Kedah Man Claims To Be A Woman Trapped In A Man’s Body To Have Sex With Other Men!!!

Woah! Like this also can!

According to Star, a 23-year-old man allegedly conned other men into having sex with him by claiming that he was a, in fact, a woman trapped in a man’s body and that he could only be freed by drinking sperm!

Who even falls for this kind of rubbish anyways? Well, apparently unintelligent people do (since he has more than one victim).

The man would impose as two different women on social media to lure the victims. He was also reported to be a person from Pendang, Kedah. One of the last states that one would have thought of when it comes to this kind of cases, right?

Apparently, after chatting with his victims for awhile, the man would call them up for a meeting. Obviously, those men were shocked to find out the truth but I honestly can’t believe how gullible they can be to actually believe that he was a woman trapped in a male body and the ‘evil spell’ would break once he drinks the sperm of his lovers.

Kedah
Malaysian state
Kedah is a state in northwest Malaysia, bordering Thailand and encompassing the Langkawi archipelago. On Langkawi Island, the SkyCab cable car passes over rainforest to reach the peak of Mt. Machinchang. Here, the SkyBridge pedestrian bridge curves across the landscape. Nearby are the 7 pools of Telaga Tujuh waterfall. In Kuah, the island's main ferry port, an eagle statue dominates Eagle Square’s star-shaped jetty.
Area: 3,640 mi²

Population: 2.072 million (2015)

He also further gains their trust by promising them that he would marry them. And what else a marriage would need? Dowry, of course! He gets these bunch of men to actually bank in money to him as dowry and later on disappears into thin air.

How can you not even see this coming?!

Anyways, at least, these bunch of men did something right…they managed to trace this sexual predator and handed him over to the police.

Facing a deep slowdown after years of investment-fuelled growth that culminated in a huge property and stock market bubble, the leaders of Asia’s largest economy come up with a cunning plan. By launching an initiative to fund and construct infrastructure projects across Asia, they will kill four birds with one stone.

They will generate enough demand abroad to keep their excess steel mills, cement plants and construction companies in business, so preserving jobs at home. They will tie neighbouring countries more closely into their own economic orbit, so enhancing both their hard and soft power around the region. They will further their long term plan to promote their own currency as an international alternative to the US dollar. And to finance it all, they will set up a new multi-lateral infrastructure bank, which will undermine the influence of the existing Washington-based institutions, with all their tedious insistence on transparency and best practice, by making more “culturally sensitive” soft loans. The result will be the regional hegemony they regard as their right as Asia’s leading economic and political power.

Consistent political will is needed to ensure one belt, one road initiative succeeds

If you think you’ve seen this movie before, you probably have. That could be an outline of China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative, launched last year to great fanfare, and relentlessly promoted by loyal officials ever since. But it’s actually a description of a strikingly similar plan rolled out by Japanese prime minister Keizo Obuchi in the 1990s. That too promised to provide work for Japan’s recession-hit construction sector by building Japanese-funded infrastructure projects around Asia. And it even included a proposal – never realised – to establish an Asian Monetary Fund to lend to regional governments on easier terms than either the IMF or World Bank.

Unfortunately for Beijing, the precedent is hardly encouraging. From the start the scheme was plagued by bickering over conditions and allegations of corruption. A handful of infrastructure projects did get built, but the reality fell woefully short of Tokyo’s grandiose dreams. Far from cementing Japan’s economic ascendancy across Asia, the project left a legacy of bad blood, and marked the beginning of a financial retreat from around the region that Japan has only recently begun to reverse.

All the signs are that China’s One Belt, One Road plan will similarly fail in its main objectives. First, the idea that infrastructure projects in Central and South East Asia could absorb a sizeable portion of China’s excess industrial capacity is simply unrealistic. Consider steel. Currently China’s steel mills can turn out some 1.1 billion tonnes of the metal annually. Yet even with economic stimulus efforts in full swing, no one expects domestic demand to exceed 700 million tonnes this year. It is hard to imagine China building enough roads, ports and pipelines across Asia to use up the extra 300 million tonnes of capacity, especially when you consider that the World Steel Association forecasts demand in the European Union, the world’s largest economy, to be just 150 million tonnes this year.

China’s one belt, one road initiative set to transform economy by connecting with trading partners along ancient Silk Road

Beijing could try. But if it did, it would run into another problem. Asia needs infrastructure development, but the region’s capacity to absorb new projects is limited. As China has learned at home, building a new high speed rail line or state of the art airport is easy enough given plentiful funding. But building a high speed rail line that is economically viable is altogether more difficult. Inevitably, if Beijing attempts to pursue projects at a pace and in a number sufficient to make a dent in its excess capacity, it will end up building white elephants, wasting money, and encouraging corruption on a scale never before seen.

China’s one belt, one road plan covers more than half of the population, 75 per cent of energy resources and 40 per cent of world’s GDP

These constraints mean China’s ambition of using lending tied to the One Belt, One Road initiative to help promote the yuan as Asia’s international currency of choice is also destined to fail. What policy-makers had in mind was something akin to the Marshall Plan, by which the United States pumped money into Western Europe in the late 1940s to fund post-war reconstruction, so confirming the US dollar’s position as the world’s dominant reserve currency. But 1940s Europe was very different from Central Asia today. Europe’s physical infrastructure may have been destroyed by war, but its know-how and institutional strength in depth were largely intact. Rebuilding on such foundations was relatively straightforward.

Law firms work on ways to mitigate stakeholders’ risk in belt-road cross-border deals

Developing Asia’s foundations are still under construction. But while physical capital like a new port or railway can be built in just a few years, building the human and institutional capital that allow that port to operate efficiently and to contribute effectively to economic and social progress is a slower process. The two need to go hand in hand, which is why multi-lateral lenders like the World Bank lay such heavy stress on best practice. The senior officials charged with implementing China’s grand plan appreciate these capacity constraints, and appear to be scaling down their ambitions. That’s sensible, but it means the One Belt, One Road initiative will fall far short of its original objectives, just as its Japanese forerunner did almost 20 years ago.

