it is taking care of Malay welfare is so brainless that I am surprised that it was agreed to by Najib and his team. But then at the same time I am not surprised. It shows the level of disrespect and contempt that UMNO’s leadership has for its grassroots.

Throw them a few goodies and they will be satisfied seems to be the UMNO message.

This time though I am sure the revolt of the Malay masses will take place. And when this revolt led by the civil servants and Felda settlers happens at the polling booth, a new page in our nation’s history will be reached.

Battle for Change Led by Dr. Mahathir

Fittingly, the battle for change will be led by Dr. Mahathir. Several weeks ago, I attended a Parti Pribumi Bersatu meeting at Padang Rengas, Kuala Kangsar where I took the opportunity to renew my friendship with him and gave him a copy of my book,” Road Map for Achieving Vision 2020” which was partly inspired by Dr. Mahathir’s vision for our nation’s future. Dr Mahathir was my business partner before he became the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the function organised by Parti Satu, mostly ex-UMNO members, attended the function.

It is not only the Malay masses who will push for change. Today we have a new opposition coalition which will operate as a single entity against Barisan Nasional. Featuring PPBM, DAP, PKR and Parti Amanah Negara as its component members, the opposition coalition will also include East Malaysian parties. This is an unprecedented grand coalition of Malaysian anti-BN voters which in my opinion can bring about the biggest upset in our political history once it gets its act together.

In the last GE, the opposition secured more than 51 percent of the total votes, but in terms of state and parliamentary seats, the opposition had less than BN because of the gerrymandering.

Although the gerrymandering will continue during the next elections, the significant difference is that Dr. Mahathir’s new party under Tan Sri Muhyiddin will be competing for Malay votes in the small towns and villages.

I believe too that PAS is deeply divided under President Hadi Awang, who is presently very sick and unable to exert much influence. Once it becomes clear that the new grand opposition coalition will win, I expect many Pas leaders and voters to join the opposition and leave BN, the sinking boat.

My comments :  When will the elections be held?  Its all about making people feel good.

There will be a hype up over Bulan Puasa from May 27 till about June 26th.

The Civil Servants will be treated to makan tak habis type 'gomen sponsored' Buka Puasa.  Make them feel 'kenyang'.

The stock market may see a Ramadhan Rally - to make the Chinese happy as well. There are few or no more Malay investors ("punters")  in the Stock Market.

There will be a big boost up over Hari Raya (June 26th).  Possibly PLUS will be told to give huge Toll Discounts over the Hari Raya holidays. (Of course they can claim it back from the gomen).

Throughout July,  after Hari Raya,  there will be one month of Syawal Open Houses (from June 26 till July 25th)  to make the Civil Servants happy.   This year will see an overflow of feasting in the Month of Syawal at Minister's and Ministry 'open houses'.

Come August, there will be more "feel good" for the 60th Merdeka Celebrations. It will be one month of flag waving, chest thumping and butt kissing.

The SEA Games will also be held around this time (19th - 20th August). More opportunities to pump up the "feel good".

The "feel good" will peak at the Budget 2018 which will be tabled in October. Many goodies will be given out,  taxes cut,  taxes and duties on cars will be cut (since Proton has been sold to Geely) causing a significant drop in car prices (thank you in advance).

Since "feel good" is very expensive and the "feel good" can disappear very quickly without money, they will likely dissolve Parliament just after the October Budget.

Time is not on their side. As more time passes, things are getting worse for the Malays. The Elders talked about seeing a Malay family of five eating white rice and sharing two pieces of chicken.

Another huge reason to build the wall: Mexican officials threatens to unleash drug cartels into the USA to punish Trump

In recent weeks a “new patriotism” has swept the country of Mexico, or at least, that’s what the discredited ‘mainstream media’ would have you believe.

Agence France Press ran a story a few days ago that is long on claims and short on facts. For instance, the story claimed that Mexicans:

— Are angry about President Donald Trump’s insistence that their country pay for the border wall;

— Are set in mass numbers to boycott American products and brands (the story mentioned three: Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Coca-Cola);

— Are using pro-Mexico hashtags all over social media.

The story appears to be the latest attempt by the media to make Mexico appear as though it is being victimized by the Trump administration and has to “fight back.” But the reality is just the opposite, as usual. (RELATED: How is the media failing you today? Discover the truth at MediaFactWatch.com)

As reported by SHTFPlan.com, if anyone should be worried, it’s Americans, making it even more necessary than ever to have that border wall Trump has set in motion.

