GUAN ENG PULLS THE RUG FROM UNDER NAJIB & HADI’S FEET: ‘NOT AT ALL ANTI-ISLAM’ DAP TO LET MUSLIM MPs VOTE TO THEIR CONSCIENCE ON HUDUD BILL

KUALA LUMPUR— Despite the DAP’s opposition to a controversial Bill to enhance the Shariah courts’ punitive powers, the secular party’s Muslim lawmakers will be allowed to vote according to their conscience.
Mohd Ariff Sabri Abdul Aziz, one of only two DAP federal legislators, told a news conference in Parliament today that he is free to support or reject the private member’s Bill mooted by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

“DAP has told us that it’s a vote of conscience, it is up to us to vote how,” the Raub MP said.
He added that he will be voting against the law proposal, better known by its Malay short form RUU355, as he believes the version suggested by PAS is wrong.
“RUU355 is an effort to make Islam great again. The way PAS is doing it is not right, that’s why we are against it. I have got reasons why I won’t vote,” Mohd Ariff explained.
DAP’s parliamentary whip Anthony Loke said the rest of the party’s non-Muslim MPs will vote against the Bill when the time comes.
“All of our 36 MPs will oppose the Bill. We will give an explanation why we don’t agree during the debate. We will appoint two MPs to represent us,” the Kluang MP said.
The DAP is the largest Opposition party in the Dewan Rakyat and has repeatedly said it is opposed to the Bill which it deems unconstitutional because it sharpens separate punishments for Muslims and non-Muslims.
The Bill aims to raise the Shariah courts’ maximum sentencing limits to 30 years’ jail, RM100,000 fine and 100 strokes of the cane. The current limits are three years’ jail, RM5,000 fine and six strokes.
The Bill was first passed for tabling in the Dewan Rakyat last year but debate has been delayed since.
Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was reported saying that the government will take over Hadi’s private member’s Bill.
However, the non-Muslim component parties in the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition insist they have not agreed to the move.
Hadi was also reported saying PAS has no qualms about BN taking over the Bill, but would like to look at the draft first.

UNMISTAKABLE SIGN OF 1MDB GUILT: JOHARI GETS ONE HOUR TO TELL HIS SIDE OF THE STORY, YET DARE NOT ACCEPT TONY’S DIALOGUE OFFER

Must be afraid and very afraid as he knows he will be slaughtered literally by the Opposition with questions after questions and may crack under pressure and leak out all the wrong doing by 1MDB and then again slaughtered, skinned, salted and dried by the PM gang of thieves

UNMISTAKABLE SIGN OF 1MDB GUILT: JOHARI GETS ONE HOUR TO TELL HIS SIDE OF THE STORY, YET DARE NOT ACCEPT TONY’S DIALOGUE OFFER

Finance Minister II Johari Abdul Ghani has turned down DAP lawmaker Tony Pua’s invitation to attend a fund-raising dinner to put forth his arguments on 1MDB.
“Thanks for inviting me, but I have said enough in my open letter to him. I hear him and I take note of his opinion. I respect him as (an) opposition (lawmaker).

“I have to do my job as a minister and I would do the best for the country,” Johari told Malaysiakini.
Elaborating, the Umno supreme council member said attending the dinner would not resolve the 1MDB issue in the manner Pua hopes.
“Even if I had lunch or dinner (with Pua), it would not solve the problem the way he wants, because I am not the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), police and investigation agencies. So, let these agencies do their work.
“Nowhere in my letter did I mention I want these agencies to stop their investigation,” he added.
Meanwhile, Johari also pointed to a KiniTV video on March 21, 2016, where Pua had said that a leader must go on leave if charged in court for alleged wrongdoings.
“Ask him if he is a principled man, and to explain his statement in the video
“Apparently innocent until proven guilty is not applicable to BN as far as Pua is concerned,” he added.
In the video, Pua was asked if Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng should go on leave during the period when the latter was being investigated by the MACC.
“When MACC has the ability to charge, then the person must go on leave. Investigate quickly, finish the investigation (and decide whether) to charge or not to charge,” he had said.
Guan Eng has been charged with two counts of corruption, but still remains in office.
This morning, Pua in extending the invitation, said Johari would be given an hour to speak to the voters in the DAP MP’s constituency of Petaling Jaya Utara.
He said the minister would also have the chance to put 1MDB’s chief critics “out of business”, since those slated to attend the May 6 dinner are former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang, Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu and PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli.
Last week, Johari penned an open letter to Pua urging him to cease his relentless attacks on 1MDB.
Johari also said that the Petaling Jaya Utara PJU voters had cast their ballots for Pua to do better things, instead of being obsessed over 1MDB.

