Whoops!!! Magnets Are A No-No For Your Mobile Phones!!! Here’s Why…

According to what was reported by The Star, your magnetic smartphone holder could most possibly be disrupting your reception!
You know those mobile phones holders that allow you to “clip” on your phones effortlessly – that makes it look like your phone is simply resting over the air cond vent, yea those magnetised ones are “harming” your phones.

A major technical inspection association just claimed that the magnetic field generated by the magnet that is stuck to the phone may interfere with the mobile network.
So, in a way, by you wanting to receive calls without getting much distracted while driving, is actually not doing much good as it kinda ‘blocks’ calls from coming in.
The professionals are recommending to use non-magnetic brackets instead. The ones like this…

But you don’t have to worry though, because magnets do not affect other aspects of a mobile phone, like the battery or any other software. And do take note that it could actually damage bank cards or other cards containing a chip when the mobile is carried in a pocket.

Okay, so my personal review is that after using the magnet holders my GPS ‘readings’ do get a little whacky at times and all this only started after I stuck on the magnet to the back of my phone. Yea…yea…no bashing, please…I know GPS would not be affected because of a magnet, but hey since it’s already somewhat jamming phone calls, might as well just get rid of it, right?
