Illegal hawkers in USJ Subang – making of a health disaster
Lately there have been companies laying off workers, closing
down of factories and also the government not rehiring contract staff, banks
closing branches and yes result in people with families getting layoff and
finding employment is difficult in the current situation. Not to mention the downsizing
of various companies, supermarkets etc. I feel for the unemployed as all of
sudden they are left with no earning and a family to feed and a roof for a
home.
The mushrooming of illegal road side stalls everywhere in
UJS selling nasi lemak , coconut water/shakes , nasi Padang , monster curry pap
and so on. No they are not license and I do not think they have done a medical
check and vaccinated against cholera , typhoid and other diseases which can spread when handling
food. Who knows these stall operators could be diseases carriers and are
unaware.
On humanitarian grounds license the stall operators and get
the checked medically and also vaccinated. Treat this as PH Selangor government
special program to help the unemployed to earn a decent living.
Then again it is the Malaysian attitude to act after the
fact when there is a medical emergency. Government of opposition same , care
only about the seat they are on and not for the common folks
Where is the State assembly person for Subang Jaya or his or
her representative?
