Actor Sulaiman Yassin slapped Teo after the film producer criticised the event's moderator for allegedly overlooking those seated at the back.

PETALING JAYA: Two local artistes were involved in a scuffle at a National Transformation 2050 (TN50) dialogue for the entertainment industry attended by Prime Minister Najib Razak in Putrajaya tonight.The altercation reportedly took place between actor Sulaiman Yassin, more popularly known as Mat Over, and well-known Metrowealth Pictures film producer and CEO David Teo.
Teo had criticised the session’s moderator, Rosyam Nor, for allegedly overlooking those seated at the back when it came to asking questions or speaking, theSundaily said.

At this point, Sulaiman was said to have rushed over and suddenly slapped Teo.

Security officials subsequently escorted both Teo and Sulaiman from the venue, a hall at Seri Perdana.

The duo emerged several minutes later and also apologised to Najib, drawing applause from the crowd

Not many Malaysian know how Felda was hijacked by UMNO to enslave a segment of Malays for secured Parliament seats

Not many Malaysians or even the Malays know that Felda was created not to uplift the lives of the Malays but to enslave them for political purposes. Show me one Felda scheme have strike it big and the settlers and now worth millions. Felda was needed to create safe 100% Malay Parliament and seat seats which will be UMNO-BN fixed deposit seats to enable them to rule and plunder Malaysia for eternity 

The plan was to locate 500,000 Malays to the hinter land of West Malaysia and creating settlements plantations in the virgin forest and ensure that these settlers do not get rich or comfortable and to be always indebted to BN-UMNO for giving them land and a place to call it home. The catch was that they continue to Support and vote BN-UMNO or lose it all. The original settlers who owe a debt of gratitude to BN-UMNO for enslaving them and relocating them in the middle of nowhere and keep them indebted to Felda for buying their produce and lending them money for replanting .Felda kept the prices low as not to make the settlers rich and comfortable and every elections an envelope of RM 500 will not be enough to make them grateful if they are rich and if poor will be grateful if poor. Scheme was thought of and implemented by Tun Razak as a BN-UMNO fixed deposit but destroyed as UMNO – BN fix deposit by his son Najib. That is what we call Karma 

Now it is going to change hands from one land lord to another land lord and treated as cattle folder only

The FELDA settlers are not but indebted labourers who are in a cycle of vicious debts that they cannot pay off because BN-UMNO made sure of it and also made sure they do not owe the land too.

PPBM: BN ‘safe deposit’ seats in Felda areas now history

Opposition parties will continue to bank on the Mahathir factor to capture more votes from Felda settlers in the next general election. 

PETALING JAYA: PPBM, the opposition party led by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, believes the changing political situation in the country will help it make further inroads into electoral

constituencies covering Felda schemes which are dubbed “safe deposit seats” of Barisan Nasional (BN).

“Felda’s BN safe deposit seats are now history. People change as the situations change. If Felda is doing well, the settlers will continue to support BN. But it is public knowledge now what has been happening in Felda,” said PPBM information chief Kamaruddin Md Nor.

“BN might have had a strong hold in Felda areas in the past, but the settlers are able to think for themselves and they are aware of everything that is going on in Felda.”

Kamaruddin was referring to the financial woes and mismanagement besetting the federal land development agency, leaving many settlers with huge debts and struggling to make ends meet.

Settlers were also disappointed with the lack of returns from their investments in Felda Global Ventures Holdings, a subsidiary of Felda, listed in 2012 amid much hype of being the largest crude palm oil producer in the world.





The listing raised billions of ringgit and the settlers received a windfall of RM15,000 per family, but the company’s share price sank later from nearly RM5 apiece to below RM2.

The Auditor-General’s Report also raised concerns over the alleged improper spending of funds amounting to RM200 million.

“Though the Felda chairman (Shahrir Abdul Samad) admits that various things were done without following protocol in the agency, it will take time to win back the confidence of Felda settlers again,” said Kamaruddin.

He said opposition parties, which had been conducting their own programmes in areas fringing the Felda schemes, had received positive feedback from the settlers.

“The programmes had to be conducted outside the schemes because no approval was given by the Felda management but we still received positive turnouts when the settlers went out of the schemes to join our programmes,” Kamaruddin said.

He also refuted claims that Mahathir’s influence among Felda settlers was on the wane.

In fact, Kamaruddin said, opposition parties were banking on the PPBM chairman’s influence in the 14th general election to attract votes from among the settlers.

There are about 60 parliamentary seats covering Felda schemes, out of which 54 were won by BN in the last general election

Drunk Australian Man Assaults Police Officers At Singapore’s Changi Airport

To some, alcohol is the best thing that could happen to human kind. Although, some people imbibe this gift responsibly, some of us can’t help but get carried away! Well, we have all done something we regret when we are drunk but this man have taken drunken stupidity to the next level.

