between Kedah and Penang with a lot of electronic factories. Times are bad not
with factories closing down and getting relocated to other countries where the
worker force is more trainable , productive and speak English, These retrenched
workers are now left to fend for themselves and what else to do when no
assistance is given by the authorities means they have to find ingenious ways
to feed their families. Stealing is one and begging is another one. Cannot
fault them as they now stealing is against the law but empty stomachs are a bit
too much to handle
Mother And Daughter Crime Duo Caught On CCTV Footage Stealing Watches In Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani!!
Another sad case of parents misleading their children
into thinking stealing is fine as long as you’re not caught. But guess what
lady, you’ll be caught this time!! CCTV footage of the duo stealing 2 watches
was uploaded on a Facebook page by Koo
Tan Bo, the theft was believed to have taken place at about 11 am in
Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani, Kedah on April 4
According to World Of Buzz, the contributor of the footages wrote, “They asked me to shorten the watch straps. While I was doing it, they quietly stole the watches. You’re a woman, don’t you feel ashamed of yourself?”
As a mother, you are to set an example to your child on how to be a generous and kind person. When you teach her how to steal, this poor girl will grow up to steal everything she wants even when she can afford it!
From the video footage, you can see the duo pretending to look at the watches around the stall. The daughter pointed to a white box which the mother picked up to have a closer look when the shop attendants are busy and not looking. She then removed the watch, pass it to her daughter and return the empty box for display.
They moved on to another watch in a pink box and did the same, they placed the box back to avoid detection by the staffs. After the footages went viral, netizens were furious at the mother for leading her daughter astray at such a young age!
When I wanted something when was younger my mom would encourage me to save up for it instead of stealing it, she would always help me out and teach me to be a better person, and when she thought that what I wanted wasn’t necessary, she would explain to me till I understand why I don’t need it. This teaching allowed me to develop a habit of not spending money on unnecessary stuff, always thinking twice or thrice before buying something, and if it’s something you can use for multiple times, then you can probably get it.
Parents play a big role in children’s lives they are role models! you know the saying “monkey see, monkey do” that is exactly what the daughter learned. Her mom was giving her the “it’s okay to steal” attitude.
