Cooking The Books? Saudi Aramco Could Be Overvalued By 500% - Please Malaysia stay away

Hope Malaysia does not get sucked into the IPO the Armaco is going to issue as Oil is no longer a safe commodity to invest with so many alternative energy sources in the markets and more to come. IPO needs trillions of Dollars and Malaysia share maybe in the billions to buy worthless Aramco shares. Why invest in a company which is solely an extension of the Saudi Arabian government and follows government policy and have no business acumen at all. Look at the volatile oil prices in the last 3 to 4 years and jobs lost by the thousands if not millions and improvised oil producing countries all because of Ego to control the oil prices and projection of oil power by OPEC and Saudi Arabia

Read article below of the biggest con game in the history of Mankind after 1MDB
The world’s most valuable oil company, Saudi Aramco, is approaching its first IPO in 2018, as the government of Saudi Arabia prepares to sell off portions of the company in order fill a sovereign wealth fund crucial to the country’s transition away from an oil-based economy.

Saudi Aramco is worth $2 trillion, according to Riyadh, and its five percent initial offering could yield $200 billion. This would be the largest IPO in history, blowing away the offering of China’s Alibaba in 2014.

The problem, however, is that the company itself may not be worth as much as the Saudi government claims. Recent reports and growing skepticism regarding Aramco’s actual worth have cast some doubts on whether the world’s largest IPO will be as earth-shattering as originally thought.
The original estimateoffered by Saudi Arabia, which placed Saudi Aramco’s worth at around $2 trillion, was based on a valuation of Saudi Arabia’s oil proven reserves, 261 billion barrels. Multiplying at $8 per barrel, those reserves alone are worth $2.088 trillion. When Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made that original estimate, it garnered some skepticism: how could any company be worth such an astronomic sum?
Now, analysts at Wood Mackenzie have conducted their own study of Saudi Aramco, and came up with a completely different (and much lower) figure. WoodMac puts Aramco’s true value closer to $400 billion, eighty percent less than the Saudi estimate, and it arrived at the figure by considering future demand and the anticipated average price of oil (on which profits will depend), as well as Saudi Aramco’s status as a state-run company.
WoodMac doesn’t dispute the figure of 261 billion barrels lying under Saudi Arabia and just offshore; that figure has been confirmed by independent sources. Where things get complicated, though, is in the management and taxation of Saudi Aramco, which does not release financial statements. It is known that the company, which is the bedrock of the Saudi economy and the major foundation for state finances, pays a twenty percent royalty on revenues and an 85 percent income tax, supporting the Saudi government and providing a living for the 15,000 members of the Saudi royal family. Tax commitments of that size could have a major impact on the company’s profitability, leaving little in dividends, a factor WoodMac considered in its valuation
There’s also the question of investors demanding discounts for investing in state companies. Bloomberg noted that Saudi Arabia, while a comparatively stable Middle Eastern nation, could encounter the kinds of problems and instabilities plaguing other resource-rich countries with large, state-run energy companies. There are questions surrounding the viability of the country’s long-term economic plan, Vision 2030, which anticipates a major shift in the Saudi economic outlook away from oil and gas and towards greater diversity.
Bloomberg also noted that the Saudi tactic of computing the company’s price according to its held proven reserves doesn’t add up: Russia’s Rosneft, by that accounting, should be worth $272 billion instead of its current value of $64 billion, while the value of ExxonMobil, the world’s most valuable private energy firm, would be fifty-three percent less.
Other commentators who spoke to Bloomberg off the record put the company’s true value somewhere between $500 billion and $1 trillion.
WoodMac has predicted prices in 2017 to remain relatively stable, if OPEC continues to abide by its production agreement, and believes the average price will be as high as $57 per barrel. But looking further ahead, the firm (and other forecasters) are uncertain how electric cars, climate change, technological improvements and changes in demand will affect prices.
This uncertainty also affects the estimates surrounding Aramco’s real worth. Massive Saudi reserves are large enough to sustain current production for another 73 years, so the forecast looks good. But while Riyadh expects peak crude oil demand to come in 2035, other forecasters are much more pessimistic: OPEC has indicated that peak demand could come in as little as a decade, while others are hinting it could come even earlier.
A major facet of the Vision 2030 plan is the surety of future world oil demand: the Saudis must hope that Saudi crude remains attractive and competitive, even as it moves its economy away from relying solely on Aramco’s business. And even if the country sells off its state-run company, Saudi interest and investment will remain closely tied to world oil, as the recent decision to invest $7 billion in an oil processing plant in Malaysia makes plain.
So, even if Saudi Arabia succeeds in selling off Saudi Aramco, perhaps for $2 trillion or perhaps for much, much less, it’s economy and the well-being of its royal family will depend on the world’s demand for oil and gas.