Apple could unveil its 10.5-inch iPad Pro at company’s annual WorldWide Developers Conference, scheduled to take place from June 5 to June 9 in San Jose. According to Ming-Chi Kuo (via MacRumors), is is highly likely the Cupertino technology giant will announce the new iPad Pro this year given the timing of ramp up in production at the end of this quarter.

Further, the new iPad Pro 10.5-inch variant is said to feature the same specifications as the 9.7-inch model except the bezels will be thinner thanks to a wider display. “We forecast 10.5” iPad shipments of 5.0-6.0mn units in 2017F, accounting for 15% of total 2017F iPad shipments,” reads a report in MacRumors.

At WWDC, Apple is expected to showcase its smart speaker as well. The device will reportedly have features similar to its competitors – Amazon Echo and Google Home – but could be priced above the two.

The highlight of Apple’s Siri-powered smart speaker will be a touch panel display, details of which are unclear at this point. Kuo had earlier said Apple’s new speaker will have multiple tweeters, a woofer and computing power comparable to an “iPhone 6 or 6s”, according to Business Insider. The speaker is expected to allow users to stream music and control Internet of Things (IoT) around their homes.

Apple will begin the five-day conference with a keynote on the first day of WWDC, where updates to the iOS ecosystem are likely to be announced. Apple is widely expected to announce new versions of iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS platforms as well.

Page from the Past - Padri War or Minangkabau War - War between the Wahabis - Muslim Clerics from Sumatra vs Adats Minangkabau nobility and traditional chiefs

Now happening in Malaysia between the Padris of Malaysia UMNO-PAS vs the Adats Pakatan Harapan

The Padri War (also called the Minangkabau War) was fought from 1803 until 1837 in West Sumatra, Indonesia between the Padris and the Adats. "Padris" were Muslim clerics from Sumatra who, inspired by Wahabism and after returning from Hajj, wanted to impose sharia in Minangkabau country in West Sumatra, Indonesia. "Adats" comprised the Minangkabau nobility and traditional chiefs. The latter asked for the help of the Dutch, who intervened from 1821 and helped the nobility defeat the Padri faction.

Background

It can be considered that the Padri War actually began in 1803, prior to Dutch intervention, and was a conflict that had broken out in Minangkabau country when the Padris started to suppress what they saw as unislamic customs, i.e. the adat. But after occupation of the Pagaruyung Kingdom by Tuanku Pasaman, one of Padri leaders in 1815, on 21 February 1821, the Minangkabau nobility made a deal with Dutch in Padang to help them to fight the Padris

Adat, as customary law is called in Indonesia, includes indigenous, pre-Islamic religious practices and social traditions in local custom. The Padris, like contemporaneous jihadists in the Sokoto Caliphate of West Africa, were Islamist reformers who had made the hajj to Mecca and returned nspired to bring the Qur'an and shariah to a position of greater influence in Sumatra. The Padri movement had formed during the early 19th century and sought to purify the culture of traditions and beliefs its partisans viewed as un-Islamic, including syncretic folk beliefs, cockfighting and Minangkabau matrilineal traditions.

In the 1820s, the Dutch had yet to consolidate their possessions in some parts of the Dutch East Indies (later Indonesia) after re-acquiring it from the British. This was especially true on the island of Sumatra, where some areas would not come under Dutch rule until the 20th century.

Skirmishes and the Masang Treaty

Dutch involvement in the war came about because it was "invited" by the Adat faction, and in April 1821, Dutch troops attacked Simawang and Sulit Air under captains Goffinet and Dienema on the orders of James du Puy, the Dutch Resident in Padang. Between 1821–1824, skirmishes broke out throughout the region, ended only by the Masang Treaty. The war cooled down during the next six years, as the Dutch faced larger-scale uprisings in Java.

Dutch advances

The conflict broke out again in the 1830s with the Dutch gaining early victories. Soon after, the war centred on Bonjol, the fortified last stronghold of the Padris. It finally fell in 1837[4] after being besieged for three years, and along with the exile of Padri leader Tuanku Imam Bonjol, the conflict died out.

Impact

With the victory, the Dutch tightened their hold on West Sumatra. Yet there was a positive legacy for the native Minangs: after the war, the traditional and religious leaders increasingly reconciled their visions. This helped promulgating the new view of "adat basandi syara', syara' basandi Kitabullah" ("tradition founded upon Islamic law, Islamic law founded upon the Qur'an").

Family members of Pahan, who takes aliases like Vikash and Ashish, were present as he surrendered before Additional Director General of Police R K Malik, IG (CRPF) Sanjay Lathkar, DIG A V Homkar and other senior police officers at Ranchi.

Malik congratulated the police team for convincing Pahan to come into the mainstream and their continuous success in controlling left wing extremism.

“True repentance is to accept one’s mistakes,” Malik said on the occasion and appealed to others connected with the extremist organisation that indulges in exploitation and violence to join the mainstream.

Malik said that DGP D K Pandey and the state government’s initiative of ‘Nai Disha’ gave one final opportunity this year to the naxalites to surrender.

Inspector General of Police (CRPF) Sanjay Lathkar said the naxalites coming forward to surrender have understood “the hollowness of Maoist ideology and believe in the Constitution”.
Deputy Inspector General of Police A V Homkar said it was a historic moment for the CRPF and the Jharkhand police as several naxalites have given up arms due to their efforts.
Kundan Pahan said that he had realised that he had “wasted” 20 years and would now help in the development works in the state.

He said, “Directly or indirectly I take responsibility of the incidents”, and expressed sorrow for those who died in Maoist violence.

Pahan alleged that the senior Maoists get their children educated in foreign countries and indulge in extortion.

What is China’s One Belt One Road (OBOR) project?

All you need to know about China's ambitious OBOR project.

