PAS must stop blaming everybody for their failure of having Sharia Law implemented in Malaysia. PAS members broke away from UMNO in 1951 due to the majority of UMNO members who wanted UMNO to be a Nationalistic and secular Party and also Malaysia to have a secular constitution. The disgruntled UMNO members who wanted the new nation to be a Theoretic country will Sharia is the supreme law of the new Nation broke of and formed the ancestor of PAS which was PMIP.

PMIP or PAS did not make headway in National politics because of their insistence on making Sharia Law supreme in Malaysia and the majority of the Malays and others were dead against it. PAS only made a bit headway in 1980s onwards because UMNO under Mahathir and Anwar started doing the Religious Tango against PAS and this gave PAS;s religious agenda publicity when UMNO introduced limit Sharia law as and an alternative Sharia court system.

PAS try mixed of formulas working with Opposition or government parties to further their agenda but the majority of the population watches in aghast at how UMNO was falling for the PA game for the Malay votes.

With no clear alternative, the majority of Malays kept on voting BN to have the lesser evil among UMNO and PAS which was UMNO continue ruling the country. Now with clear alternative, the game has changed and UMNO and PAS are no longer on the radar of the 80% majority Malays and other Muslims. They know that if UMNO and PAS wins these elections, then their way of life will be endangered as UMNO and PAS will take it as green light to push for full Sharia law thinking that the majority supported it. UMNO and PAS are in for a big shock come GE14 as the Majority of moderate Muslims have now a very clear alternative in PH which wants the country to be secular and religion consign from the public life to the homes.

Like they say the day Malays stop drinking, Carlsberg, Anchor, Guinness, Tiger and other Beers might as well close up their Breweries in Malaysia as it will not be economically viable to operated and sell Beers or Alcohol in the countries and the Hospitality business will be in sunset and tourist will give Malaysia a pass like an asteroid giving Earth a big pass.
