4 Malaysian Juvenile Delinquents Gets Charged For Sexually Assaulting Fellow Inmate With A Deodorant Bottle Into The ‘Private Part’!!!
Yes! Justice is served! Four juvenile delinquents, one aged 19, two 18 and another 17, was charged with sexually assaulting a fellow female inmate, 17, with a deodorant bottle inserting into the private part.
The victim and her attackers were all from the Tunas Bakti School, a rehabilitation facility in Tanjung Kling in Malacca. The bullies claimed trial to the charges under Section 377CA of the Penal Code which carries a maximum jail time of 30 years and whipping.
All of the four that was charged, were seen shaking their heads and simply said that they were not guilty, according to NST. They were constantly crying with their heads lowered as they were being watched by family members who sat behind them.
Deputy public prosecutor Siti Ruvinna Mohd Rawi had requested that the accused to be separated and not to be allowed to be in contact with the victim and witnesses since the bail period would be served in the same facility.
Their defence counsel Andrew Lourdes, however, raised the matter that all four of the accused are from lower income families with many siblings and would not be able to cash out any amount more than RM5,000 for bail.
Since the accused will still only be limited to the confines of the rehabilitation centre, the possibility of them escaping custody would be very thin.
After hearing Andrew’s side of appeal, the bail was lowered to RM15,000 each with one surety and the hearing was set for May 17.
