 PETALING JAYA – The “erroneous decisions” of PAS with regard to the handling of the shariah amendment bill has landed its leaders in hot water, says Amanah.
The PAS splinter group said the leadership now had to explain how they got “played” by Umno
Amanah vice-president Mujahid Yusof Rawa said today PAS grassroots members and supporters would be angered by the sudden turn of events that had sent them back to square one.
He was commenting on Prime Minister Najib Razak’s surprise announcement last night that the government would not adopt PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s private member’s bill to amend the Shariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355).
“PAS grassroots will be very angry. They were really aggressive when Hadi’s motion was tabled in the Dewan Rakyat. They even said, among other things, that those who didn’t support Act 355 were going against Islam.
“Even the Federal Territories’ mufti called on Muslims to support the bill. But what is there to support now? PAS has been cheated by Umno,” he told FMT.
Mujahid, who is the MP for Parit Buntar, said this was just part of the consequences of PAS choosing to trust Umno despite the decades of bad blood between the two opposing parties.
He also said there was a possibility PAS would reach out to Pakatan Harapan in order to “teach Umno a lesson”.
“Hadi probably thinks Najib betrayed him, and will try to shake Najib by joining the opposition.
“But he must realise he did a lot of things that created tension not only among members of the opposition, but also members of the public. And joining the opposition solely for revenge purposes, is not a good move.”

He said Hadi and PAS had wasted everyone’s time debating the bill for over a year.
Najib’s decision had also proven that Amanah and other opposition parties were right all along for saying the motivation for the shariah bill was solely based on political considerations, said Mujahid.
That was why, he said, Amanah had consistently rejected the bill, pushing instead for shariah courts to be empowered by strengthening their organisational structures and internal management.
Amanah’s International Bureau chairman and Kuala Terengganu MP Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah said the latest development put PAS’ true motive into question.
He said this was because Hadi had two opportunities last year to ensure his bill was given a proper chance in the Dewan Rakyat.
However, Hadi had chosen instead to ignore the advice of PAS’ former spiritual leader, the late Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, who had repeatedly cautioned him against “falling into the same hole twice” by trusting Umno, added Raja Kamarul.
“In my personal opinion, Umno was just trying to weaken PAS. Hadi had the chance last year, when his bill was tabled in the Dewan Rakyat not once, but twice. He instead opted to postpone it.
“Now their grassroots members and supporters are questioning PAS for trusting Umno in the first place.
“We are not trying to urge PAS to continue pushing for the bill. But we want them to stop blaming others and start taking responsibility for their bad decisions,” Raja Kamarul said.

Najib, who is also the Barisan Nasional chairman, had said last night that the government’s decision was in line with the coalition’s practice of consensus.
“Thus the bill will continue to be a private member’s bill and it will be up to the speaker to decide. If the speaker decides to allow it then it will be tabled,” the prime minister was reported to have said.
The announcement was made two weeks after Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said BN itself would table a bill to amend Act 355 in the current Dewan Rakyat sitting, even if it risked losing some “friends”.
Hadi’s bill was first tabled in the Dewan Rakyat in May 2016. In November, Hadi amended his bill by proposing to have the punishments meted out by the Shariah Court increased to 30 years imprisonment, fines of up to RM100,000 and up to 100 strokes of the cane.
Currently, shariah criminal punishment is capped at a prison term of three years, fines of up RM5,000 and six strokes of the cane.

Yikes! A big fat No-No had just happened at the AEON One Utama shopping centre! According to a close resource, the grocery aisles of the supermarket will be shut down starting from today (31.3.2017) til 13.4.2017.

It was reported that a very ‘healthy’ and ‘well-fed’ rat was spotted on the top shelve of the beverage aisle. The rat has nicely ‘parked’ itself at the RM6.99 price tag. So probably, if you are looking for a pet rat, then you could purchase it for that price too! Joking joking…

It’s hard to tell whether the rat was asleep or dead on the shelve but one thing is for sure that authorities will most likely ‘thoroughly’ clean out the premises after this incident.

There are many scams circulating the social media if you haven’t noticed, recently AirAsia faced one where the scammers are using the brand name of AirAsia to get the public to click on their link with “AirAsia is celebrating 24 years anniversary and giving out 240 vouchers worth 500 SGD (RM1,590) each,” as bait.

It is not known whether the scam is directed only at those in Singapore or Malaysia as well. The scam directs it’s participant to a link www.airasia.com-voucher4u.com/ (the link is no longer in use) and participants are required to answer five questions to redeem the vouchers.

AirAsia party has announced a statement: “AirAsia would like to confirm this is a scam, which uses the AirAsia brand without authorisation, to lure the public to participate in its scheme.

“We strongly advise the public to disregard such scams and not to click on any links or to provide any personal details.