Nepal officially inked the One Belt One Belt (OBOR) deal with China on Friday leaving India as the only South-Asian country not to be involved in the Asian superpower’s ambitious project. The deal, which was  signed in Kathmandu, would allow development of cross-border connectivity and more. With the exception of Bhutan, which has no diplomatic ties with China, every other South Asian country has signed into OBOR. Heads of state of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Myanmar and high-level delegations from Bangladesh and Nepal will be attending the two-day Belt and Road Forum in China.

So what exactly is OBOR?

Touted as Chinese President Xi Jinping’s ambitious project, the One Belt One Road initiative focuses on improving connectivity and cooperation amount Asian countries, Africa, China and Europe. The emphasis is on enhancing land as well as maritime routes. The policy is significant for China since it aims to boost domestic growth in the country. Experts have noted OBOR is also a part of China’s strategy for economic diplomacy. Considering China’s exclusion from G7, OBOR policy might just provide China an opportunity to continue its economic development.

Why is India opposed to OBOR?

The main reason behind India’s opposition towards the policy is the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which is a part of OBOR. Recent Chinese reports claim that following the launch of CPEC in Pakistan, the country has received investments worth more than $46 billion. “We are all for promoting connectivity… but on the OBOR, our position is that since the so-called CPEC forms a part of OBOR, and it passes through Indian territory, that is where our difficulty lies,” External Affairs Ministry Spokesman Gopal Baglay had said earlier this week. Citing sovereignty issues, India has raised objections over CPEC projects in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). China, however, has not tried to attenuate India’s concerns. “The CPEC is a flagship project, but all countries in South Asia have now confirmed participation in the Belt and Road Forum and are making use of the initiative,” Wang Dehua, Director, Institute for South and Central Asia Studies in Shanghai told Indian Express.

Belt and Road Forum?

Beijing will host the two-day Belt and Road Forum (BRF) starting May 14 facilitating high-level delegations talks among leaders, including 29 Heads of State, on OBOR.  India will not be attending the forum. China Foreign Ministry spokesperson some Indian scholars would be participating in relevant activities during the Belt and Road Forum.

Nepal in, India absent: What does this mean for India?

Nepal and India have sustained good bilateral ties. However, with China entering the equation, India might just have a hard time in keeping it’s status intact. Chinese foreign policy experts have noted that Nepal’s inclusion in OBOR may force India to join the initiative or face exclusion. Hu Shisheng, Director of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, told The Indian Express: “If India does not participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, something all her neighbours are positive about, then the neighbours will have cause to complain. This is not constructive for India and will reduce its appeal in the region. The neighbours may ask questions like why is India not involved?”

Kleptocrazy site: ‘Why should public be judge? asks minister and reply why not as we are the tax payers and New C4 site lets public report politicians’ ‘unusual’ wealth

Nur Khairah Alegria Suner | May 14, 2017
Minister Paul Low questions authenticity and credibility of information provided by people about public officials, politicians having 'unusual' wealth.

PETALING JAYA: Having a “Kleptocrazy Malaysia” website raises the question of whether it is ethical to allow the public to be the judge of individuals whom they deem to corrupted.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Paul Low claimed that it might not be ethical to let the public post pictures of public officials and their families on the website in an effort to purge corruption.

“The whole website is like a court where it actually allows the public to be the judge regardless if it is true or not,” Low told FMT yesterday.

The website, which acts as a whistleblower, was launched yesterday by the Centre to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4) and is meant as a platform to help the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to determine if certain individuals needed to be investigated for having “unusual wealth”.

The website allows people to post pictures of public officials and politicians who possess unexplained amount of wealth.

Low who is in charge of governance, integrity and human rights, also questioned the credibility and authenticity of the information on the proclaimed individuals.
“How can you ensure that the information provided by the public is authentic and does not have other ulterior motives?

“What if the person is innocent? How can the person defend themselves?” asked Low.
Meanwhile, Low suggested that the platform provide the information of the “accuser” instead of going for an anonymous informer.

The Kleptocrazy Malaysia website comes barely a month after C4 demanded the MACC Act be amended to strengthen the commission’s powers to investigate corrupt practices, especially possession of unusual or unexplained wealth.
The demand came following the arrest of PKR Youth leader Adam Rosly, after allegations of his “unusual wealth”, in April.

C4 executive director Cynthia Gabriel spoke during the launch and urged that the public should be part of the fight against corruption.

“We are sitting back and watching. Instead, we should be assisting the MACC in highlighting cases,” she told a crowd that included prominent activists, such as Marina Mahathir and the cartoonist popularly known as Zunar.

Also present were Selangor state speaker Hannah Yeoh and veteran journalist R Nadeswaran, who were also among the panellists at the forum.

According to Gabriel, the website will play a vital role, especially in keeping political leaders in check with the general election just around the corner.

However, she was quick to point out that the interactive platform was not to target any individual nor was there any personal vendetta attached to this initiative.

New C4 site lets public report politicians’ ‘unusual’ wealth

Anti-graft NGO launches 'Kleptocrazy Malaysia' website to allow public to post pictures of public officials and politicians who have unexplained wealth.

PETALING JAYA: The Centre to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4) last night launched “Kleptocrazy Malaysia”, a platform to keep tabs on the unexplained wealth of public officials and politicians in public office.

C4 executive director, Cynthia Gabriel said the site will allow people to post pictures of wealthy public officials and their families which will help the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) determine if these individuals needed to be investigated for having “unusual wealth”.
In unveiling the site, Gabriel noted that since Dzulkifli Ahmad was appointed as the MACC chief commissioner eight months ago, the anti-graft body has chalked up 24 cases, including several high-profiled ones such, as the Sabah Water Department case and the Johor land conversion scandal.
Unfortunately for Gabriel, the public is not part of this fight against corruption.

“We are sitting back and watching. Instead, we should be assisting them in highlighting cases,” she told a crowd that included prominent activists, such as Marina Mahathir and the cartoonist popularly known as Zunar.

