Every Malaysian know the current economic situation in Malaysia is getting worse day by day. A fresh graduate in Malaysia can barely earn a total amount of RM 2500 per month, in order to plan forward for our future, we need to come out with a good financial planning.
Recently, a Malaysian lady who named Kelly had posted a shocking daily expenses list on Facebook. She even set an impossible monthly salary standard for Malaysian men to get married!
Let’s check out how Kelly estimated the daily expenses. You will definitely be scratching your head and ask how on earth did she get her Mathematics subject passed or did she even pass, in the first place?
To be frank, you would need RM 65,000 per month to survive in Malaysia if you would like to get married and have a family of three.
Basic Daily Expenses For Family Of Three:
Insurance for 3 persons: RM 6700
Car Installment: RM 6500
Car Petrol: RM 2300
Rental: RM 1900 (rural area)
Water & Electrical Bill: RM 1200
Food Expenses for 3 persons: RM 2700
Mobile Fees: RM 600 (U-Mobile)
Allowance for parents: RM 400
Daily Supplies Expenses: RM 7000 = 4590Balance with RM 440 can be save for educational fees, or annual expenses such as roadtax and Chinese New Year.
If a guy couldn’t earn a total amount of RM 885000, how to get married?
Now, here comes the questions! If she is calculating all the expenses for a family of 3, isn’t she overestimating for almost all the aspects?
function is more than enough for a family of three, and the monthly instalment for Perodua Bezza don’t even need more than RM 800! I would wonder whether she is referring a Lamborghini as the car that she wants her partner to purchase? Then it probably makes sense to have a total amount of RM 2300 per month for petrol fees. How to get a rental of RM 1900 in the rural area if all she needs is just a home? The most unacceptable part is, she is only estimating a total amount of RM 400 as the monthly allowances for her parents, and it has to be shared with her partner. Girl, you are now requesting your partner to have such a high-pay salary but you wouldn’t want to give more for your parents who brought you up without any complaints of your attitude! This is really ridiculous!
Netizens who were angered by her status, posted her photo under the comment section with an indirect offensive comment, saying that “do you think you worth the amount of money?” Hmm… good question for us to ponder!
There are netizens commented that RM 65,000 could be an annual household income but not a monthly income for guys. Some rational netizens straightaway requested Kelly to recommend a job that can offer such high-pay, some netizens commented that even working as a prostitute doesn’t seem to be able to get such a high-pay monthly salary too.
We can’t deny that Malaysian netizens are creative! They commented that if her partner is able to earn that much for a month, why does she want to rent a house instead of buying a house? The funniest part is she edited her status after she read all the backfired comments!
Now she changed some of the expenses amounts!
She edited the insurance, car instalment, car petrol and rental by deleting the ‘zero (0)’ behind the amount. However, she raised the allowances for her parents to RM 2300! Such a filial girl huh!To be frank, you would need RM 65,000 per month to survive in Malaysia if you would like to get married and have a family of three.

But then she still insisted a man should earn at least RM 65,000 per month if they would like to get married, and the bride is not from local but from Vietnam? Seriously I can’t brain her logic, can anyone else who is reading this explain to me?