Much of Mexico is ungovernable, and that is due in large part to the heavy presence and influence of the country’s large and dangerous drug cartels. Many of them wield more firepower than many Mexican army units and they have more cash at their disposal than entire states. One former Mexican foreign affairs secretary, Jorge Castañeda Gutman, has all but threatened they would be unleashed on the American public if Trump doesn’t back down from his pledges.

In an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, an accused serial plagiarist, Gutman hinted that his country’s so-called drug enforcement assistance to the U.S. might not only be pulled, but the cartels might actually be turned on our country.

“Mexico has a lot of negotiating chips in this matter, Fareed, but it also has measures we could take in other areas,” he said, as quoted by STHFPlan.com. “For example, the drugs that come through Mexico from South America, or the drugs that are produced here in Mexico all go to the United States. This is not our problem. We have been cooperating with the United States for many years on these issues because they’ve asked us to and because we have a friendly, trustful relationship. If that relationship disappears, the reasons for cooperation also disappear.”

Did Gutman just threaten to export Mexico’s drug violence to the United States, as it has been exporting its poverty and criminals for decades? Some would certainly view it as a threat, and they’d be right.

There’s little question that the Mexican government has long been infested with officials and mid-level careerists who are owned and operated by the cartels. Graft and corruption is rampant in Mexico. The Los Angeles Times reported in 2008 that then-Mexican President Felipe Calderon said his government was making a bit of progress in battling the cartels but “that graft remained a threat to the nation’s efforts against crime.”

The paper noted further:

Mexico has long been rife with corruption, which ranges from the small bribes that motorists pay traffic officers to the suitcases of cash that drug traffickers have delivered to law enforcement authorities. Ordinary Mexicans routinely pay bribes to get telephone service, loans, and even parking spaces.

Little changed in the ensuing years, except maybe that cartel violence only got worse. As Breitbart reported in December 2015, that year was “filled with drug violence, controversy, and crime.” In fact, rather than see decreases, “the country has begun to see escalating violence in places previously untouched.” (RELATED: Keep up with all of the threats to American society at Collapse.news)

Drug cartels regularly gun down scores of rivals, kill local officials who refuse to be bribed, behead victims, and fill mass graves. And now, at least one former Mexican official wants to see the same thing happen in American cities.

It’s not hard to understand why Mexican officials are petrified that the Trump administration is going to make good on its promises to build a wall (on Mexico’s peso), and crack down on border security: Once those two things happen, it will be much more difficult for the country to export it’s social ills.

But given Gutman’s not-so-veiled warning, it’s just further justification for Trump to keep his campaign promise to keep Americans safe.

Here’s how Republican leaders are lying to you about claims they cannot fully “repeal and replace” Obamacare

Here’s how Republican leaders are lying to you about claims they cannot fully “repeal and replace” Obamacare

(Natural News) Despite the mandate voters gave congressional Republicans to repeal and replace Obamacare, some GOP leaders, especially in the Senate, are getting cold feet. As such, they are now playing politics, and frankly, that’s not going to sit well with President Donald J. Trump, who also ran on the “repeal and replace Obamacare” platform.

In comments to CNN that were reported by The Hill, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., used language like “repair” Obamacare, because he and other GOP leaders are more concerned about the optics of repeal than they are about actually doing the right thing for the country.

As such, Johnson and others are now making excuses as to why they cannot just repeal the law as they promised.

“I think more and more people are, as they’re starting to take a look at the daunting task of how do you start repairing the damage of ObamaCare, realizing it’s not particularly easy,” he said, adding that Republicans will now have to work with Democrats to get any repeal done because of the Senate’s 60-vote filibuster threshold.

In a word, Johnson is lying. There’s just no diplomatic way of saying this.

To prove it, we need to remember how the Democratic majority passed Obamacare in the first place. So let’s review: They did it through the budget reconciliation process. (RELATED: What new threats to your freedoms and liberties are they passing today? Find out at BigGovernment.news)

What’s that? As noted by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, the process comes from the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, which “allows for expedited consideration of certain tax, spending, and debt limit legislation.”

Since lawmakers never wanted partisan politics to hold up the process of paying the country’s bills, budget measures require only simple majorities in both chambers of Congress to pass; this means that in the Senate, budget reconciliation bills are not subject to the filibuster rule, requiring 60 votes to pass.

