According to The Star and Berita Harian, the suspects fled in a Honda City after spotting a police car. Following the car chase, the suspects crashed into a tree along the Taman Pauh Jaya at around 12 pm.
The car in which they rode in is believed to have been a stolen vehicle. Unlike what has been posted by a Facebook page, there was no case of shooting involved. This was confirmed by the Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid.
However, it got us wondering the source of this pictures…as it was linked to the same case by the original poster.
A press conference will be held later today while police are still in the midst of investigating the incident. It was reported that the 3 suspects are believed to be involved in the robbery of a supermarket on Monday.