BOMBSHELL – MALAYS BACKSTABBED AGAIN BY NAJIB & CO: TOP SECRET DATA ON NEP, SPECIAL RIGHTS RELEASED TO FOREIGN FIRM TO HELP WIN GE14?

What else is new here in Malaysia and what ever BN-UMNO does not shock me anymore. Just a bunch of traitors to their race , religion and country

BOMBSHELL – MALAYS BACKSTABBED AGAIN BY NAJIB & CO: TOP SECRET DATA ON NEP, SPECIAL RIGHTS RELEASED TO FOREIGN FIRM TO HELP WIN GE14?

BN-UMNO REPORTED TO HAVE PROVIDED FOREIGN COMPANY WITH CLASSIFIED DATA ON MALAYSIA’S POPULATION : DOOR OPEN TO DATA BEING USED TO UNDERMINE NEP. BUMPUTERA RIGHTS
It is well understood that the raw data that is used to compute  Malaysia’s national statistics have always been subject to the Official Secrets Act. The reasons are obvious, given that statistics are used to determine the  implementation of affirmative action plans pursuant to the New Economic Policy (NEP), and to preserve and promote Bumiputera rights

Now it seems that data is being provided a foreign company in an attempt to win votes. The problem here is obvious;  data can be used in any way that those with access to that data determine. It can be sold to any foreign power interested in undermining the country by attacking the NEP. It could be used to discredit affirmative action policies and special privileges. The motives are endless, for such is the nature of raw data; a fact well understood from the time the data was collected, and kept under tight controls.
Now, read on:

Latest On Geneva’s 1MDB Snooper Raises Fears That Najib Is Employing ‘Big Data’ Tactics To Try Swing GE14
Journalists from Switzerland’s Le Temps newspaper have unearthed a startling connection between the snooping private investigator, Nicolas Giannakopoulos, who conducted a bizarre seminar on 1MDB at Geneva University and Malaysia’s governing Barisan National party.
The newspaper has in the process identified concerns that individuals closely connected to Barisan National are preparing to employ the latest highly controversial (and expensive) ‘Big Data’ tactics to swing voters
SLC (Cambridge Analytica) uses ‘Big Data’ to influence voters. It’s SE Asia Office is in KL
Nicolas Giannakopoulos, who was recently suspended from his position at the University following an expose by Sarawak Report, is the Swiss agent for SLC (otherwise known as Cambridge Analytica).
SLC specialises in collecting a mass of data, particularly about individuals in key marginal consituencies, in order to seek to deliberately influence their voting patterns. The company is credited with having swung Brexit in the UK and the Donald Trump win in the US.

SLC has opened in KL under a BN PR aparachik – its Swiss agent is none other than Giannakopoulos
Le Temps points out that SLC has now opened an office in KL headed by one of BN’s established public relations figures, Azrin Zizal, who has made no secret in public that his messaging to voters is to stick with the “safe” and “tried and tested” BN, rather risk than an ‘uncertain future’ with the opposition.
The connection provides a concrete link between agents active on behalf of Barisan National and Giannakopoulos, who roused the suspicions of Sarawak Report after persistently seeking to question the editor about 1MDB and his efforts to engage with members of the opposition parties, asking about their politics and their prospects.
The snooping culminated in a highly expensive “seminar” hosted by Giannakopoulos at the  University of Geneva, together with operatives linked to a documentary film project on 1MDB, which has also been identified to Sarawak Report as having been infiltrated by BN.
Giannakopoulos originally claimed that the seminar and subsequent travelling to meet further with opposition figures was funded by the University itself as part of its academic programmes.
However, when pressed by Sarawak Report, he admitted it had nothing to do with the University and claimed he had paid for the thousands of dollars in expenses from his “own pocket”.
After Sarawak Report complained to the University it suspended Giannakopoulos, who has been long widely suspected of using his association with its Global Studies Unit as a front for his raft of private businesses, which are associated with commercial ‘black ops’, frequently on behalf foreign governments, such as Kazakhstan and now Malaysia:

DON’T BRING YOUR ‘BIG BROTHER, SMALL BROTHER’ BAGGAGE INTO PAKATAN – DAP’S ANTHONY REBUFFS MUHYIDDIN’S ‘MUST BE MALAY-LED GOVT