“AirAsia shall not be held liable for any claims pertaining to the false scheme.”

Please take note that all promotions by AirAsia are only through its official channels on AirAsia.com as well as other reliable and authorised channels, which even other airlines advertise in!

“We will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals or groups who organise illegal schemes using the AirAsia brand.”

Double and triple check if you can on any promotional message you get through social media or via text message. Do not fall victim to scam

My comments :  If you want to do a deal with Najib first you have to read "Mentally Retarded 101", a book which JoLo and family have fully memorised by now.  

It is getting closer to the elections. All the political parties have to tidy up their positions and their candidates lists.

Talk is that MIC is going to be sacrificed. Bro Kamalanathan, UMNO wants back Hulu Selangor. That is what I hear. Kamal may be sent off to Segamat or somewhere. Even the MIC seat in Cameron Highlands will be taken away. Talk is there is an Indian guy who works for Najib ("professor?") who wants to be president of the MIC. So there may be another Hadi Awang - RUU 355 situation in MIC soon. Semua akan kena liwat.

PAS itself just tergelincir and fell into the monsoon drain.  Hadi Awang and Nik Abduh have joined the 'Tuanku Abdul Rahman Club'.  They dont seem to care what happens to PAS.

There is also a revolt from Sarawak. The late Adenan Satem broke all the imaginary barriers when he practically said UMNO was 'stupid'.  The entire Sarawak started saying that UMNO was stupid - and nothing happened to Sarawak. Abang Johari is turning out to be Adenan Satem kali dua. 

And now the Sarawakians and the Sabahans are learning to talk to each other and work together.

So Najib has to be more careful about being indiscrete. The emperor has to put on some clothes. 

So the net result is Hadi has been made a fool.  I received this Malay Mail report from more than one person, including ex ABIM braders who said,  "Aiya kena tipu lagi! Tu la chakap sombongg sangat mu puak Pah"

In other words, Hadi kena liwat lagi.  

Anyway Hadi called Najib over this latest round of liwatting and suggested that Pas and UMNO kiss and make up. Here is their short conversation:

My comments :  This is a very significant comment by Pas Terengganu - Hadi Awang's home state.  Obviously PAS feels they have been seriously short changed by Najib.

The winner in all this is also DAP of course. Just days ago Najib was saying that Parti Pribumi and the new Pakatan Harapan will be dancing to the DAP's tune. 

Now PAS is accusing UMNO / BN of dancing to the MCA's tune. MCA has only seven seats in Parliament.

PAS is not aware that there are two other states in Malaysia called Sabah and Sarawak who also do not support this RUU355.  

Talk is that the DAP will contest a certain number of seats only - not enough to form a government all by themselves.  Of course with just seven seats MCA cannot even form a Village Committee.

What Najib has done is actually destroy PAS.  Just by using "cash is king".

Just got this info : The Sabah State Assembly will likely be dissolved in April and the State elections will then be held in May of this year 2017.

Kleptocrat landed in Tamil Nadu a couple of days ago. The info I get is that after he comes back, he will be spending time in Sabah. Then the Sabah assembly will be dissolved soon after that and elections will be held in May 2017.

Maybe the kleptocrats will hold a rally at the Likas Stadium. There have been sightings of crocodiles in the monsoon drains near the stadium.  My son who served at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital recalls treating a patient who survived a crocodile attack.

IGP however dodges questions on the identity of the person who requested Kim Jong Nam's body.

SUBANG JAYA: Although Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar remains coy over who wrote the letter requesting for Kim Jong Nam’s body, he says North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is legally the deceased’s next of kin.

“The next of kin (wrote the letter). Legally, Jong Un is Jong Nam’s next of kin,” Khalid said during a press conference here today.

No reporter had mentioned Jong Un’s name beforehand.

“We go about it professionally, according to the law. We return the body to the next of kin who claimed the body. So we handed it over to that next of kin,” Khalid added.

However, he refused to comment on whether Jong Un had in fact written the letter.

A Reuters report today said China’s foreign ministry confirmed that Jong Nam’s remains had been returned to North Korea.

“Relevant” North Korean citizens were also allowed to return to Pyongyang, in a deal struck with the Malaysian government. In return, the nine Malaysians initially barred from leaving North Korea were finally brought home.

At the press conference today, Khalid added that police had taken statements from the three North Koreans wanted for questioning in the murder before they were allowed to leave the country.

Jong Nam was attacked by two female assailants with a substance that an autopsy later revealed as the VX nerve agent, a chemical weapon banned by the United Nations.

The incident took place on Feb 13, in klia2.

North Korea has refused to accept the Malaysian authorities’ claim that the man murdered was Jong Nam.

They have insisted that the man was a North Korean, Kim Chol, the name stated in the passport Jong Nam used to enter Malaysia
