Please Malaysian Immigration officers, please do not patronize restaurants
which employ foreign cooks and waiters because with all this bad publicity, the
cook who is cooking your food in the restaurant must be spitting his phlegm inside
the food while cooking instead of egg and the waiter also must be spitting in
your food before it is served because of the ill-treatment the foreign workers
legal or illegal are getting from the immigration officers, Heard some have TB
also.
So best stay at home and cook at home

If Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is still the 1st thing that pop up in your mind when you crave fried chicken, perhaps you have never tried KyoChon’s Fried Chicken!
Since opening its first store in 1991, KyoChon has been voted Best Fried Chicken by South Koreans for 13 consecutive years and many accolades later, this brand of fried chicken finally arrived at our shores in 2013 with its first outlet in One Utama Shopping Centre. With numerous outlets in here, this fried chicken has certainly taken Malaysia by storm.
Recently, KyoChon Malaysia announced on their official Facebook page that they are experiencing staff shortage in their outlet in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. According to the Facebook post, the outlet was suddenly raided by the authorities and as a result, their foreign staff were taken out of the restaurant and worse, handcuffed and forced to squat the roadside like they were criminals!
Netizens who saw the post were outraged at the treatment of the workers and offered their support to Kyochon Malaysia. “Hope everything will be okay. Hope they are safe, you’ve got our support.”
They voiced out their concerns that the workers should not be treated like that as they had valid working permits with them. “This is so weird. There’s absolutely no reason for them to be treated as if they did not have authentic paperwork. Where’s the humanity?”
There have been a lot of coverage on the nationwide clampdown on foreign workers in the newspapers and TV of late. Seeing how they are treated I can’t help but to empathize.
It’s clear to see that during these operations, they are rounded up like fugitives and made to squat while being handcuffed, even the pregnant women. It is high time for Malaysians to have change of mindset. Foreigners do deserve to be treated with respect and most importantly be treated humanely. They are not slaves or a second-class community.
The next time you disrespect them, think of how it would feel to be in their shoes!
