A Malaysian Man Almost Lost RM100 To A Cashier When Reloading His Touch n’ Go Card At A Toll!!

We have so many dishonest people in the world right now, even some cashiers in toll booths cannot be trusted anymore.
Recently, a netizen from Johor Bahru posted on social media after he was almost cheated out of RM100 while reloading his Touch n’ Go card.
This guy gave the cashier at a toll booth in Bidor, Perak, RM200 and specifically mentioned that he wanted to reload that exact amount into his Touch n’ Go card. When the cashier handed him the receipt, he took a look at it and found something was amiss as the balance after reloading was RM167.92 instead of RM267.92.
He immediately clarified this issue with the cashier, and the cashier only said “Sorry, sorry” and reloaded the remaining RM100.

He said, “If we didn’t check the receipt, then our hard-earned money would have ended up in others’ pocket.”
Apparently, he wasn’t the only one who experienced this, there were other netizens who stepped out after the post went viral sharing what had happened, “The same thing happened to me before. I wanted to reload RM300 but the cashier only reloaded RM200 for me.”

Remember to always check the receipt every time you reload you Touch n’ Go card to avoid being the next victim, share the word to your friends and family!
