Parental control failed here and as
we say prevention is better than cure. Why she drove the car because you have
been teaching her to drive. Nothing more to be said and it is your fault not
your daughter’s fault as so live with the guilt that you could have prevented
this tragedy

The father of the car driver hopes the
victim's family will forgive his 16-year-old daughter who rammed into the
motorcyclist.
PETALING JAYA: The father of the
driver who allegedly slammed into a motorcyclist and killed her has asked the
victim’s family for forgiveness.
“It was a grievous mistake. What happened cannot be undone. I
sincerely hope that the victim’s family can forgive my daughter,” said the
59-year-old man from Kuala Nerang who did not want to be named.
He said it would be difficult for the victim’s family, but hoped
that they would forgive his 16-year-old daughter, reported The Star.
The man said he did not know why his daughter drove his car that
day.
“She has not driven the car
before and I really don’t know what made her do it.”
The man said he had met the victim’s family members during her
funeral at the Kampung Musa Muslim burial ground in Padang Terap yesterday.
The victim’s husband said the family was too distraught now and
they needed some time to ease their sadness.
Motorcyclist Lijah Mat Hashim died in the accident which occurred
at Kampung Musa in Kuala Nerang at 5pm on Friday.
Police said the teenager, who drove without a licence, failed to
brake in time and rammed into Lijah’s motorcycle when she came out from a lane
and tried to cross the road.
The girl lost control of her car and landed in a ditch.
