The BN-UNNO government knows for a fact that the civil servants votes are a fixed deposit votes for the ruling party BN-UMNO and the teachers were the original and founder members of UMNO and they spear headed to rise of UMNO and also to maintain UMNO’s grip over the Malays. NAJIB RESORTS TO BULLYING TEACHERS: 5 EDUUCATORS GIVEN ‘SHOW CAUSE’ LETTER FOR TAKING PART IN OPPOSITION EVENTS

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will be issuing show-cause letters to 5 teachers who are actively participating in Opposition activities.

Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid (pix) explained that they are in breach of civil servants’ code of conduct but they will be given the chance to explain themselves.

Mahdzir said the teachers in question hold party posts in the Opposition and have literally taken the stage in their events to criticise the government.

He said teachers have the right to support whomever they want but they are bound by the civil service’s code of conduct.

Mahdzir said teachers have freedom of speech and the right to criticise, including on social media, as long as their statements are not slanderous.