Also present were Selangor state speaker Hannah Yeoh and veteran journalist R Nadeswaran, who were also among the panellist at the two-hour forum.

This is where “Kleptocrazy Malaysia” will play a vital role, especially in keeping political leaders in check with the general election just around the corner.

Gabriel, however, was quick to point out that the interactive platform was not to target personal individuals nor was there any personal vendetta attached to this initiative.
Rather it will be a crackdown on public officials and politicians with unexplained wealth.
“We want to go after those who live beyond their means. The main message here is that we are watching you.”

The launch of “Kleptocrazy Malaysia” comes barely a month after C4 demanded the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act be amended to strengthen the commission’s powers to investigate corrupt practices, especially possession of unusual or unexplained wealth.
The demand came following the arrest of PKR Youth leader Adam Rosly after allegations of his “unusual wealth” in April.

He has since been charged under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act for providing forged documents as valid documents and giving false evidence.

The launch also comes more than a month after Gabriel mooted an idea to get Malaysians to follow a “trail” of kleptocracy involving any political leader as a way to better scrutinise those holding power in government.

Pakatan Harapan Youth: We don’t need PAS to face GE14

Pakatan Harapan Youth wing launches manifesto to aid youths to overcome high cost of living, corruption and unemployment issues
PETALING JAYA: Though PAS may have been a heavyweight in the opposition bloc in the past, Pakatan Harapan Youth today reiterated that it was no longer a concern now since the Islamic party has decided to sever all ties with the opposition front.

DAPSY National Organising secretary Howard Lee Chuan How said that the machinery of DAP, PKR and Amanah were ready to face GE14 without PAS.

“From what we saw in Umno’s 71 anniversary last night, the allegiance and the clarity of a certain party’s alignment is now clear.

“With or without PAS, it is not that relevant. Our machinery is ready to face the elections without fear,” he confidently said.

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Armada (Youth) chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman meanwhile said that PPBM has recruited more than 100,000 members and half of them were youth.

“Fifty percent are below 35 years old, and the unity between us and component parties remain strong. It is time that our machinery prove to the nation that we are able to take over Putrajaya,” he said.

Syed Saddiq and Lee were speaking in a press conference at the PPBM headquarters where the Pakatan Harapan Youth launched their manifesto to aid the youth in conjunction to Malaysian Youth Day 2017.

The manifesto focuses on overcoming issues including high cost of living, corruption and unemployment due to a surplus of foreign workers.

This manifesto will be brought up to Pakatan Harapan top leadership council to be included in the coalition’s main manifesto.

“We will ensure that during the first term of Pakatan Harapan’s takeover, we will create one million job opportunities, reduce foreign workers from six million to 2.5 million and overcome bribery as well as abuse of power,” Syed Saddiq said.

Amanah Youth deputy chief Muhammad Faiz Fadzil said that in comparison to the manifesto of Youth and Sports Ministry’s National Transformation (TN50), their manifesto was not mere rhetoric.

“TN50 is rhetoric, candies for the youth. We on the other hand are looking at the future built on the ground that are free from corruption, waste and abuse of power,” he said.

Unity flashmob on May 13

Meanwhile, Syed Saddiq also announced that he will be conducting a mini tour around Kuala Lumpur in areas significant to the May 13 dark tragedy along with friend Chong Hock Soon to give impromptu speech on unity.

He said that they both will be walking side by side wearing their respective traditional outfit with placards saying ‘#SayaAnakMalaysia.

He said the time and location could not be exposed to the media as it may lead to the plan being sabotaged by the authorities.

“We will spontaneously give speeches on unity without any political statements. At the end of it all, we will pass the audience a letter of unity for them to read on their own,” he said.

Opposition holds advantage in multi-cornered fights? Yes they do

UMNO-BN and PAS are fighting for the same pool of voters which are 20% bottom of the barrel voters which were never in the mainstream. Both parties will be hardest hit in a 3 cornered fight.

By John Chin 40

Last Updated 14th May, 2017, 2:26 AM
Some in Opposition feel they can ride on people’s dislike of Najib Razak no matter what, but others say a free for all will help BN

KOTA BARU: There are two sets of conclusions drawn among the Opposition when it comes to addressing the possibility of squaring off in three- or four-cornered fights in the next general election, said a former PAS secretary-general.

The first consensus among them is that the Opposition can prevail in such an event as there is now anguish towards the leadership of Prime Minister Najib Razak, said Kamaruddin Jaafar, the Tumpat member of parliament.

Kamaruddin, who joined PKR after exiting PAS, said some leaders in Pakatan Harapan believed that the hatred towards Najib is intense and that Najib’s unpopularity will be the undoing of the BN coalition which he leads.

Such a scenario assumes that voters will strictly stick by the Opposition, ignoring BN and the others when casting their ballots.

“So even if there are no straight fights, the Opposition stands to win as the pendulum swing may have fully tilted towards Pakatan Harapan,” he said.

But there is another theory that multi-cornered fights would doom the Opposition to another round of failure in its attempt to capture Putrajaya despite the poor economic performance of the country since 2013.

For starters, opposition parties have become their own worst enemies, quarrelling among themselves and PAS and DAP have even become bitter rivals since 2014.

Every opposition party has its own strengths and strongholds, particularly PAS which has close to one million members, said Kamaruddin.

And if there are multi–cornered fights in many seats, the opposition parties would end up neutralising each other rather than challenging BN, he noted.

Kamaruddin said the split among the opposition is a major slap in the face of discerning voters, who want Pakatan Harapan to offer a sincere and united front to show they are ready to govern the country.

“I happen to share the opinion of those in the second category, which is BN will enjoy the advantage in the event of a multi-cornered fight,” he said.

Kamaruddin said Malaysia is a different proposition when it comes to championing the Commonwealth parliamentary democracy principle.

Unlike Britain where the political parties campaign on their own before forming alliances upon the outcome of an election, in Malaysia the parties tend to be part of a group first as voters here opt for security and certainty, said Kamaruddin.