An Australian man is facing 11 charges, and a possible caning, after he resisted arrest and assaulted police officers at Singapore Airport. The drunken scuffle was caught on video and has since gone viral.

Jason Peter Darragh, 44, was arrested by six police officers at Singapore’s Changi Airport on April 20, after he pushed an officer to the ground.

The video was uploaded to YouTube on May 6 by Ben Bonifant, who took the video as he waited for his girlfriend to locate her passport.

“Police officers got a rude awakening when this bloke decides to pick a fight with them and resists arrest,” he wrote in the video’s description.

“Oh and he loses his shoe.”

The footage starts as two police officers approach the man to talk to him, after he reportedly threw another man’s phone on the ground. Darragh responds by putting his headphones on and dancing.



“Don’t touch me, f**khead,” he tells the officers as they try to escort him away. Darragh pushes them away and tries to escape. The officers follow him and one of them hits him with his cane.



The three scuffle and Darragh knocks one of the officers to the ground. Onlookers and security guards intervene to help the officers, but they are no match for Darragh, who continues to resist.

“I’ll knock your f***ing head off,” he says.



The Australian appeared in court on Saturday and was charged with 11 charges including assaulting a police officer, using vulgar language, committing mischief, using criminal force and two counts of public annoyance, the Strait Times reports.

Not all the charges stem from the airport incident. It was revealed in court that Darragh was found drunk and “incapable of taking care of himself,” at Orchard Towers.

He also caused annoyance at a taxi rank on May 1, and was reportedly drunk at McGettigan’s CQ Bar in Clarke Quay the next day.

Darragh’s bail was set at $20,000 and he is scheduled to be back in court Friday.

Thailand Student Shares Her Horrifying Tattoo Removal Experience On Social Media!!!

It was reported by Daily Mail that a 21-year-old Thailand student, Pasuda Reaw, who wanted to get her tattoo removed had gone through the most life-scarring experience ever, literally.

So apparently, Reaw had three roses tattooed across her chest but for work reasons, she decided to get it removed. Probably due to lack of funds, Reaw opted for the non-surgical approach, Rejuvi, back in February.



Rejuvi tattoo removal is said to be a non-surgical approach, which offers a safe alternative to traditional invasive laser treatment and delivers good results, however, in Reaw’s case, that statement seemed to be very far off.

 

Immediately after the treatment, her nightmare began.

“I began the treatment and immediately it was itchy and hurting a lot. The skin has taken a long time to come off. It was like torture and I could not sleep. Laser (treatment) is a lot of money but I wish I had done that. At times the pain of the itching and the scar were unbearable.”

Just 10 days after the treatment, pus started to fill the area where her tattoo was removed. Gradually, her skin started to peel (unlike the way that it was supposed to) and this ‘provoked’ her to pull off the tattoo by herself.



Though now ultimately the tattoo has been removed, there’s a huge and horrible looking pink scar ‘engraved’ on her chest. Reaw’s personal experience has definitely served as a warning for other tattoo lovers in the world, to be wiser with the choices that they make.

 

Though it was probably a tough decision for Reaw to post up the horrifying images on her social media, she did it anyway and warns others to be more careful in the future.

It’s Time To Impeach Donald Trump, Democrat Says On The House Floor

“No one is above the law,” said Rep. Al Green (D-Texas). “That includes the president of the United States.

WASHINGTON ― Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) called for impeaching President Donald Trump from the House floor on Wednesday.

“I rise today, Mr. Speaker, to call for the impeachment of the president of the United States of America for obstruction of justice,” Green began in a sermon-like speech.

“I do not do this for political purposes,” he continued. “I do it because, Mr. Speaker, there is a belief in this country that no one is above the law. And that includes the president of the United States of America. Mr. Speaker, our democracy is at risk.”

Trump is in hot water for, among other things, firing FBI Director James Comey, who had been investigating Trump’s campaign and its potential ties to Russian officials who interfered in last year’s election to help Trump win. On top of that, explosive news reports this week revealed that Trump shared highly classified information with Russian officials during an Oval Office visit last week and previously asked Comey to stop investigating him and his team.

Details are still murky on the latter charge, but lawmakers in both parties have said that if it’s true, it constitutes obstruction of justice, which is grounds for impeachment. Green says it’s time to start the process.

“The president must be impeached,” he said. “Impeachment does not mean the president will be found guilty. It simply means that the House of Representatives will bring charges against the president. It’s similar to an indictment. ... Then the Senate can have a trial to determine the guilt or the innocence of the president.”

The Texas Democrat rattled off a website, impeachdonaldtrumpnow.org, and urged people to sign a petition there saying they agree it’s time to begin impeachment proceedings. It is ultimately the public, he said, that will decide whether impeachment happens.

“I am a voice in the wilderness,” Green said, now shouting. “But I assure you that history will vindicate me ... I assure you that no lie can live forever.”