UMNO fifth Column Party Pribumi are now showing their true colours and are trying to Hijacking the sure victory by PH opposition. Do not trust these UMNO in or out fifth columnist. Beware of the snakes which slitter into your house under the pretexts of helping but end up killing you

DON’T BRING YOUR ‘BIG BROTHER, SMALL BROTHER’ BAGGAGE INTO PAKATAN – DAP’S ANTHONY REBUFFS MUHYIDDIN’S ‘MUST BE MALAY-LED GOVT’

DAP organising secretary Anthony Loke has shot down the possibility of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) having the leadership reins in Pakatan Harapan.
Malaysians would not support Harapan, Loke said, if its parties no longer operate on an equal platform, which sets the coalition apart from BN.
“Malaysians do not want to see another Umno taking shape,” the Seremban MP told reporters in Parliament building this afternoon.
Over the weekend, Muhyiddin said Bersatu was looking to propose a Malay-based coalition in which Bersatu would be among the main parties to champion the party’s struggles in the coalition.
“It must be a Malay-led government.
“I am mentioning this here not because I want to favour anyone but because I know the majority of the rakyat are Malays,” Muhyiddin said, adding that the rights of non-Malays would be safeguarded as well.
The former Umno number two and former deputy prime minister also suggested that Harapan changes its name to ‘Barisan Rakyat’.
Loke said there is no such thing as a “big brother or younger brother” in Harapan as the component parties are of equal strength.
“We don’t have a single party that is dominant in Harapan. That is the difference between Harapan and BN.
“Everyone knows that Umno is the dominant party in BN, and Harapan has no intention of emulating the BN approach
“If we use the BN approach and make any of the parties (in Harapan) dominant, it would not garner support from Malaysians,” Loke added.
Previously, Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad urged the opposition to take a leaf out of BN’s playbook, with regard to being unified during elections.
Mahathir also recommended that Harapan changes its name, as well as creates a new logo and manifest.

ZAHID CROWS – UMNO BETS ON NAJIB’S OUSTER BEFORE GE14: ‘1MDB DEBATE’ NAZRI SOUNDS THE WARNING – EXACTLY WHEN & HOW UP TO ‘TEAM B’ BOSS ZAHID

The plot by team B now in full swing and the end is near for Team A and it will come sooner than later

ZAHID CROWS – UMNO BETS ON NAJIB’S OUSTER BEFORE GE14: ‘1MDB DEBATE’ NAZRI SOUNDS THE WARNING – EXACTLY WHEN & HOW UP TO ‘TEAM B’ BOSS ZAHID
Hi Guys. It’s just past 3 pm in Melbourne. It has been a nice sunny day with a slight wind that sort of cools everything down before it gets too hot. Have been feeling physically rundown but mentally running on song. Posted five articles since this morning and this is my fifth. Four of those article were written by me….and the other one on1MDB was a cut and paste affair.
How, some of you have asked me, do I write four articles in a matter of hours? With great difficulty guys…with great difficulty….but when I can, I will push myself to do so because “ilham” or “inspiration” to do so does not stay with me all the time. It comes and goes. When it comes – I harness what physical and mental energy I have within me, sit in front of my MAC and start hitting the keyboard!
Have just had a late lunch and had some time to reflect…and I have another 30 minutes before the start of the Australian Grand Prix ….hence this piece.
I want to thank those of you who have assisted me with donations and words of encouragement to carry on blogging. The money and those words of encouragement has resulted in 152 post so far this month…and still counting. Every dollar pushes me to blog and blog and blog. So please…do keep sending me those dollars. There are more things I want to do to this blog, on this blog and for this blog…..and the money helps.
WHO IS WATCHING NAJIB’S BACK
There seems to be a sense of desperation emitting from Seri Perdana. Even from way back, najib has always Nbeen looking over his shoulder fearing that dedak alone will not keep his enemies at bay. Now he also has to keep a look out for those approaching him from the front. He has already rid himself of Mahyuddin…but what of Zahid?

Compared to Zahid, Mahyuddin is a pussycat!
And who is watching najib’s back for him? rosmah! When Zahid makes his move, the first inkling najib will have of his imminent dismissal will be rosmah making her way to the airport (with or without najib) leaving for parts unknown for exile. Just as Anwar used Zahid to signal his intent re Mahathir….Zahid already has his machai lined up to do that job on najib.
The timing and the place is for Zahid to decide. The time will most probably be before the next general election. The place? That is for Zahid to know and for us, najib and rosmah, to find out
What you guy want to say, but cannot say, I will say in this blog.
What you guys want to think aloud but cannot …I will think aloud for you and post it on this blog.
There is much work to be done menjelang the next general election. If you like what I write do share it on your blogs and FB page. …..just as I “pinjam” anything I think should be shared with you guys from others and put it on this blog. .
Ok guys the grand prix will start in minutes….I am signing off now.
Lawan mesti Lawan.