But it may slightly change with PAS preferring to go it alone, perhaps acting like a kingmaker as both sides of the divide may need the Islamist party, he added.

If everybody can cast aside their personal objectives and focus on what the country really needs, only then can Malaysia emerge stronger after this latest round of elections, Kamaruddin said.

Otherwise it is likely to be status quo.

AirAsia CEO: Flights to US West Coast ‘not too far away’

What happen to the visa free arrangement for Malaysians to visit USA. Supposed to be end of 2015

FMT Reporters | May 14, 2017

Tony Fernandes was responding to CNBC's question on AirAsia's expansion plans.

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia’s long-haul unit could introduce flights to the West Coast of the United States “not too far away” from now, its chief executive told CNBC on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum’s Asean meeting in Cambodia on Thursday.
Tony Fernandes was responding to CNBC’s question on whether flights to the US West Coast was in the AirAsia’s expansion plans.

“Absolutely, I had a fantastic trip to Los Angeles and I would imagine that’s not too far away as well,” he said.
The carrier’s long-haul unit AirAsia X now flies to 24 destinations, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. The carrier also flies to the Middle East and Hawaii in the United States.
Fernandes said the company was working on listing its Philippine and Indonesian businesses.
He said following the listings, the company would look into a secondary listing of its group in either Hong Kong or another Southeast Asian country.

Hypocrite Award for May 14,2017- PAS - Even a party which claims is God's party can not eat on religion only but need a salary job

PAS: Selangor excos remain so that DAP doesn’t do “bad job”

FMT Reporters | May 14, 2017

State commissioner Sallehin Mukhyi says DAP had set a precedent when its executive councillors did not resign after the party ended ties with Pakatan Rakyat.

PETALING JAYA: Selangor PAS has defended the decision to keep its state executive councillors in office despite the party severing its political cooperation with PKR, saying that they are following a precedent set by DAP.

Its commissioner Sallehin Mukhyi today said when DAP terminated its ties with Pakatan Rakyat (PR) in 2015 it did not require its executive councillors in Selangor to resign.
“When people were asking about this, (DAP secretary-general) Lim Guan Eng replied that DAP needed to continue being in the government so that PAS did not do a bad job,” he claimed.
“Because of that PAS needs to continue being in government and serve in the executive council so that we can do good work and DAP does not do a bad job,” he said in a statement.
Lim had on June 16, 2015, announced that the PR, which comprised DAP, PAS and PKR, had ceased to exist.

Hypocrite

a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

He said PAS wants to be involved in the government to help administer with goodness and piety.
He added that the party has never engaged in conspiracy or caused disturbance to overthrow a menteri besar.

He said when other parties were conspiring to bring down then Selangor menteri besar Khalid Ibrahim in 2014, PAS did not join in.

“We acted that way not because of personal reasons but because the harmony and prosperity of the people were more important,” he said.

Sallehin added that when Khalid, who was from PKR, was eventually removed from office and Azmin Ali, the PKR deputy president, was appointed to replace him, PAS remained steadfast in not causing disruptions for the sake of the people.

He said this in responding to Selangor Umno chief Noh Omar who yesterday accused PAS of being unethical and opportunistic in refusing to resign from the executive council after breaking ties with PKR.

Noh had described the Islamist party’s excuse that it wanted to fulfil the mandate of voters who supported the party in the last general election in May 2013 as unreasonable.
He said the mandate was based on the joint manifesto by DAP, PKR and PAS headed at the state level by Khalid who has since been removed.

“If PAS accuses PKR of betraying the conditions of their ‘tahaluf siyasi’ (political cooperation), why then does it still want to be in the Selangor state government?” Noh had asked.
Likening PAS and PKR to a divorced couple that still wanted to live together, Noh said PAS was willing to be a “dayus” or unfaithful husband.
Sallehin said Noh was venting his disappointment because Umno had failed to break up the state government.

“PAS remains with the Selangor government to fulfil the obligations given by the people and because of the maturity of the state administration today,” he said.

“The difference between us is seen in the present state government’s ability to look after the welfare of the people and in delivering due service,” he added.
On May 11, PAS’ Syura Council’s endorsed the decision of the party’s muktamar (general assembly) on April 30 to end their tahaluf siyasi with PKR.

Azmin has been reported to have made it clear in a meeting with state PAS leaders on May 12 that the current executive council line-up will be kept until the upcoming 14th general election (GE14) which is due by the middle of next year.

The three PAS men in the executive council are Iskandar Samad, Ahmad Yunus Hairy and Zaidy Abdul Talib.

Apple Mac computers are popular due to their stability and performance levels. As with all other platforms, however, data hungry advertisers, corporations, governments and cybercriminals are putting Mac users’ data at risk. For this reason, Mac OS X users who want high levels of digital privacy are asking: what is the best VPN for Mac? In this article, we carefully consider everything and test all the VPNs to bring you this conclusive Mac VPN list.
With governments around the world eager to snoop on everyone’s web browsing history, it is vital that everyone takes the necessary action to protect their Mac’s data. An Apple MacBook VPN will massively increase the security of all data coming and going from the machine, providing privacy and freedom.
In addition, a Mac VPN will overcome any restrictions placed on internet users by copyright holders, government censorship, or internet service providers (ISPs). A VPN for OS X will also unblock geo-restricted content. So if you like streaming, watching foreign sports competitions, torrenting, or want access to US Netflix, a VPN for Mac is the answer.

5 Best VPNs for Windows

Windows is the most used operating system on the planet. It is also highly insecure. To be fair, in recent years it has improved a lot. It has even overtaken OS X in terms of security vulnerabilities. Like other platforms, however, what a Windows 10 PC can’t protect against is ISP, advertiser, corporate, and government snooping. That is why a VPN for Windows is essential if you value privacy.

