Something is rumbling in PAS- Yes the last kick of the dying

The last kick or dance of the dying.

There are talks that there will be a purge to remove the Selangor PAS leadership led by Iskandar Abdul Samad
ANALYSIS

KUALA LUMPUR: The professional faction in PAS has left the Islamic party to form Parti Amanah Negara, and is now part of the Pakatan Harapan pact to take on Barisan Nasional in the next general election.
As for PAS, it now remains outside of Pakatan, and is on the verge of cutting off ties with its sole ally in the opposition pact, PKR.
It is understood that the Islamic party is also moving to topple the Selangor PAS leadership led by the party vice president Iskandar Abdul Samad.
The senior Selangor state exco may have aligned himself to the ulama camp during the last party election some two years ago but that didn’t stop him from being targeted from the planned purge.
Iskandar, who is an engineer by training, sees the importance of maintaining ties with PKR as PAS is still part of Selangor state government.
The Selangor PAS commissioner had warned his party that ditching PKR now would set the party back in term of grassroots strength, and will also result in PAS being replaced by Amanah in the state government.
PAS would then be left with nothing in the state government and its machinery despite having a good number of state reps in the state assembly.
When contacted by Berita Daily, Iskandar’s predecessor Dr Abdul Rani Osman said that he also heard of rumours that there was a ploy to topple the Selangor PAS leadership.
He however did not mention who was behind the plot. Neither did he mention who is being targeted for the purge.
“In the struggle for good, even in the Quran states that you will be attacked from front, left and centre.
“There will always be challenges in your struggle. This doesn’t only occur in PAS but also other parties,” the Meru assemblyman added philosophically.
He however voiced his disappointment that this culture was taking place in Selangor after the party managed to make strong inroads in the state.
“Prior to the 2008 election, it was hard to even to find a candidate who was willing to stand to represent PAS.
“Now that we have won 15 seats in the last election, suddenly you want to take these people down?
“History has never lied, you must admit that these people had worked relentlessly to bring PAS to this level,” said Abdul Rani who praised Iskandar’s dedication to his work in leading the party in Selangor.
Political analyst Ibrahim Suffian of Merdeka Center however said that it was hard to identify the motive behind the calls from PAS divisions in Selangor to ditch PKR. But he believed that it may have something to do with the coming party elections.
“Most of the professionals have left the party and those who remain are loyal to the president.
“I believe that these statements have something to do with the divisional elections that is ongoing.
“Especially this week, the Selangor PAS commissioner Iskandar Abdul Samad will be defending his post as division chairman. So these issues were brought up to give the picture that PAS can stand alone without collaborating with other parties,” said Ibrahim in a WhatsApp reply to Berita Daily.
PAS won an unprecedented 15 state seats in Selangor in GE13, equalling DAP’s 15 state seats. PKR contributed 14 state seats, giving the then Pakatan Rakyat government a two-thirds majority. Selangor offers 56 state seats.

‘I BATHE THE BODIES OF DEAD MUSLIM WOMEN’: CONFESSIONS OF A LAWYER WITH A ‘SPOOKY’ SECOND JOB

Another woman of true grit and there are many more out there

‘I BATHE THE BODIES OF DEAD MUSLIM WOMEN’: CONFESSIONS OF A LAWYER WITH A ‘SPOOKY’ SECOND JOB

SITI Rasidah Abd Radzaz is a successful lawyer by profession. But her other job is far from conventional – she manages dead bodies.
The 34-year-old who was Johor’s deputy public prosecutor from 2008 until 2015, is now a partner at a law firm. When she is not busy upholding justice, Siti bathes the bodies of dead Muslim women.