His dramatic speech was capped off by a warning from the lawmaker overseeing House proceedings: “Members are reminded to refrain from engaging in personalities toward the president, such as accusations that he committed an impeachable offense.”

Green isn’t the first member of Congress to bring up impeaching Trump. At least 16 House Democrats have talked about it, and Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) said Wednesday that if the allegations in the Comey memo are true, they are grounds for impeachment. And Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Fla.) said on CNN Tuesday night that the situation described in the memos sounds serious and “could be construed as obstruction of justice,” which has traditionally been an impeachable offense for U.S. presidents.

In the Senate, Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) has floated the idea, and Sen. Angus King (I-Maine), who caucuses with Democrats, said Congress is getting closer to another impeachment process.

“Reluctantly, Wolf, I have to say yes, simply because obstruction of justice is such a serious offense,” King told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday. “And I say it with sadness and reluctance. This is not something that I’ve advocated for. The word has not passed my lips in these tumultuous three or more months.”

DOJ Appoints Special Prosecutor To Investigate Trump Campaign’s Russia Ties

The decision is not a “finding that crimes have been committed,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein stressed.

WASHINGTON ― Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as special prosecutor overseeing the investigation into Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election.

In a statement, Rosenstein stressed that his decision “is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted.” But he said he’d determined “based upon the unique circumstances, the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command.”

In an order dated May 17, Rosenstein wrote that Mueller will conduct an investigation into “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,” along with “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

The White House reportedly found out about the appointment with less than an hour’s notice.

“As I have stated many times, a thorough investigation will confirm what we already know ― there was no collusion between my campaign and any foreign entity,” Trump said in a statement Wednesday. “I look forward to this matter concluding quickly. In the meantime, I will never stop fighting for the people and the issues that matter most to the future of our country.”

As special counsel ― also known as a special prosecutor (the first is the technical term, though the latter was used until laws about the role expired)― Mueller will have all the authority of a U.S. attorney to conduct his investigation. He will also be able to choose members of his team and request a budget from the Justice Department.

If he chooses, Mueller could keep the FBI agents currently working on the Russia investigation. It’s not clear where Mueller will be working from, but the Justice Department said Mueller would step down from his job at the law firm WilmerHale.

Rosenstein said it was necessary to appoint Mueller so the American people will have “full confidence” in the outcome of the investigation.

“Our nation is grounded on the rule of law, and the public must be assured that the government officials administer the law fairly,” Rosenstein said. “Special Counsel Mueller will have all the appropriate resources to conduct a thorough and complete investigation, and I am confident that he will follow the facts, apply the law, and reach a just result.”

Mueller said in a statement Wednesday: “I accept this responsibility and will discharge it to the best of my ability.”

Lawmakers from across the aisle largely applauded the DOJ’s decision as a step in the right direction and welcomed Mueller’s appointment.

“A special counsel is very much needed in this situation and Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein has done the right thing,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

“Mueller is a great selection. Impeccable credentials. Should be widely accepted,” Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said in a tweet.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chairman of the Senate judiciary committee, said he has “a great deal of confidence” in Rosenstein and respects his decision. “Mueller has a strong reputation for independence, and comes with the right credentials for this job,” he added in a statement. “At the end of the day, we need a public accounting of what went on to restore faith in government.”

While House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said in the previous week they believed the appointment of a special prosecutor was unnecessary, both GOP leaders on Wednesday expressed their support for the DOJ’s decision.

“My priority has been to ensure thorough and independent investigations are allowed to follow the facts wherever they may lead,” Ryan said.

The past week’s events are only the latest to fuel questions into whether Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia that have lingered since his November victory.

Reports of contact between national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak first broke in January, shortly before Trump’s inauguration. Flynn and White House officials repeatedly stated that his conversations with Kislyak did not address U.S. sanctions against Russia, which Obama had imposed the previous month as retaliation for hacking the Democratic National Committee over the summer.

By February, Flynn retracted his denials and said he was unsure whether he discussed the sanctions during his conversations with Kislyak. He resigned days later.

The following month, Comey announced that the FBI was investigating whether members of Trump’s campaign had colluded with Russia. Flynn said later that month he was willing to testify in front of the House and Senate intelligence committees carrying out their own investigations in exchange for immunity.

At every turn, Trump has continued to deny any collusion with Russia and accused the media of pushing a phony story. Last Tuesday, he fired FBI Director James Comey. Trump admitted soon after that his decision to fire Comey was related to the director’s investigation of alleged Russia ties.

This Monday, the Washington Post published reports that Trump had disclosed “highly classified information” during a meeting with Russian officials, sparking swift criticism from both sides of the aisle.

The following day, a bombshell New York Times report said Trump had asked Comey, who had been leading the probe into Russia’s possible influence in the election, to end the FBI’s investigation of Flynn.