Windows 10 (referred to as the last Windows ever) was released to the public last year. Soon after, digital privacy experts such as I pointed out a number of invasive features and security vulnerabilities. Luckily, the vast majority of those can be disabled, so please check out our guide to fix all those security issues. Furthermore, Windows VPN users often suffer from DNS leaks – a problem that can reveal your real location and identity. For that reason, we urge Windows users not only to get a VPN, but also to read our guide on resolving DNS leaks.
Using our guides, anybody can quickly improve the security of a Windows 10 system. Despite this, a VPN is still needed, in order to encrypt all the web traffic coming and going from your Windows machine. Doing so will stop anyone from snooping on your metadata and web browsing habits. It will provide full privacy and strong security, no matter whether you are at home or on public WiFi.

In addition, a VPN for Windows will overcome censorship imposed by ISPs, governments, landlords, workplaces and education centers. The result is that all websites (including geo-restricted ones) can be accessed. That makes a VPN an excellent tool for streaming online in HD. So go ahead and select a VPN for Windows, and enjoy both online security and freedom.

5 Best VPNs for Torrenting, P2P, Filesharing

Protecting your identity is crucial online, especially when torrenting. This is exactly what a VPN does (as well as unblocking geolocked content and protecting you on public Wifi). For an in depth review of providers, read the rest of the article, but here is a quick TL;DR for everyone who wants a quick answer.

The names torrenting, “downloading”, P2P (peer-to-peer), and file-sharing all basically mean the same thing. Namely, obtaining content via the BitTorrent protocol. The way the BitTorrent protocol works, however, means that VPNs for torrenting are essential if you wish to protect yourself while downloading.

BitTorrent is a very efficient way to download files, and the fact that no centralized servers are required ensure its popularity among those unconcerned with copyright issues. Unfortunately, copyright holders are concerned with such issues. And this is where the BitTorrent protocol can be something of a liability to its users

As the last two synonyms I list above (P2P and file-sharing) suggest, when you “download” a torrent file you are really sharing pieces of that file with anyone else also downloading or sharing that file.

A potentially nasty side-effect of this is that all these “peers” can see your IP address (and you can see theirs).

VPN for torrents

Here in Vuze I can easily see the IP address of everyone one else who is sharing the same file as me

It should come as a surprise to nobody, then, that copyright holders routinely monitor P2P downloads of their intellectual property (IP) in order to catch “pirates”. The good news is that if you torrent with a VPN it will protect you from this, as long as the provider permits P2P. Not all do!

Check out our list of the best VPN torrenting services below, then read on for a full discussion on this subject.

'Are You Afraid Of Flying?' Why This Airline's Powerful New Ad Is Viral

With the caption, "Are you afraid of flying," the airlines' powerful new ad addresses discrimination in a surprisingly thoughtful way. The ad, a little over a minute long, has already been viewed over 1.8 million times on Facebook, and received an overwhelmingly positive response.

“I’m not afraid of flying,” the voiceover in the video begins. “I’m not afraid of the risk of it. I’m afraid I end up somewhere I don’t want to go. Afraid of being stuck in a place with people who look at me differently. I’m afraid of the what-ifs. What if something wrong happens and they don’t believe me…?”

Amid this troubled narrative, the camera pans over passengers in an airplane, catching the studied gazes that linger. These are looks you’ll remember if you’ve ever felt different or out of place, or if you’ve ever swum with sharks—the sense that, with one false move (or even without), a deceptively calm situation could become a feeding frenzy.

“I’m not afraid of flying. But the people around me are afraid of me,” Royal Jordanian’s narrator continues. The camera settles on a clearly uncomfortable Arab man, squirming under the unabashed stare of an older woman. “People who are afraid discriminate. Those discriminated against—they’re even more afraid.”

As the tension builds, the source of the passengers' concern is finally revealed.

Watch the video below to find out what happens:

"I'm not afraid of flying. But the people around me are afraid of me," the bearded passenger concludes. "People who are afraid, discriminate. Those discriminated against - they’re even more afraid."

The ad leaves viewers with a powerful final message: "Don't be afraid to say no to discrimination."

Evil mother gets her 10 year old daughter raped by a policeman

MP Police Constable Rapes 10-Yr-Old For A Year With Her Mother's Consent

A Madhya Pradesh police constable was arrested on Saturday on charges of raping a 10-year-old girl, allegedly with her mother’s consent, in Jabalpur district. The child’s mother was also arrested, police said.

“According to the child’s account, it appears the accused constable sexually abused her repeatedly for nearly a year,” said a police officer associated with the case. “The crime was reported Saturday after the child gathered the courage to defy her mother and confide in her grandmother, who lodged a complaint with the police.”

The girl underwent a medical examination and the results are awaited, the officer added.

Police said the child’s father has a job that involves frequent travelling and he is often away from home. About a year-and-a-half ago, he purchased a TV and a motorbike on installment but his cheques bounced. This led to a warrant being issued in his name.

“According to the complainant, the accused constable went to her son’s home with the warrant. Later, he struck up a relationship with his wife and then targeted the child,” said the police officer.

“The child told her grandmother that her mother used to lock her up with the accused constable in a room. The child also said the policeman used to beat her when she resisted the abuse,” the officer added.

The child’s grandparents have also informed the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) about the abuse.

55-Yr-Old Canadian NRI's Body Found With Hand And Feet Chopped Off In Punjab Darpan News Desk IANS, 13 May, 2017

The mutilated body of an NRI was found from near a nullah close to Mauli Baidwan village. Parts of the body were found chopped off. The victim’s hands had been tied behind his back. The body was in a bloated condition and was emitting foul smell. It was covered with a sheet of synthetic packing  material. Police rounded up two persons, including a woman, in connection with the case.

Late in the evening, the police identified the victim as Surjit Singh, a resident of Sector 71 here.

Police sources said that Surjeet Singh was a Canadian citizen and his family lived in Canada while he stayed in Mohali and used to visit his native village sometimes. Surjeet was in touch with a local woman who was rounded up late in the evening. The police also rounded up a man said to be the woman’s friend.