As the CBPP notes:

The Congressional Budget Act permits using reconciliation for legislation that changes spending, revenues, and the federal debt limit.  On the spending side, reconciliation can be used to address “mandatory” or entitlement spending — that is, programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, federal civilian and military retirement, SNAP (formerly known as food stamps), and farm programs — but not Social Security.  Mandatory spending is determined by rules set in ongoing authorizing laws, so changing spending usually requires amending those laws.  Reconciliation has not been used to change “discretionary” spending, which is spending controlled through the annual appropriations process. [Emphasis added]

There’s more. Since midway through the Reagan administration, rules of the Senate have not allowed the inclusion of measures in reconciliation bills that change the level of spending, revenues or the debt limit. This is important to note, because though Obamacare mandated additional spending (primarily in the form of subsidies – which are provided via Medicaid), the law also included several tax increases to cover the additional costs. So, theoretically then, the law did not change the spending levels or revenues, and never addressed the debt limit.

So, for Johnson and others to now claim that the Republican congressional majority can’t fully repeal and replace Obamacare in exactly the same way that Democrats passed it – by making Obamacare part of the federal budget – is utter nonsense. Some Senate Republicans, including Johnson, are now claiming that the Senate parliamentarian, a federal bureaucrat whose job it is to know the chamber’s rules, says it would take the 60 votes necessary to overcome the filibuster rule, but as we’ve demonstrated, that’s nothing but political smoke.

If the Senate parliamentarian allowed Obamacare to be part of budget reconciliation in order to become reality in the first place, there is no rule the parliamentarian can cite now that would prevent its repeal.

So why are Republicans getting cold feet? Simple: The optics of repeal. The establishment media and Democrats are waiting to pounce on them for “taking away healthcare coverage from poor, suffering Americans,” and the GOP leadership doesn’t want to put itself in that position. It’s the same reason that no other entitlements have been repealed once they’ve been passed. (RELATED: How are they fooling you today? Find out at Disinfo.news)

Fine. But there are proposals on the table that will allow changes to be phased in gradually, in steps that would accomplish the overarching goal of repealing and replacing Obamacare. These measures could – and frankly should – take a few years to enact, giving Americans and the healthcare industry time to respond and adjust to them.

But claiming that repeal “can’t be done” by the GOP majority alone is not only dishonest, but is also a means of justifying inaction on a law that is literally breaking health insurers and average Americans, financially speaking.

Obamacare must go. The Republicans (and Trump) promised. They don’t need the Democrats to do it. Time to deliver.

US: Muslim Man Sues Little Caesars Over Pork Pizza Labelled 'Halal'

IANS, 26 May, 2017

A Muslim man who says Little Caesars served him a pizza with pepperoni made with pork has filed a lawsuit seeking $100 million.

The Detroit Free Press reports the lawsuit filed Thursday in Wayne County Circuit Court says the pizza sold in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn was labeled “halal,” meaning it shouldn’t contain pork and would be prepared in a way that follows Islamic law.

A Little Caesars statement says the chain “cherishes our customers from all religions and cultures” and believes the lawsuit is “without merit.”

The lawsuit seeks class-action status. It says Mohamad Bazzi twice ordered “halal” pizza containing pork.

His attorney, Majed Moughni, says the lawsuit aims to deter others from accidentally ordering food containing pork from the restaurant. Dearborn has a large Muslim population.

Indian Boy Does The Unimaginable, Invents 'unique Shoe' For Women To Keep Rapists Away
Studying seriously at school paid off for a 17-year-old boy as the concepts of physics helped this high school graduate design a special shoe for women's safety.

Brushing his physics lessons and learning a few basic coding skills, Siddharth Mandala, designed an 'ElectroShoe' – a special product for women, which when used can allow them to electrocute perpetrators of crimes.

This aspiring tech entrepreneur, says that this product can help women foil a rape attempt.

As per a report published in indiatimes.com, the shoe inflicts 0.1amp electricity and also sends out an alert for assistance to cops and family members.

The shoe was created using a unique circuit board that uses footsteps to charge itself with the help of a concept called the "piezoelectric effect".

The more the user walks, the more energy is generated and stored in a rechargeable battery.

Users only need to make sure that the battery is sufficiently charged and when the shoe comes in contact with the attacker's body, he will electrocuted.

The young entrepreneur was quoted saying as he was inspired to create the self-defence device for women, post the 2012 Delhi gangrape incident.

