China Already Building Aircraft Carrier No. 3 (Nuclear Powered) With No. 4 On Drawing Board

While the morons are arguing about raping NINE year olds and then marrying them, or arguing about Zakir Naik, or scratching their butts in Putrajaya the Chinese are launching their 2nd aircraft carrier (the first to be built domestically) in late April (just a few days from now).

The Chinese have also begun construction (since March 2015) of their THIRD home made aircraft carrier, a behemoth of possibly 85,000 tons and nuclear powered as well. 

And they already have a FOURTH aircraft carrier (also 85,000 tons) on the drawing board.

Some experts say their 3rd aircraft carrier is expected to be launched in 2021 - three and a half years from now.  I dont think so. 

The Chinese built their 2nd carrier (65,000 tons) in a record time of under 15 months only.  It will be launched on April 23 - just five days away.

Their 3rd carrier (the Shenyang?) is already under construction in Shanghai since march 2015. 

I think the Chinese will launch the No 3 carrier by next year at the latest.

If it is nuclear powered, then it may take slightly longer to complete sea trials and fully commission carrier No. 3.  Here is some news :

My comments :  Before 2021 the Chinese are going to have at least four aircraft carrier battle groups.  

It takes the Americans 12 years at least to commission an aircraft carrier. The Chinese are doing it in 2 - 3 years.  At this speed the Chinese can match the 10 American aircraft carrier battle groups maybe by 2025.  

The Chinese may not need as many aircraft carriers. They seem focussed on the western Pacific Ocean (including the South China Sea) and the Indian Ocean.  

I really hope the Chinese do not get funny ideas with all this military might.