PRU - GE 14 Every Parliment seat counts - 3 opposition MPs in limbo over GE14 pending appeals

Malaysian PRU – GE 14 elections going to be a very close elections and every seats count. The BN have already have a head start hear as they are now at furious speed with no stops at traffic lights to charging and convicting the Opposition MP’s who are the face of PH , by getting them disqualified with the help of the obedient  servants . Cannot use words that will get this blog in trouble. More MP’s will be disqualified and the number should be in the region of 15 to 20 MP’s from this Parliament unable to be candidates in PRU – GE 14 as these candidates from PH the opposition front are sure winner for the seats they will stand as candidates in next general elections.

Play dirty and will play dirty more and more and that is the game plan of BN. More surprises coming from N and the opposition are just like sitting ducks with no able general to marshal the opposition in a counter attack. Only Anwar Ibrahim is capable to lead the opposition counter attach and win the elections and BN knows it too well and that is why he is a guest at bamboo river resort and stay paid by the government

Malaysian GE14 - BN-UMNO in the dog house

PRU – GE 14 elections in Malaysia

BN is at its weakest as the dominant party in BN- UMNO is struggling to rewind and reconnect with the Malay majority in the Malay rural areas. UMNO have given up on the Urban Malays as there are not many Malay majority urban seats to fight for as these seats have been won by the opposition election after election. The other non-Malay Parties in BN namely the MCA, MIC and Gerakan are on their last lap and expect to die of come PRU / GE 14 with a whimper.

UMNO have set their hearts to win the Semi-Urban and rural Malay Majority Parliament seats as these are their salvation and continuation of forming the government and ruling Malaysia. UMNO’s plans are a bit screwed as there is a monkey wrench (PAS) in their grandiose plans to win the elections.
PAS from a party for the Malay have-nots are now more of an extension of UMNO and the majority PAS members are not happy at their leaders for showing off their new found wealth and positions in flashy cars , houses , clothing’s and aloofness. The ordinary PAS members are quiet as they do not vent their displeasure openly but come to the ballot a surprise is in store for PAS and UMNO. They all loved TGNA who was loved and revered by all PAS ordinary members and also the non-Malays. The present leadership on death of TGNA have pushed themselves into UMNO’s orbit and against TGNA wishes.

Amanah / PriBumi / PKR must stand in all seats which PAS is contesting and will win the majority of PAS votes and also the non-Malays votes. PAS candidates will in the majority lose their election deposits. PAS will be from now onwards will be fighting for the same pool of voters UMNO are fighting for who have been voting UMNO election after election.
PH and Pribumi must not accommodate PAS and if they do them it is suicide, the Non-Malays and the progressive Malays and the PAS TGNA supporters will ditch the opposition. AS is not to be trusted and best let the Present PAS leadership commit Zina with UMNO or formally get married to UMNO

Keep an eye for Mahathir as after elections, he may ditch the Non-Malays and regroup the winning Malay candidates from UMNO, PAS, PKR, and Pribumi into a new political grouping at form the government with the help of Sarawak BN and Sabah Warrisan ( Sabah UMNO is dead after PRU – GE 14 ) He is not good in keeping his election promises to the Non-Malays

For the Non-Malays, why get involved in Malay political fight and be like the dog which had a bone in his mouth and drop that in the water when saw its own reflection in water and wanting that imaginary bone too.   Whoever wins is the Malays win and the Non-Malays are not going to get anything that has been always for the Malays like scholarships, government jobs, business opportunity and do not expect the Malays to be generous also.