PH leaders confident of defeating bigotry in march to Putrajaya

Pakatan Harapan is ready to battle the toxic bigotry Umno is certain to call up in the run-up to the polls. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, May 27, 2017.

AS sure as night follows day, Pakatan Harapan (PH) is certain toxic bigotry will be a big part of Umno's arsenal in the run-up to the polls.

As a coalition that includes the Chinese-majority DAP, PH knows it is vital to persuade Malay voters that it will protect Muslim-Malay interests if it wins control of Putrajaya.

For a start, PH leaders believe the greater prominence of its two newest members – Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and PAS splinter party Amanah – is helping to blunt attacks that the coalition is led by DAP.

“Malays can see an Islamist party and a Malay party as components in a coalition that stands for good governance and reformist politics,” said Amanah communications director Khalid Samad.

However, said the Shah Alam MP, the challenge is explaining this without coming off like "Malay nationalists or religious extremists.”

The bogeyman

Despite Khalid's confidence, it will not be a walk in the park convincing the ground that Malay political power will be safe in the hands of a PH government.

The impression civil servant Kamarul Salleh has of PH reflects the corrosive influence of Umno’s brand of racism on the Malay electorate.

Kamarul feels the pinch of rising prices for groceries and knows the country is in trouble, but is unsure whether he can trust the opposition with federal power.

“They say that if you vote for PH, it is a vote for DAP. DAP runs PH because it has the most parliamentary seats,” he said.

He was referring to the 37 seats DAP holds, compared with PH components PKR’s 29 and Amanah’s six. Bersatu has one.

“So it can dominate PH because PKR does not have many seats and neither do the other parties,” he said recently in Shah Alam.

Kamarul’s aversion to PH is rooted in the age-old fear Muslim Malays have of DAP –  that as a secular party, it will remove Islam as the religion of the federation and end affirmative action policies for the Bumiputera.

This is despite DAP’s constant pledge to uphold Islam as the religion of the federation as well as the Malay privileges enshrined in Article 153 of the Federal Constitution.

Analysts such as Prof Redzuan Othman predicts that as the campaign heats up for the general election, racial rhetoric will be dialled up to divert the attention of voters like Kamarul from more pressing issues such as inflation.

For instance, the current brickbat wielded by Umno leaders is that the real PH leader and eventual opposition prime minister is DAP national chairman Lim Kit Siang.

Studies by think tanks such as Merdeka Center show that such provocation does work, particularly with rural Muslim Malays, whose votes hold the key to Putrajaya.

“Among all countries in this region, Malaysians have consistently voted along communal lines for as long as we’ve had elections,” said  Merdeka Center executive director Ibrahim Suffian.

For Muslim Malays, Umno and PAS have been the only viable political parties simply because they have been around for more than five decades and because they are communal. One represents race and the other, religion.

“So when Malays want to show their anger at Umno, they choose PAS,” said Ibrahim.

And even though Bersatu has the legendary Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Ibrahim said the data did not show that it had gained the trust of Muslim Malays like Umno or PAS had.

The alliance with DAP has also tainted Dr Mahathir’s credentials as a Muslim Malay leader, said Ibrahim.

Debating racism

Bersatu leaders claim they are up to the challenge of explaining the party’s ties with the DAP.

Shukur Mohamad of Batu Pahat regularly holds ceramah and dialogues with Johor’s Muslim Malays, who are arguably the country’s most loyal Umno supporters.

“I explain to Malays how the parliamentary seat argument is flawed. If an Umno MP is defeated, he is defeated by another Malay MP from either Amanah, Bersatu or PKR, because an Umno candidate is always challenged by  another Malay candidate.” said Shukur, who campaigns in Sri Gading, a seat that Umno won by a 5,761 vote majority in 2013.

“So I tell them, the more Amanah or Bersatu candidates win, the more Malay MPs you will get in Pakatan, and that Pakatan can only come to power with lots of Malay MPs.”

The logic, he claimed, is gradually sinking in as evidenced by the better turnouts for Bersatu programmes in Johor’s Malay heartlands such as Mersing and Kota Tinggi, places that even PAS used to be chased out of.

The trick, says another Johor Bersatu leader, Mazlan Bujang, is to have smaller interactive sessions so that the Muslim-Malay audience can debate and ask questions.

“In order to deal with racist views, you have to show how their logic is flawed. It cannot be just a ceramah where the communication is one-way,” said Mazlan, who is Tebrau Bersatu chief.

