Now you are telling the
Non-Malays after 60 years of independence and why now is it because GE 14 PRU
14 around the corner and MIC needs help. Poodah and tell these weasels go and
find a shit hole to go to while waiting for the devil to take them away. 60
years of hoodwinking the Malaysia Indians and still help from non-Indians to
survive. Can now go to NRI and remove AL or A/P and also can get NRI to change
religion also.
This issue is a
non-starter and parents have known that it was a tactic of British and BN to
hold parents responsible for anything bad the kids do and punish the family collectively
and also if one votes opposition and then whole family are penalized.
Home ministry says it is
not compulsory for Indian parents to add them in their children’s birth
certificates.
KUALA LUMPUR: The home ministry has
confirmed that the usage of “son of” (a/l) and “daughter of” (a/p) in Hindu
names is not compulsory.
In a written reply, the ministry said it was the norm for Indian
parents to add these abbreviations on the birth certificates of their children.
“According to the present procedure, the
National Registration Department registers a child’s information based on the
application form and an initial draft of the birth certificate that has been
approved and signed by the applicant, before the actual certificate is issued.
“If the applicant does not want to use a/l and a/p, the department
will ask the biological parents or the guardian to agree or not to agree to
using the words on the child’s birth certificate.”
The ministry was responding to Sivarasa Rasiah (PKR-Subang), who
had asked the home ministry to state if the department had made it compulsory
for Indian parents to include a/l and a/p to the Hindu names on their
children’s birth certificates.