DAP should watch out and do not get drunk with political power as the voters are masters and will show who is the master. Focus on the State governments and improve the deliveries of basic amenities when we stay like rubbish collection, clean water (in Selangor water supplied is full of sediments as the water filters turn brownish after a day of changing of the filters) Tarred roads, Forming neighborhoods security grouping as gated community is not practical in long run as it is only delaying and running away from the crime problems. The services delivered by local councils are more appreciated by the Non-Malays compared with National issues as these services are colour , religious and race blind. traffic need to get improved 100% as drivers are in a traffic grid lock once they leave their home , Subang Jaya is a good example of traffic mismanagement and also the Federal highway is always like a car park,

UMNO is now a shadow of them and their voters and members are split all the way. The diehard UMNO members who remain are the only ones who still get some financial assistance and UMNO can only take care of so many members only.

UMNO now commands only 55% of the Malay voters who voted BN in the previous elections. PAS have taken 10% of UMNO members and balance 35% now shared by Pribumi and PH. The fixed deposit in Sabah come this election is all lost. Sarawak BN will throw their support to whoever wins the most seats in the GE 14.

UMNO without Sabah BN-UMNO will more likely win 40 to 55 seats only and MCA, MIC, Gerakan a zero. . Need Sabah BN-UMNO to proform well (not likely) for Sarawak BN to support BN. Sarawak BN have an independent streak and will only support who ever gives Sarawak a good deal.

Why is the Malaysian government delaying recognizing the Chinese High schools Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

Why is the Malaysian government delaying recognizing the Chinese High schools Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)? Simple as the government is very afraid that once the UEC is recognized, the students from the National Schools which are taught in Malay and also the Malays especially will folk to the Chinese schools. Despite receiving no government funding’s, the Chinese High school have excelled and the UEC is recognized more than the SPM and STPM which is issued by the Government. The private sector recognizes the UEC more the SPM/ STPM as the Chinese high school education is far more superior the Government runs schools. All boils down to pride and recognizing UEC is a death sentence for the dominant Malay political party UMNO admitting defeat of the Malaysian government schools and inferiority of the syllabus and quality of teachers and the exams

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
The Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) is a standardized test for Chinese independent high school students organized by the UCSCAM since 1975. The UEC is available in three levels: Junior Middle (UEC-JML), Vocational (UEC-V), and Senior Middle (UEC-SML). Examinations for non-language subjects in the UEC-JML (except in Sabah) and UEC-V are in Chinese. In Sabah, UEC-JML science and mathematics are available in Chinese and English. The UEC-SML has examinations for mathematics, sciences (biology, chemistry and physics), book keeping, accounting, and commerce available in Chinese and English, while other non-language subjects are only available in Chinese.
The UEC-SML is recognized as a qualification for entrance into many tertiary educational institutions around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Australia, Canada and many others. It is not recognized by the government of Malaysia for entry into public universities, but most private colleges recognize it.
Because the UEC is not recognized by the Malaysian government, some Chinese independent high schools opt to teach the national secondary school curriculum (in Malay) alongside the independent school curriculum (in Chinese) and require students to sit for the government standardized tests (PMR, SPM or even STPM) as private school candidates, providing the students an opportunity to obtain government-recognized certificates.
Chinese educationalist Dr Kua Kia Soong mentions the introduction of the UEC in his book Protean Saga: The Chinese Schools of Malaysia. According to the book, the introduction of the UEC led to Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the then Minister of Education and later the Prime Minister of Malaysia, summoning the Chinese educationalists to parliament. To quote the book, "The latter (Mahathir) did not mince his words but told the Dong Jiao Zong leaders that UEC had better not be held or else ... He did not ask for any response and dismissed the Chinese educationalists with a curt ... 'that is all'."
In May 2004 the National Accreditation Board (LAN) required students entering local private colleges using any qualification other than the SPM to pass the SPM Malay paper. This drew protests and then the Minister of Higher Education Dr Shafie Salleh exempted UEC students from this requirement.

