2017 World Whiskies Awards Winners Finally Revealed!




Every year premier palates join forces to praise and rank the world best whiskies. Now, while this may sound like everyone’s dream job , the World Whiskies Awards are serious business. It’s the yearly ritual that many a distillery across the globe cherishes given their whisky’s acceptance into the playing field; an even bigger reward when their batch places in the event. It’s presented in conjunction with the UK-based Whisky Magazine along with The Drinks Report for our reading pleasure.
Winners are announced for 13 separate categories of the spirit (such as single malt, blended and grain) and once crowned, they take home their priced weighty glass trophies and an enhanced reputation among fellow distillers. It’s the battle royale of everyone’s preferred spirit. So without further ado, let’s take a look at the winners:
