TREACHEROUS NAJIB BACKSTABS FOOLISH BN ALLIES: HADI’S HUDUD BILL NO. 1 ON LIST TO BE TABLED – PARLIAMENT IN CONFUSION AS OTHER GOVT BILLS MYSTERIOUSLY WITHDRAWN

So what is happening now? Will MCA MIC Gerakan and the East Malaysian BN parties quit BN; I do not think so as these are spineless parties. BN and PAS together is a good recipe for disaster. I hope the Rakyat rise up and punish both these Parties by making sure their candidates not only lose but lose their election deposits. If the Malays wanted an Islamic country with Sharia as supreme law of the land, they would have already elected PAS instead of UMNO to be the ruling party. I hope PH especially PriBumi and Amanah parties rise up to the occasion and be bold and reject Huduh 355 as this will get them positive political points with the Malay Muslim majority voters who are disgusted that the minority are trying to hijack the harmony of them living in an open and secular society. Malays by nature do not voice out their opinions and go by the poor attendance to Huduh 355 rallies and also all the other UMNO and PAS organize rallies , can safely say 70 to 80% are the silent Malay majority who are going to speak with their votes against Huduh in GE14. BN and PAS in for a very rude shock when election results are announced after the voting for GE 14 is done. PH needs to be very vocal now against RU355 as the majority of the anti-Huduh Malays will be watching how committed are PH to not only opposed Hudud RU355 and on victory roll back religion from the civil service and schools.

The votes are there for PH victory and now have to cast the right net to grab the votes.

TREACHEROUS NAJIB BACKSTABS FOOLISH BN ALLIES: HADI’S HUDUD BILL NO. 1 ON LIST TO BE TABLED – PARLIAMENT IN CONFUSION AS OTHER GOVT BILLS MYSTERIOUSLY WITHDRAWN

KUALA LUMPUR: The Private Member’s Bill by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to strengthen the Syariah courts will be tabled in the Dewan Rakyat Thursday.
It is now listed as No. 1 in the Parliament Order Paper.

There is no government order listed in the orders of the day as the remaining Bills were withdrawn.
Abdul Hadi is likely to table the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act or RUU355 around noon, after the Question and Answer session.
Abdul Hadi’s proposed amendments to Section 2 of RUU355 is to increase the current “imprisonment of more than three years or fine of more than RM5,000, or more than six lashes” to “jail term of more than 30 years or fine more than RM100,000 or 100 lashes as administered in line with the syariah crimes”.
The Dewan Rakyat was supposed to adjourn at 11.30pm on Wednesday night but it was then extended till five more government Bills were debated and passed.
The House adjourned at 4.58am on Thursday.
Last November, Abdul Hadi tabled a “tweaked” motion of his Bill to empower the Syariah courts to impose stiffer penalties but he differed it under Standing Order 15(5).
Last Wednesday, Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced that the Government would not take over the Bill, in line with the spirit of consensus among the component parties.
Najib said it would remain a Private Member’s Bill if it was presented in the Dewan Rakyat, and it would be up to the Speaker to decide based on the Order Paper.