Being private schools, Chinese independent high schools do not receive funding from the Malaysian government, unlike their national-type cousins. However, in accordance with their aim of providing affordable education to all in the Chinese language, their school fees are substantially lower than those of most other private schools. The schools are kept alive almost exclusively by donations from the public.
There are a total of 60[1] Chinese independent high schools in the country, including 23 from East Malaysia, and they represent a small number of the high schools in Malaysia.

The United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia (UCSCAM, the association of Chinese school teachers and trustees,  also known as the Dong Jiao Zong , coordinates the curriculum used in the schools and organizes the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) standardized test. Despite this, the schools are independent of each other and are free to manage their own affairs.
After Malaysia's independence in 1957, the government instructed all schools to surrender their properties and be assimilated into the National School system. This caused uproar among the Chinese and a compromise was achieved in that the schools would instead become "National Type" schools. Under such a system, the government is only in charge of the school curriculum and teaching personnel while the lands still belonged to the schools. While Chinese primary schools were allowed to retain Chinese as the medium of instruction, Chinese secondary schools are required to change into English-medium schools. Over 60 schools converted to become National Type schools, including famous schools like Chung Ling High School, Penang Chinese Girls' High School on Penang Island, Jit Sin High School, and Ave Maria Convent High School, Sam Tet High School. While the medium language for most subjects is switched to English as according to the proposal, the teaching and learning of Mandarin remained compulsory in these schools, with most of them dedicating at least one seventh to one fifth of their teaching time per week to Mandarin studies.
This plan was still viewed as an unacceptable compromise amongst some Chinese, and a minority of the Chinese schools refused the proposal and became private high schools or Chinese independent high schools as they were later called. This concept slowly gained popularity and, during the 1960s and 70s, many of the National Type high schools reopened their independent high school branch. Their numbers continued to grow until a period when the political situation in Malaysia made it impossible to set up additional independent Chinese high schools. Currently there are 60 independent Chinese high schools in Malaysia, including Foon Yew High School which is the largest secondary school in the country with over 7000 students. Foon Yew High School was the first school to refuse the government's proposal, as well as the first high school to have a branch campus (located in Kulai). The second largest is Chong Hwa Independent High School, Kuala Lumpur, which is known for its excellent academic performance as well as award-winning performance in inter-school competitions.

Students usually spend six years in a Chinese Independent High School. The six years are divided into two stages: three years in junior middle and three years in senior middle, similar to the secondary school systems in mainland China and Taiwan. Students are streamed into tracks like Science or Art/Commerce in the senior middle stage. At the end of each stage, students sit for the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC). A few schools offer an additional year in senior middle, catering to students taking the government's Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM, equivalent to A-level).

The curriculum used in Chinese independent high schools is developed and coordinated by the Curriculum Department of UCSCAM with reference to secondary education curricula around the world, particularly Malaysia's national secondary education curriculum and those of mainland China as well as Taiwan. UCSCAM publishes textbooks for use in Chinese independent high schools.

NEWS[BREAKING NEWS] Parts Of Klang’s Centro Mall Roof Caved In On 62 People Today!!!

Comments – Just tip of iceberg – More will fail and collapse over the years as renegade Developers and builders cut corners to make maximum profits. I would not but a condo or an office in a high rise building. Not in Malaysia as I don’t want to die early. Lack of enforcement and careless attitude by the enforcement agencies

A building block of Klang’s Centro Mall that was under renovation had trapped 62 people in it when parts of the roofing suddenly came crashing down earlier today (Tuesday, March 14).

It was reported that the ceiling piece, measuring 200×100 square feet had fallen down at around 10.45 in the morning. A total of 20 firemen and 3 fire engines (each from Shah Alam, Sungai Pinang and Kota Raja fire stations) were deployed hurriedly to the scene. 5 ambulances were also rushed to the site and a medical base was on standby to treat those that were severely injured.

Thankfully, all the 62 victims were safely evacuated and firemen cleaned up the mess to rule out the possibility of more people caught in it. Tracking dogs were also seen on the site.

Officials and related parties are still investigating the cause of the incident.