Her journey began after SPM when she would follow her mother, who worked with the Johor Islamic Religious Council (MAIJ), to assist in funeral processions for Muslim women.
“I started following my mom when i was around 17 years old,” she told theSun, adding that at first, she just followed instructions but over time, was allowed to handle the corpse by herself.
Today, Siti often posts tips on how to conduct Islamic funeral customs and rituals on Facebook to share her knowledge with others. A recent post on how to cut “kain kapan” was shared over 60 times.
Siti estimates that she has bathed 1,000 bodies ranging from babies to adults, throughout the years.
However, she admitted that this career is not for the faint-hearted. She has cried while bathing the remains of a family member or friend, she recalls.
While many may find her job creepy, Siti says she has never experienced any spooky incidents because she has good intentions.
“Maybe it’s because my intention when I handle the bodies is to help and contribute back to society. Furthermore, bathing the corpses is part of “fardu kifayah” in Islam,” she shared.
Siti noted that many people are reluctant to bathe the remains of others if the deceased is not part of their family.
By sharing information on the topic, she hopes people, especially the younger generation, will be more aware of the Islamic funeral rituals and how to manage a person’s remains.

MORE BELT-TIGHTENING FOR PETRONAS & PUTRAJAYA?

Watch this space and things in Malaysia will unfold when the eggs are all in one basket revenue wise for the Malaysian Government. Best to de-Peg Ringgit from Crude oil and bit the bullet now than later

MORE BELT-TIGHTENING FOR PETRONAS & PUTRAJAYA?

PETROLIAM Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and Putrajaya should be congratulated. Despite a 12% jump in net profit to US$23.5 billion (RM104 billion) last year, the national oil company maintained its commitment to pay RM13 billion in dividends – the smallest since 2007 and lower than the US$16 billion paid in 2015 and US$29 billion in 2014.
Putrajaya’s acceptance of a smaller dividend cheque reflects its success in slashing its reliance on oil and gas revenues from an unsustainable high of 41% in 2009 to just 14% currently. This reduced dependence was facilitated by two timely decisions – to rationalise and remove subsidies, and to introduce the Goods and Services Tax on April 1, 2015.

Putrajaya can ill-afford. Given continuing volatility in global oil prices, Petronas’ decision to scale back dividends for the third successive year is financially prudent.
Furthermore, accelerating output of US shale oil in recent months is a major game changer and a development that suggests both Petronas and Putrajaya must be prepared for continuing slimmer dividends in the foreseeable future.
Three factors have propelled shale oil’s rise from a marginal player in the global oil market to a formidable challenger to the ability of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) to determine prices worldwide.
First, US shale producers’ average breakeven price (BEP) has plummeted – hammered by falling oil prices and improved productivity in shale drilling.
BEP is the price of oil needed for shale drilling to be profitable. A lower BEP suggests shale drilling is financially attractive even if oil prices slide.
In the heyday of triple-digit oil prices, the BEP for US shale producers was a lofty US$100/barrel. “Today, almost every single shale basin is economic in the US$35 to US$50 a barrel price range,” said Regina Mayor, head of energy in KPMG in Houston, Texas.
Plunging unit prices of Brent oil from a high of US$115 in June 2014 to a low of US$27 in January 2016 caused the number of shale producers to decline precipitately, leaving as survivors only the strongest.