“My approach is dialogue so that they can reply to me and I can counter their arguments. Only then do they see how their logic is wrong,” said Mazlan, who claimed that he had registered more than 2,000 new Bersatu members through such dialogue sessions. – May 27, 2017.

Egypt launches air raids on Libya after Christians killed

 May 27, 2017 by editor

EGYPT, May 27: Egyptian fighter jets carried out strikes on Friday directed at camps in Libya which Cairo says have been training militants who killed dozens of Christians earlier in the day.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said he had ordered strikes against what he called terrorist camps, declaring in a televised address that states that sponsored terrorism would be punished.

Egyptian military sources said six strikes took place near Derna in eastern Libya at around sundown, hours after masked gunmen attacked a group of Coptic Christians traveling to a monastery in southern Egypt, killing 29 and wounding 24.

The Egyptian military said the operation was ongoing and had been undertaken once it had been ascertained that the camps had produced the gunmen behind the attack on the Coptic Christians in Minya, southern Egypt, on Friday morning.

“The terrorist incident that took place today will not pass unnoticed,” Sisi said. “We are currently targeting the camps where the terrorists are trained.”

He said Egypt would not hesitate to carry out further strikes against camps that trained people to carry out operations against Egypt, whether those camps were inside or outside the country.

Egyptian military footage of pilots being briefed and war planes taking off was shown on state television.

East Libyan forces said they participated in the air strikes, which had targeted forces linked to al-Qaeda at a number of sites, and would be followed by a ground operation.

A resident in Derna heard four powerful explosions, and told Reuters that the strikes had targeted camps used by fighters belonging to the Majlis al-Shura militant group.

Majlis al-Shura spokesman Mohamed al-Mansouri said in a video posted online that the Egyptian air strikes did not hit any of the group’s camps, but instead hit civilian areas.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack on the Christians, which followed a series of church bombings claimed by Islamic State in a campaign of violence against the Copts.

Islamic State supporters reposted videos from earlier this year urging violence against the Copts in Egypt.

At a nearby village, thousands later attended a funeral service that turned into an angry protest against the authorities’ failure to protect Christians.

“We will avenge them or die like them,” mourners said, while marching with a giant wooden cross.

GUNFIRE AND BLOOD

Eyewitnesses said masked men opened fire after stopping the Christians, who were in a bus and other vehicles on a desert road. Local TV channels showed a bus apparently raked by gunfire and smeared with blood.

Clothes and shoes could be seen lying in and around the bus, while the bodies of some of the victims lay in the sand nearby, covered with black sheets.

Eyewitnesses said three vehicles were attacked. First to be hit was a vehicle taking children to the monastery as part of a church-organized trip, and another vehicle taking families there.

The gunmen boarded the vehicles and shot all the men and took all the women’s gold jewelry. They then shot women and children in the legs.

When one of the gunmen’s vehicles got a flat tire they stopped a truck carrying Christian workers, shot them, and took the truck.

One of the gunmen recorded the attack on the Copts with a video camera, eyewitnesses said.

The attack took place on a road leading to the monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor in Minya province, which is home to a sizeable Christian minority.

Security forces launched a hunt for the attackers, setting up dozens of checkpoints and patrols on the desert road.

Police armed with assault rifles formed a security perimeter around the attack site while officials from the public prosecutor’s office gathered evidence. Heavily armed special forces arrived later wearing face masks and body armor.

The injured were taken to local hospitals and some were being transported to Cairo. The Health Ministry said that among those injured were two children aged two.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who has made a point of improving relations with Cairo, said his country stood with Sisi and the Egyptian people.

“This merciless slaughter of Christians in Egypt tears at our hearts and grieves our souls,” Trump said.

The Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Egypt’s 1,000-year-old center of Islamic learning, said the attack was intended to destabilize the country.

“I call on Egyptians to unite in the face of this brutal terrorism,” Ahmed al-Tayeb said. The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Shawki Allam, condemned the perpetrators as traitors.

The head of the Coptic Christian church, Pope Tawadros, who spoke with Sisi after the attack, said it was “not directed at the Copts, but at Egypt and the heart of the Egyptians”.

Pope Francis, who visited Cairo a month ago, described the attack as a “senseless act of hatred”.

ONGOING PERSECUTION

Coptic Christians, whose church dates back nearly 2,000 years, make up about 10 percent of Egypt’s population of 92 million.

