I hope the police catch him and beat the shit out this guy. I have travelled and drove around all of Malaysia but the motorcyclist and motorist in Penang are crazy lot and beating red lights at traffic junctions is a normal play for them.

Yet another accident in Penang, this time a 58-year-old woman was hit by a motorcyclist in a hit and run incident in Pulau Tikus and has died.
A dashboard camera recorded the whole incident, in under 12-second the lady was hit by a speeding motorcycle. The video has gone viral and had over 36,000 shares on Facebook posted by Yuan Loong.

Foo Swee Wah, the victim, suffered severe head injuries and a broken leg in the 10 am incident earlier today and died at 8.45 pm.

George Town OCPD Assistant Commissioner Mior Faridalathrash Wahid urged the motorcyclist to turn himself in. The offense carries a jail term of between 2 and 10 years, a fine of up to RM20,000 and suspension of the person’s driving license.

“We have identified the motorcycle’s registration number and are tracing the owner,” Mior said. He also added that the case was being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act for reckless driving resulting in death.