Second, because shale oil is becoming an increasingly attractive investment proposition, it has attracted the attention of oil majors. In January this year, Exxon announced it will divert about one-third of its drilling budget this year to shale fields, a Bloomberg article said.
That same month, Exxon agreed to pay US$6.6 billion aimed at doubling its footprint in the Permian basin of West Texas and New Mexico, the most fertile US shale field, Bloomberg added.
Compared with conventional oil fields, investing in shale drilling offers three advantages:
>> a shale well could cost just US$5 million – and continues to decline,
>> shale drilling has a short cycle, in many cases it is less than two months; this reduces risks significantly because the shorter production cycle allows drillers to hedge shale oil prices and
>> the typical payback period is a speedy 1 1/2 years.
Third, US President Donald Trump’s campaign promise to ease restrictive regulatory requirements, particularly those relating to environmental protection, could spur increased investment in potential environmentally-damaging activities like shale mining.
Newly-confirmed head of the Environment Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt is a critic of environmental regulation with close ties to the oil and gas industry. Pruitt’s appointment suggests Trump’s campaign promise will be fulfilled.
Shale oil’s rising output poses a challenge to Opec. A short drilling cycle means shale operators can ramp up output quickly to capitalise on higher prices – thus offsetting the painful production cuts by Opec, Saudi Arabia in particular, and non-cartel allies.
Last November, Opec, Russia and other non-cartel allies pledged to cut output by 1.8 million barrels a day from January to June this year.
Earlier this month, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecast output from seven major US shale producers could climb by 109,000 barrels per day (bpd) to a lofty 4.962 million bpd in April this year from the month ago figure.
If April’s projected shale output is sustained, this would result in more than a million bpd production gain in just 10 months and “keep the oil bulls in the barn … and the bears from going back into hibernation,” James Williams, energy economist at WTRG Economics, said.
Fitch agrees. A stressed, oversupplied market will mean an oil price of US$40/barrel through 2019, the ratings agency predicted earlier this month.
Malaysia’s Finance Ministry has assumed an average oil price of US$45/barrel in the current Budget. Will rising shale output mean several years of sustained belt tightening for Petronas and Putrajaya?

CAN GOOGLE WEATHER AD BOYCOTT? - the bubble is slowly getting deflated

Better start selling the Internet companies stocks and shares because once Google goes down others will go down fast and it is going to be another Enron because these companies only have Software but no physical assets like factories , crude oil fields, Planes , ships etc.

CAN GOOGLE WEATHER AD BOYCOTT? - the bubble is slowly getting deflated and surely
SAN FRANCISCO – Google’s money-making foundation is strong enough to endure a current boycott by advertisers, but the movement could rattle the practice of software “programmed” ad placement, analysts said.
The Internet giant’s core business of serving up advertising along with online search results appeared to be safe from the boycott, motivated by companies seeking assurances that their marketing messages won’t be displayed along with hateful or outright terrorist content, particularly videos on Google-operated YouTube.
The “backlash” could broaden into a rebellion against the market practice of software programming ad placements, slowing not only Google’s revenue but also that of other internet firms, according to Jackdaw chief analyst Jan Dawson.
”I would think Google (and parent company Alphabet) would be extremely lucky to emerge from all this with minimal financial impact,” he said in a blog post.
”I think it’s far more likely it sees both a short-term dent in its revenues and profits from the spreading boycotts and possibly a longer-term impact as brands reconsider their commitments to programmatic advertising in general.”
California-based Google, which has seen a slew of companies withdraw ads fearing placement alongside extremist content, said this week it is introducing new tools to give firms greater control.
”We know advertisers don’t want their ads next to content that doesn’t align with their values,” Google’s chief business officer Philipp Schindler said in a blog post.
”We’re taking a tougher stance on hateful, offensive and derogatory content.”
Hateful videos

The boycott began last week after the Times newspaper of London found BBC programs were promoted alongside videos posted by American white supremacist and former Ku Klux Klan member David Duke as well as Wagdi Ghoneim, an Islamist preacher banned from Britain for inciting hatred.
The analysis found more than 200 anti-Semitic videos, and that Google had failed to remove six of them within the 24-hour period mandated by the European Union after it anonymously signalled their presence.
The British government subsequently put its YouTube advertising on hold, saying in a statement, “it is totally unacceptable that taxpayer-funded advertising has appeared next to inappropriate internet content.”
Others to pull the plug, temporarily at least, include the BBC, The Guardian newspaper group, McDonalds UK and the British arm of the major advertising agency Havas.
The movement spread to the United States this week, with AT&T and Verizon pulling ads from Google.
Google’s parent Alphabet has lost slightly more than US$20bil (RM88.61bil) in value since the start of this week based on a slip in its share price, in a sign the boycott has made investors nervous.
Limits of software
Still, analysts believe the boycott’s overall financial impact should be relatively small given the breadth of Google’s advertising activities.
Even a “draconian” estimate of fiscal damage was limited to whittling perhaps a percent off Alphabet’s revenue, Morgan Stanley said in a note to investors.
”It is a hit on their revenue, but it is an even bigger hit on their brand; on their reputation,” Altimeter Group principal analyst Charlene Li said. “Google hasn’t taken it seriously enough.”
She recommended that Google engage advertisers directly and openly.
A solution may not be easy. Google needs to strike a balance between pleasing advertisers and those who upload videos to YouTube and are free to take their creations elsewhere if unsatisfied with their shares of ad revenue.
Google’s setbacks could benefit traditional television networks as ad dollars return there from YouTube or stall a shift to online, Morgan Stanley said.
Google rivals such as Facebook could also benefit if they prove safer havens for digital advertising.
Above all, the boycott highlights the limits of “programmatic” advertising, the practice of letting software algorithms decide pairing between marketing messages and content sought by online viewers.
The technology is broadly used by internet firms, which heavily rely on software and artificial intelligence to figure out what ads will interest people at any given moment.
Advertisers can chose “keywords” for targeting their ads, or sometimes use demographic options such as age groups or where people live.
Google and the leading social network Facebook stopped publishing ads on websites posting sensational and fabricated stories following controversy about the role “fake news” may have played in the US presidential election last year.
In February, YouTube ended an advertising partnership with its biggest star, PewDiePie, who had published videos containing anti-Semitic insults and Nazi references.
The boycott will push for programmatic ad software to become more precise and better understand the content offered for pairing in order to reduce risks for advertisers, Li said.

FORGET DRIVERLESS-CAR, SINGAPORE & DUBAI ARE RACING FOR “FLYING-TAXI

So when is Malaysia going to also join the race with flying carpets as the Raja Bomoh says he has the technology already in hand. We have alot of coconuts to fuel the Flying carpets and no need of solar energy or fuel to fly these wonderful made from coconut husk flying carpets. What yo can do , Malaysia can do better.

FORGET DRIVERLESS-CAR, SINGAPORE & DUBAI ARE RACING FOR “FLYING-TAXI

When Marty McFly was sent 30 years into the future in “Back to the Future Part II,” he arrived in a time when where there were hover-boards zipping around, people wore self-lacing shoes and flying cars were the norm. The date was Oct. 21, 2015. Now that we’re already in 2017, there is none of those gadgets, of course.
Instead, we’re being bombarded with driverless car, taxi and whatnot. Screw the driverless technology which is getting nowhere after years of research and testing. If I’m going to get killed by a driverless vehicle due to bugs, I prefer to be killed when a flying-taxi goes haywire. At least, the experience is much more awesome in a flying-taxi than a driverless- taxi.

Singapore and Dubai are two of many smart cities in the world trying to be the first to implement flying-taxi. Yes, the concept of driverless-taxi is so boring and yesterday that both cities are now competing with each other to the finishing line – by 2030. A week after Dubai announced about the project, Singapore is now singing the same song.
Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that “Ehang 184”, an electrically powered driverless drones made by Chinese company Ehang are set to start picking up passengers in July this year. The one-seater passenger drones have already been seen hovering above the sand dunes near the city’s airfield during test flights.

However, the exact details of the project’s logistics are yet to be revealed. Dubai’s RTA says the concept of flying-taxi, part of self-driving vehicles strategy in the city, would account for a quarter (25%) of journeys made in Dubai, by 2030. But before that, Dubai has to convince its first guinea-pig customer to take a trip, which will not be more than 30-minute due to battery limitation.
Not wanting to be left out, Singapore’s Ministry of Transport told about 400 participants at a forum yesterday that flying-taxi in the small island is not a matter of “if but when”. In fact, Permanent Secretary Pang Kin Keong says that Singaporeans can “bet your money” on having the new mode of transport (flying-taxi) by 2030.

