The air raid targeted a militia loyal to Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad near the border with Jordan, destroying at least one tank and a bulldozer. Syria condemned the strike as a 'brazen attack' and said it would 'not be intimidated' after the surprise assault while Russia called America's actions 'unacceptable'.