They say they have long suffered from persecution, but in recent months the frequency of deadly attacks against them has increased. About 70 have been killed since December in bombings claimed by Islamic State at churches in the cities of Cairo, Alexandria and Tanta.

An Islamic State campaign of murders in North Sinai prompted hundreds of Christians to flee in February and March.

Copts fear they will face the same fate as brethren in Iraq and Syria, where Christian communities have been decimated by wars and Islamic State persecution.

Egypt’s Copts are vocal supporters of Sisi, who has vowed to crush Islamist extremism and protect Christians. He declared a three-month state of emergency in the aftermath of the church bombings in April.

But many Christians feel the state either does not take their plight seriously enough or cannot protect them against determined fanatics.

Stop issuing family entertainment licenses- IGP

 May 27, 2017

MELAKA, May 27: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has urged the state governments and local authorities to cease issuing family entertainment licences.

He said this was because there were too many cases of operators abusing such licences to turn the family entertainment centres into gambling dens.

“What is the purpose of having family entertainment centres when it is filled with machines that are turned into gambling slot machines,” he told a press conference after attending a gathering of senior officers of the state police contingent at the Bukit Beruang police headquarters Friday.

Khalid said it was unfair to blame only the police in the prevention of gambling activities when the local authorities issued the entertainment licences and had legal provisions to curb them.–Bernama

“We are still proud of you Agilan Thani”

Agilan was defeated by One Championship welterweight champion Ben Askren by submission in the co-main event of ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes in Singapore Friday night.

The American – a 2008 Olympic wrestler and former Bellator champion – tapped into the vast gulf in experience to overwhelm his Malaysian challenger from the get-go, rag-dolling Thani and quickly taking the fight to the ground.

The youngster fought valiantly to get back up on his feet but in the end, Askren was too strong and too savvy as he sunk in an arm triangle submission to end the bout.

Askren extends his record to 16 wins and no losses, to cap off the third defence of a strap he won back in 2014.

Supporters from all walks of life also took social media by storm to voice their congratulations to Agilan.

MIC Youth Chief Datuk C. Sivarraajh said: “Agilan is just 21 … he’ll make it big soon…. everyone needs a defeat to boast them in life. Keep rocking and you’re already our champion.”

Questions For Nazir Razak Re-1MDB Payments NEW EVIDENCE

26 May 2017

Sarawak Report has now received the full details of the payments received by CIMB boss Nazir Razak from his brother Najib, out money which turned out to have been stolen from 1MDB.

Nazir Razak admitted to these payments when they were first reported by the Wall Street Journal last year, which amounted to the equivalent of around $7 million.  Nazir temporarily stood down from his position in April 2016 and initiated an enquiry at the bank.

Returning to his position the following month, Nazir said that he had been exonerated by the bank’s independent enquiry into its boss.  The Prime Minister’s brother had explained he had been asked by Najib to assist in processing money, which he had understood to have been legitimately raised through genuine donations for the BN election effort.

However, Nazir did not publicly appear to explain how it could be necessary to ask a senior banking official, like himself, to process legitimate money – rather than putting it through the party books in the normal manner?

On the other hand, Nazir did helpfully confirm where this money was later sent:

Nazir, a leading Malaysian corporate figure, had said earlier that he believed the money came from legitimate fundraising, and said that CIMB bank staff disbursed the funds to ruling-party politicians on the instructions of his brother.

At Monday’s news conference, the banker spoke of Najib’s request for assistance, and said it was the first and last time he had been asked for such help.

“My brother asked for some help and I agreed after I assessed that it would not involve anything illegal or misuse of my position at CIMB, or any inappropriate use of CIMB’s resources,” Nazir told a news conference after the bank’s annual general meeting. [South China Morning Post]

“Ruling-Party Politicians”
Sarawak Report suggests that Nazir, who has shown some commendable disapproval of corrupt practices and unexplained wealth on the part of his brother, ought now provide further details on these furtive handouts.

Specifically, which ruling party politicians were paid, how much were they paid and why were they paid, as opposed to their formal party offices?

This is particularly so now that Sarawak Report is in a position to list the exact payments made to Nazir, of which there were four.