Mr. Pang explained that there will be a rich and growing range of urban-mobility means and one of the options is the convergence of land and air mobility. He said that in another 13 years, it may be possible for people in Singapore to ride in a driverless pod to work, cycle to the gym after work, and then take an aerial taxi home.
Singaporeans can expect one or a combination of three flying-taxi solutions for the island, as showcased by Mr. Phang to the audience – the Hoversurf Scorpion by a Russian start-up, the Volocopter VC200 from German company e-volo and of course, the Ehang 184 autonomous aerial vehicle from China.

In order to eliminate the problem of empty spaces on buses, Mr. Pang told the audience that Singapore is also looking at on-demand public bus services for areas with low-ridership. Unlike Dubai, the Singapore’s Ministry of Transport did not reveal further details when the island will start putting human on flying drones for real life testing.
If Singapore decides to use Chinese-made Ehang 184, the same way Dubai is testing now, the island which is crowded with high-rise buildings will need to answer the issues of busy airspaces and the safety of the flying drones. With a 30-minute maximum battery time, it won’t take you very far.
Cruising at around 100 kilometres per hour, the routes of Ehang 184 will be programmed by a ground control centre through an encrypted 4G network which will monitor the flight. To call for a flying taxi a passenger need to enter their destination into an app. The drone will then map the route and transports the passenger to their destination.
It can’t fly directly but has to hop from one set landing spot to another. What happens if ground control suddenly loses the connection to the drone? The Chinese manufacturer claims in the event of any problems the drone will immediately land at the nearest safe spot. That’s provided the drone has enough battery juice to reach the spot.

Ehang 184 is powered by eight propellers, which can fold inwards as it lands so it can fit in a single car parking space. The cockpit is empty, apart from a stand to place a smartphone or tablet and a cup holder, so unlike scenes in Hollywood films, one cannot take over the drone in an emergency attempt to land it safely.

Tun you are 101% correct that Hadi is a spend force and not up to TGNA feet level and trying to bully the Malaysians as a whole to his twisted ideas and reasoning. He will be a liability to whoever he teams up in PRU14 and same goes for you too as the mess of racial and religious politics was you doing to stay in power as PM. So you also not up to TAR or Hussein Onn’s feet and sad to say Tun Razak molded you into his image and you carried out his dream of racist and religious domination by the Malays. Tun Badawi was a better human being than you, Hadi, Najib and the entire racist. I have met Tun Badawi and he is a humble and simple man but it was not enough for you as you could not stand or understand him for not being racist like you. I pity PH as they will feel the wrath of the voters as they the voters just hate what you did to the beautiful country

PAS IN TROUBLE BECAUSE HADI’S NOT UP TO MARK COMPARED TO NIK AZIZ, ASRI & FADZIL NOOR: MAHATHIR HITS BULLSEYE WITH RARE PERSONAL COMMENT ON ‘UNCHARISMATIC’ PAS CHIEF

Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has attributed to PAS’ confused stand on working with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) to its president Abdul Hadi Awang, whom he said lacked charisma.
“I sensed that that PAS is pretty much confused, like I have said recently.
“Sometimes it seems that they are keen to join us (Pakatan Harapan) but other times they are not.
“They (PAS) asked us to organise a joint-meeting but when we set the date, they said they did not ask for it, so there is no proper coordination in PAS,” New Straits Times reported Mahathir saying at a press conference after attending a meeting between Bersatu and Harapan leaders in Kedah at the party’s headquarters in Stargate, Alor Setar.
“The party led by Hadi is uncoordinated, especially when it keeps changing stand on cooperation with Bersatu.
“Yes, there is a difference (with the past). Hadi has less charisma than (former presidents) Fadzil Noor, Nik Aziz Nik Mat and Mohamad Asri Muda.
“People are making all sort of allegations against him (Hadi) but he is incapable of responding to the accusations,” he was reported saying.