“We suspect that he was murdered for money by the woman and one of her accomplices. Our investigation is at an advanced stage and we will soon crack the case,” a senior police officer told. Sources said that the woman had called Surjeet on the day he went missing.

The victim had been missing from his house for several days. The body was spotted by a passerby, who informed the sarpanch of the village. The sarpanch then passed on the information to the police.

The police reached the spot and took the body in their possession, which was later sent to the Civil Hospital in Phase VI here.

Among the theories the police are working on is that it could be a case of old enmity or  alleged illicit relations.

The police registered a murder case against unknown persons on the complaint of Surjeet’s brother-in-law who said that the victim had been missing for the last five days. They did not lodge any complaint as Surjeet used to go to his village for staying there or to meet his friends.

The Most Notorious Cyber Criminals

Cyber criminals have existed since the dawn of the personal computer way back in the 1970s. What most saw as a new venue for advancing knowledge and human connectivity, criminals saw as a new venue for partaking in theft, robbery, and other forms of delinquency.

Since then, it seems as if there’s no stopping the seemingly endless flow of malicious computer hackers. While most are small fish, launching your run-of-the-mill spyware and Trojan attacks, there are a select few who’ve pulled off heists so incredible that it’s landed them a spot on the FBI’s most wanted list—and sometimes even a spot in the slammer.

You can find out all about these high-profile digital heists and their perpetrators in this comprehensive list of the most notorious cyber criminals from BestVPN.

Famous Cyber Criminals

John Draperthe most notorious cybercriminals john draper

John Draper (codenamed Captain Crunch, Crunch, and Crunchman) is frequently cited as being one of the world’s first known hackers—and the first literal whistle blower.

Way back in the early 1970s, Draper discovered that a toy whistle found in Cap’n Crunch cereal produced the exact tone necessary—2600 hertz—to indicate to AT&T long lines that a line was ready and available to route a new call, when in fact it wasn’t. As such, it allowed Draper’s calls to continue even after the exchange thought that they were over.

Draper’s discovery got him involved with a group of other telecom system hackers in his area, whose practices were known as ‘phreaking.’ Members ranged from a blind man with perfect pitch to future Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

Both Draper and the other ‘phreaks’ were eventually found out when his phone company took note of his highly irregular billing patterns, and Draper was arrested on toll fraud charges in 1972 and sentenced to five years’ probation. Today, he works in software development and is a veritable legend in the computer programming community.

Vladimir Levinthe most notorious cybercriminals vladimir levin

While bank robbery has been around as long as there have been banks, it was Vladimir Levin who brought the practice into the digital age.

The first known Internet bank robber, Levin was a biochemistry graduate at St. Petersburg’s Tekhnologichesky University when he pulled off his high-profile heist in 1994. Via a laptop in London, Levin accessed the Citibank network, obtained a list of customer codes and passwords, and then logged in 18 times over a three-week period, transferring approximately $10.7 million through wire transfers into his accounts in the United States, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, and Israel.

When Citibank noticed the illicit transfers, they immediately contacted the authorities, who eventually tracked Levin down and arrested him at London Stansted Airport in March 1995 while en route to Moscow. He had a trial in the United States after being transferred there on extradition charges, where was convicted and sentenced to three years in jail on charges of conspiracy to fraud and stealing millions of dollars. He was also ordered to make a restitution of $240,015 to Citibank.

Kevin Mitnickthe most notorious cybercriminals kevin mitnick

Kevin Mitnick is frequently cited as the world’s most famous hacker and for good reason.

After dabbling in computer breaches in the late 1970s, he was charged and convicted in 1988 for breaking into and copying the software of the Digital Equipment Corporation’s computer network. He fled and became a fugitive for two and a half years, during which he hacked dozens of computer networks, copied valuable propriety software of some of America’s largest computer and cellular telephone companies, intercepted and stole computer passwords, altered networks, and broke into and read private emails.

The FBI led a highly-publicized pursuit of Mitnick, which culminated in a 1995 arrest in North Carolina on charges of wire fraud, possession of unauthorized access devices, interception of wire or electronic communications, unauthorized access to a federal computer, and causing damage to a computer. For his crimes, he served five years in prison (which included eight months of solitary confinement).

Mitnick has since cleaned up his act, becoming a paid security consultant, public speaker, and author.

Kevin Poulsenthe most notorious cybercriminals kevin poulsen

You may know Kevin Poulsen as an editor over at WIRED, but he got his start as one of the most well-known hackers to ever inhabit cyberspace.

Poulsen infiltrated computers and telephone servers in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with his most famous hack job being his deception of a Los Angeles radio station. KIIS-FM held in a call-in contest with a Porsche 944-S2 as a prize for the 102nd caller. To ensure he’d win the luxury car, Poulsen took control of the switchboard lines and blocked all incoming calls, thereby guaranteeing his being the lucky winner.

Poulsen was eventually arrested in 1991, after which he was sentenced to five years in federal prison and banned from using computers and the Internet for the three years following his release. After being freed, he reinvented himself as an online security and tech news journalist.

Gary McKinnonthe most notorious cybercriminals gary mckinnon

Scotsman Gary McKinnon infiltrated systems belonging to the United States government and military not out of a desire to launch an attack or steal sensitive information, but rather to prove the existence of aliens.

Believing that the US was withholding information regarding extraterrestrial beings from the rest of the world, between February 2001 and March 2002, McKinnon hacked into dozens of US army, air force, navy, and Department of Defense computers, in addition to 16 NASA computers, while on a self-described “moral crusade” to find classified documents regarding UFOs.

In spite of the US’s allegations that McKinnon was performing an act of warfare—unsurprising, given the proximity of the time of the hacks to the 9/11 terrorist attacks—McKinnon claims he had never acted with malicious intent, and, true to his word, had never stolen any documents or spread any viruses.