The first three payments, just before the General Election, came from the AmBank account xxx 964.  This account was furnished by payments from abroad, including Tanore Finance and Blackstone Asia (both controlled Jho Low in Singapore):
– on 5th April 2013 RM13,500,000 was paid to Nazir;
– on 9th April 2013 RM500,000 was paid to Nazir
– and on 22nd April 2013 RM5,700,000 was paid to Nazir
(Total RM19,700,000).

However, these pre-election requests turn out not to have been “the first and last” after all.

There was a further payment, this time from the SRC funded local account number xxx906, made after the election on 20th December 2013 for RM6,000,000, bringing the grand total to RM25.7 million, considerably over US$7 million at contemporary exchange rates.

Therefore, the election payments appear, according to these investigation documents, not to have been “the last time he helped his brother in this way“.

So, perhaps Nazir can help answer the question why was Najib paying “ruling party politicians”, secretly through him again, even AFTER the elections?

In fact, why was he paying them at all?

Sarawak Report suggests that in the absence of any official explanation so far, Malaysians are entitled to conclude that Najib was attempting to buy his own party leadership’s loyalty to him personally, by putting large numbers of ringgit in the pockets of key players.

If so, it represents one further act of extreme political corruption waged against the democratic process of Malaysia.  Ironically, it is so far the Editor of Sarawak Report who has been charged by the Malaysian authorities with “activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy” for pointing such matters out.

Names in the frame

Not all recipients from Najib’s slush fund were paid so secretly through his brother’s bank, however.  We have details of some political figures who were paid directly with cheques from Najib, which substantiates the theory that the reason why all these UMNO/BN ‘bigwigs’ have stood silently by or in some cases have raced to his defence over 1MDB is because he has them all bought and paid for with that very self same stolen public money.

In a not necessarily exhaustive list, known politicians who have directly received personal cheques from the 1MDB accounts are as follows:

– Jacob Sagan – Sarawak PBB – 17/06/11 – RM200,000
– Ahmand Bashah B MD Hanipah – Kedah – 05/07/11 – RM200,000
– AB Aziz Kaprausi [Kaprawi?] – UMNO Sri Gading – 13/10/11 – RM 100,000
– Kasitah Bin Gaddam – UMNO Sabah – 06/01/12 – RM100,000
– Kasitah Bin Gaddam – UMNO Sabah – 02/02/12 – RM100,000 (again)
– Richard Riot – SUPP Sarawak – 02/03/12 – RM100,000
– Hassan Malek – UMNO Negeri Sembilan – 04/05/12 – RM100,000
– Ismail Adb Mattalib – UMNO Pahang – 27/06/12 – RM100,000
– Wetrom bin Bahanda – UMNO Sabah – 29/06/12 – RM100,000

Hanifi bin Mamat

Then just two days before the election a fat RM10,000,000 was extracted processed made out to Dato Hanafi Bin Mamat an UMNO senator from Kelantan.

What was he doing with that money?  Certainly, the handout appears to have bought Hanafi’s firm loyalty.

After the eruption of the 1MDB scandal it was he who was chastising his local party members against showing any dissent to Najib over the matter:

Kelantan Umno would take stern action against two party branches in Machang following the action of those who openly reject the leadership of Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as party president.

Secretary Datuk Hanafi Mamat said it because that’s considered not in accordance with the prescribed channel as the party’s constitution and rules.

“They should be allowed to use channels that criticize or reprimand in which all members have been informed about this, but if the president so openly about ready for action.

“What they are doing is contrary to the values and culture of Umno, we do not restrict members to criticize the leadership but admonished to prudence. Do not join the movement to topple the president at the expense of the party, “he said [translation Sinar online]

Money well spent?

The payments continued after the election. of course, on 27th November 2013 Ahman Maslan received RM2 million, at the time UMNO Information Chief and always one of Najib’s most voluble supporters.

As also previously reported, on 26/11/13 the Chairman of the UMNO Backbenchers group Sharhril Abdul Samad also received a generous donation of RM1 million from the PM. Sharhril went on this year to take over FELDA the floundering famers’ fund run into the ground by Najib’s policies.

This list is by no means likely to be exhaustive and there are other interesting payments, including two telling handouts of RM100,000 each in June 2011 and April 2012 to a certain Ruslan Kassim.  Ruslan is now a leading light of the extreme nationalist Malay ‘supremacist’ group Perkasa, known for its disruptive and divisive activities on the ground.

Najib has always indicated he does not support the party, which has nevertheless been whipping up Malay nationalism against opposition parties associated with tolerance towards minority groups.  Perhaps he can explain these payments also?