‘Scared’ father of Bangladesh ‘tree girl’ ends treatment

‘Scared’ father of Bangladesh ‘tree girl’ ends treatment

 | March 27, 2017

Doctors hailed the initial surgery as a success, but Sahana's father Mohammad Shahjahan said it had only aggravated her condition and he wanted to spare her from further procedures.

DHAKA: A young Bangladeshi girl diagnosed with a rare condition known as “tree man syndrome” has left hospital, her father told AFP Monday, saying he feared she would never be cured.
Surgeons operated on Sahana Khatun last month and removed some of the bark-like growths she has developed from the extremely rare condition of epidermodysplasia verruciformisa.
The 10-year-old is believed to be the first female in the world to suffer from the condition, also known as “tree man syndrome”, and was being treated for free by the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Doctors hailed the initial surgery as a success, but Sahana’s father Mohammad Shahjahan said it had only aggravated her condition and he wanted to spare her from further procedures.
“They removed the bark-like growths and they grew again more thick and strong,” he told AFP.
“I am scared. They said my daughter needed another 8-10 operations. But what’s the guarantee that she will be cured after that.

Samanta Lal Sen, head of the hospital’s burns and plastic surgery unit, said he had wanted to keep the girl in hospital for further surgery but her father, a poor labourer, refused.
“He left with his daughter, complaining there was no progress. We asked them to stay a few more weeks for treatment,” Sen told AFP.
Fewer than half a dozen people are known to suffer from the syndrome, among them 27-year-old Bangladeshi rickshaw-puller Abul Bajandar.
He has undergone at least 21 surgical procedures to remove huge growths each weighing five kilos (11 pounds), and doctors believe he may be the first sufferer to be cured.
Sahana’s father, a widower, said he had also struggled financially during her treatment.
“I had to remain at her side without going to work. I didn’t have any money to feed her properly,” he said.

“She’s the only family I’ve got left and I don’t want to see her sadly sitting in a hospital bed.”

IN MAJOR BLOW TO NAJIB & HADI, SELANGOR SULTAN PRAISES AZMIN: ‘I AM FOND OF THE LEADERSHIP OF MY MENTRI BESAR’

Yes the Malaysian Royals also want to be on the right side of history and they are already sensing the mood of political change blowing across the country. They want to be there to contribute and not consign to history by supporting the present corrupted Government ruling party who have forgotten how to Government for the people but now governing for themselves only. I only can say this “ Welcome on board and every extra hand counts “

IN MAJOR BLOW TO NAJIB & HADI, SELANGOR SULTAN PRAISES AZMIN: ‘I AM FOND OF THE LEADERSHIP OF MY MENTRI BESAR’

SHAH ALAM – Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said today he wants a stable state government that does not engage in polemics and divisive politics.
In his opening address of the first state legislative assembly meeting this year, he said the state government’s focus should be on delivering economic and social prosperity to its people.

“Before I end my speech, I would like to state that politics should not only be about attaining power,” he said.
“Politics in its truest definition is meant as a platform to deliver good governance to develop the state.
“As for this I want the state government to be stable and continue to put forward pro-people agendas so as to stay above polemics and parochial politics,” he added.
In that sense, the Selangor ruler praised the leadership of Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, describing the PKR leader’s policies as consistent with the needs of the state and its people.
“I would like to say that I am fond of the leadership of my mentri besar who continues to produce policies that are pro-people,” he said.
The state controlled by PKR, DAP and PAS continues to lead in contribution to the national economy, totalling at 26.6 per cent of GDP for 2015, larger than the federal capital city Kuala Lumpur which stood at 15 per cent.
Selangor is also at the forefront in welfare policies compared to other states.
Until today, it continues to provide free water to poor households and recently, Azmin announced a healthcare fund for lower-income earners.
Last year, Selangor’s cash reserve grew to RM3.9 billion from RM3.26 billion the previous year, making it possible for the Azmin administration to table a RM3.4 billion budget for 2017, the biggest in the state history.
Sultan Sharafuddin said he was happy with the state’s development and progress, and urged the state government to continue the momentum.