PAS leaders have contradicted one another on whether they intend to cooperate with Bersatu in the coming general election.
While Hadi claims the party will not work with Bersatu since the latter has ties with DAP and Amanah, his deputy Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has indicated discussions are still in progress.
Meanwhile Bersatu supreme council member Muhammad Faiz Na’aman in a statement today blamed the failure to rope in PAS to factional differences within the Islamist party.

BOMBSHELL – HOW MUCH LONGER DO NAJIB & ROSMAH HAVE? A MONTH… MAYBE TWO? ALREADY JHO LOW CUT BY PARIS HILTON, RIZA COLD-SHOULDERED BY LEO DI CAPRIO …

From around the Blogs Steadyaku47

BOMBSHELL – HOW MUCH LONGER DO NAJIB & ROSMAH HAVE? A MONTH… MAYBE TWO? ALREADY JHO LOW CUT BY PARIS HILTON, RIZA COLD-SHOULDERED BY LEO DI CAPRIO …

All dictators, all corrupt heads of state, all leaders who abuse and misuse the trust and power vested in them by the people who put them in office, all prime ministers, their wives, family, cohorts and anyone else who are complicit in thieving and robbing the coffers of the nation that they live in….all of them without exception, will eventually be called to account for what they have done. History have told us so!
Why does najib, rosmah, their family and all those b******* in umno and bn think that they willl be the exception?

Do they think that because the IGP, the Attorney General, the Speaker of the House, the CJ and those corrupt Judges, all now takers of dedak….do they think that nothing can touch them? Maybe “now” yes….but that “now” is a relative concept. Maybe today no one can touch them. Maybe this week, nothing will harm them….hell maybe for the next 30 days they can go on their merry way pilfering, scamming, robbing and thieving our nation’s coffers. But what of the time after that? After one month…after they lose the elections? What happens then?
Today already Jho Loh is no longer partying with Paris Hilton.

Reza Aziz is no longer a friend of Leonardo DiCaprio
najib and rosmah no longer see New York as their watering hole.

Yes Sir…things have certainly changed!
But of course they still have their money, their political office and their connections to shield them from the wrath of the people and what is to come their way when real justice do catches up with them. Already many of their cohorts have been convicted and punished for their part in the biggest scam this world has ever known – 1MDB. Already Banks have been indicted, money trials have been traced and their details put onto the public domain and the task of bringing every one of these bastards is a work in progress.
So how soon before najib and rosmah are brought to heel? How long before we see then manacled and incarcerated for being the initiator, mover and driver of this whole 1MDB scam? How soon before they shut up and shiver in fear and trepidation as they begin to understand that maybe, just maybe…..the knock on their door is not another request for more dedak but the harbinger of doom and gloom…the beginning of the inquisition as to what the two of them have done in the name of government. Armageddon!
I can’t tell you when. Mahathir, Kit Siang or Anwar can’t tell you when.
NAJIB RAZAK : RM 2,940,000,000.
But go back to the top of this page and read through that list again. That list that lists out the amount of money pocketed by those b*******.
That list was prepared by the American Department of Justice. Not by the VVIP Raja Bomoh. Not by the tweet of an IGP or the devious Malaysian Attorney General. It was prepared by the American Department of Justice. That Department don’t main main! They are answerable to the people of the United States and if you or me wants to question them about the list – we too can do so!
The US DOJ will begin the real work to prove all that soon. Very very soon. Reza Aziz is hiding behind rosmah’s skirt…and thank God she has a big butt for him to hide behind. Where will najib hide? Behind her skirt too? He can try but even the biggest butt in Malaysia cannot hide the billions taken from 1MDB. And whose butt will rosmah hide behind?
Let the games begin!
