Malaysia-China projects will create 10,000 jobs but not all for locals BUT BUT

Looks the mall boy does not know his mathematics. He says estimated 53% of more than 10,000 jobs will be for Malaysians (I guess rest 47% will be Chinese from Mainland China) but then he says job opportunities which means jobs of 3,648 will be created and it is only 36.48%. Even the jobs reserved for Malaysians will go to foreign labour like Banglas as it is more lucrative can make commission on supply of labour. Why lie like this .

Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Chua Tee Yong says job opportunities for Malaysians was one of the requirements for 'some' of these projects.

 Joint projects with China will create more than 10,000 job opportunities in Malaysia but not all will go to Malaysians.

“This project, for example, will create 3,648 job opportunities. An estimated 53% of these jobs will be created specifically for Malaysians,” said Chua.

When Wan Azizah asked him to state if all the 10,000 plus jobs were going to Malaysians, Chua referred to a steel mill project in the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP) where more than half the jobs will go to locals.

Raja Bahrin says report of expert panel to UN Security Council lists Malaysia as being present in Saudi-led joint military campaign.

The government has been urged to come clean on whether Malaysia has joined the Saudi-led military campaign in Yemen following a report by the United Nations that included Malaysia.

Kuala Terengganu MP Raja Bahrin Shah said Malaysia’s involvement is mentioned in the document submitted by the UN’s Panel of Experts on Yemen to the Security Council on Jan 11 and adopted for use on Jan 27.

“Malaysia cannot claim to not know and not acknowledge the panel report as Malaysia is also a member of this UN committee,” he said in a statement today.