The US fought for 10 years to have McKinnon extradited and jailed, but British prosecutors ultimately ruled that he would not face charges in the UK due to mental illness. He controversially remains under the protection of the British government today.

Albert Gonzalez the most notorious cybercriminals albert gonzales

Albert Gonzalez is the mastermind behind the biggest online credit card fraud in history. From 2005 to 2008, he stole and resold more than 170 million card and ATM numbers. He and his accomplices used SQL injection to install backdoors on several corporate systems—including those of OfficeMax, T. J. Maxx, Marshalls, Target, and Barnes & Noble—in order to launch packet sniffing attacks, thereby allowing him to steal confidential computer data from the retail stores’ internal corporate networks.

Gonzalez (who went by Internet handles ‘Segvec’, ‘J4guar’, and ‘Soupnazi’, after the infamous Seinfeld character) saw his cyberheist come to an end when he was arrested at a lavish hotel in Miami in 2008. He subsequently was handed two concurrent 20-year prison terms, the longest sentence ever handed to an American for internet crime.

Adrian Lamothe most notorious cybercriminals adrian lamo
Adrian Lamo earned the moniker ‘the homeless hacker’ due to his illegally hacking high-profile networks such as those of America Online, Yahoo, WorldCom, Microsoft, and The New York Times while living a nomadic lifestyle around the United States.

Lamo’s Times hack was ultimately the cyber crime that got him grounded. For hacking into the famous newspaper’s internal computer network and accessing and modifying confidential databases, Lamo was ordered to six months of house arrest, two years of probation, and to pay more than $64,900 in restitution.

In spite of his arrest, Lamo did not stay out of the limelight for long. He made headlines again in 2010 when he turned in whistleblower Bradley Manning.

Jonathan Jamesthe most notorious cybercrimnals jonathan james

Jonathan James made headlines in 2000 as the first juvenile to be incarcerated on charges of cyber crimes. In 1999—when James was only 15 years old—he committed a series of digital intrusions into the systems of none other than the US government. His primary target was the United States Department of Defense—wherein he installed a backdoor to one of their computer servers, as well as a sniffer that allowed him to intercept over 3000 messages between government employees.

Through this interception, James managed to get a hold of the source code of the International Space Station, which controlled critical life-sustaining elements, such as temperature and humidity. As a result, NASA had to shut down its computers for three weeks, costing the organization over $41,000.

James made history when he was arrested, convicted, and sentenced a year later, for which he served six months in an adult federal correctional facility. Sadly, he committed suicide in 2008 after being allegedly falsely implicated in a TJX computer system intrusion, saying in his suicide note that he feared being prosecuted for crimes that he had not committed.

Mike Calcethe most notorious cybercriminals mike calce

Canada-born Mike Calce is best known by his hacker nickname, Mafiaboy, as his real name was withheld during his high-profile arrest and trial due to being a minor.

Calce’s main modus operandi were denial-of-service (or DoS) attacks, which involves bombarding a site with so many requests that its servers are overrun. Using these attacks, in 2000 he took down big names such as eBay, Yahoo!, and CNN.

Calce was eventually caught and he pleaded guilty to 56 counts of hacking and attacking websites, for which he was sentenced to eight months in open custody at a juvenile delinquent center, one year of probation, and restricted use of Internet. However, his DoS spree had left its mark: It caused approximately $7.5 million in global economic damages and prompted the US government to hold a White House summit on cybercrime.

David Benjamin Schrootenthe most notorious cybercriminals benjamin schrooten
The arrest of Dutchman David Benjamin Schrooten by US authorities all the way in Romania shows the lengths to which the American government will go to take down cyber criminals.

Schrooten—who’s known in the computer hacking underground as ‘Fortezza’—was arrested and extradited from Europe for a credit card fraud scheme that victimized people all around the world. In total he trafficked over 100,000 credit card numbers that had been stolen by hackers, thereby creating a profitable black market for stolen data, victimizing thousands of US citizens, and defrauding US banking institutions out of millions of dollars. For his cyber crime of marketing pilfered credit cards via internet sites, Schrooten was sentenced to 12 years in an American prison.

Robert Morristhe most notorious cybercriminals robert morris

If your computer has ever been hit with a worm virus, you have none other to thank than one of its pioneers, Robert Morris.

Morris unleashed the first worm onto the Internet to gain significant mainstream media attention in 1988 when he was a 21-year old student at Cornell University. Written to gauge the size of the Internet and not to cause damage, the worm was released from MIT and went on to exploit known vulnerabilities in Unix sendmail, finger, and rsh/rexec, as well as weak passwords. However, the code had unintended consequences: It could infect a computer multiple times and slow it down to the point of being unusable.

In the end, the Morris worm infected 10% of the internet and caused damage estimated to cost between $100,000 and $10 million. Due to his claiming non-malicious intent, Morris received a light sentence, which he served out before going on to become an esteemed MIT professor.

Crackas with Attitudethe most notorious cybercriminals cwa

Despite their amusing group nickname, Crackas with Attitude (CWA) are a group of six teenagers with serious hacking chops, who’ve committed a number of severe cyber crimes against members of the United States government.

The CWA have hacked into the emails of the likes of CIA director John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, claiming afterward that it was so easy that a 5-year old could do it. They even claim to have their hands on hundreds of the email addresses, SSNs, and phone numbers of US intelligence employees.

It goes without saying that the CWA delight in humiliating important law figures, which appears to be the main—if not sole—motivation of their internet crimes.

At the time of writing, the Cracka group is still at large (and probably still in high school).

How to Protect Yourself from Cyber Criminals
The Internet is awash with cyber criminals like the ones listed above. Don’t be fooled into thinking that they only go after high profile targets such as government organizations and big business; many digital ne’er-do-wells go after the personal and banking details of regular folk as well.

To protect yourself from becoming a victim, implement basic Internet security measures such as creating strong passwords for all of your online accounts, safeguarding your personal details on social media, and arming your computers and smartphones with a VPN such as ExpressVPN or Buffered.
