Laugh from Commie heaven

Have you noticed that the communist bogeyman, is no longer used to make the rakyat angry and afraid?

Out goes the communist baddies. In come the new baddies, the Americans, in particular the CIA.

Bukit Aman’s spin doctors are watching too many Bollywood movies.
With Najib Abdul Razak jumping into bed with the People’s Republic of China (PRC), it would not be right for the IGP to find Reds under Maria Chin’s bed.

Instead, the police were creative and probably found CIA spy manuals, hidden in the lining of her handbag, her lipstick is probably a two way radio and her compact a secret camera.  The IGP accused Maria of being a CIA operative.

CHIN PENG IN COMMUNIST HEAVEN

Timing is everything in politics. Najib must be sore, that in 2013, Chin Peng died on Malaysia Day, 16 September.

Each time he takes the salute at Malaysia Day celebrations, he is also honouring Chin Peng’s memory, albeit indirectly .

Who would have thought that three years after Chin Peng’s death, Najib would kow tow to Malaysia’s new saviour – Beijing.

So, from his vantage point in communist heaven, Chin Peng is having a good chuckle at Najib and his Umno-Baru lackeys.

BOGEYMAN, THEN AND NOW

Notice that before 31 October 2016, which is when Najib made his seventh state visit to the PRC, every protest led by Bersih, human rights organisations or the Opposition party would be linked to the “communists using these groups to overthrow the gomen.”

Remember how the three ‘Cs’ – Chinese, communists and Christian, have been a useful, catch-all excuse for blame.

These are used to divide the nation; to cause friction between Muslims and non-Muslims, and animosity between Malays and non-Malays. Older Malaysians remember the killings associated with the MCP during WWII and The Emergency.

After the Beijing visit, Najib can no longer use the “communists” as a divisive tool. Why? Najib’s new paramour – the PRC will bail him out of his 1MDB mess, would be displeased.

TIMELINE

The IGP, Khalid Abu Bakar, is a man of many talents. His latest role is as advisor to those who wish to draw cartoons as a profession.

In 2011, Khalid targeted the Parti Socialis Malaysia (PSM) and held six members for one month, without trial. The police claimed they found Che Guevara T-shirts and other communist propaganda material in their luggage. The group, who were on their way to a Bersih 2.0 rally in 2011, were accused of trying to topple the Agong. They were later released.

Then, in 2012, during Bersih 2, former IGP, Hanif Omar, claimed he saw former communist faces in video footage of the crowd and alleged that they were colluding with the Opposition to bring down the government.

Most people his age rarely recognise some of their old friends, but Hanif could clearly spot his old adversaries despite the grainy video clips taken of the Bersih rally.

In 2014, the PRC Navy organised drills on the James Shoal islands off Bintulu, our Chief of the Armed Forces claimed that there was no threat to security.

Oh, the hypocrisy! When the PSM announced that it wanted to hold a crash course on Marxism, all hell broke loose.

The “doesn’t-go-anywhere” monorail in Malacca, which was built by a PRC company, was the pride of the former Malacca chief minister, Ali Rustam, and cost RM22 million to build. It was infamous for its breakdowns, than for completing its 1.6 km journey. Stranded tourists had to be rescued with a cherry-picker. The monoral is more valuable sold as scrap metal.

Despite their fear of communism, why does the government permit the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to invest billions of USD in Malaysia, buy up property, landed and otherwise?

In 2015, the government accepted an invitation by the PRC for our troops to march in a military parade, in Beijing, on 3 September. This was an auspicious event for the PRC to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The rakyat vented their anger, and Putrajaya was forced to decline the invitation.

FEAR NO MORE

The new bogeyman is the CIA.

The communist demon was slain following Najib’s trip to Beijing. Demons became angels.

This is an insult to the memories of the fallen policemen, soldiers and civilians, from Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak.

The hypocritical Najib made scapegoats of Bersih, DAP, and Malaysian-born Chinese, but with  “You help me, I help you“, Putrajaya now bends to the wishes of the PRC politburo, the same regime which backed the MCP in WWII and in the Emergency.
