More updates on the Marang MP’s condition will be released when needed
KUALA LUMPUR: PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has been admitted to the hospital in Kuala Lumpur to receive intensive treatment today.
Abdul Hadi’s political secretary Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said in a statement that more updates on the Marang MP’s condition will be released when needed.
He thanked the public on behalf of the family and the party for giving Hadi space to recuperate by not visiting him at the hospital for the time being.
“PAS invites all members and supporters to pray for his health and that for treatment to go well,” he said.
Meanwhile Hadi’s secretary Zubir Mohd Daik, in a statement, revealed that the PAS chief is scheduled to undergo a heart surgery tomorrow.
Zabir called on all Pas members and supporters to hold a solat hajat (special prayer) for the Marang Member of Parliament.
“I appeal to all Muslims, either Pas supporters or members to hold a solat hajat, to pray for the success of Abdul Hadi Awang’s heart surgery which is scheduled to be performed on May 16, 2017.
“May Allah bless and make the president’s affairs easier,” he said.
Zubir however did not mention where the surgery will take place.
