‘Is PAS veep Mohd Amar relying on forces apart from Allah?’

You were in PAS and were part of the party and system that used God’s name in vain to attract the gullible Malay-Muslim voters to vote for PS and why complain now. Best you can do now is leave PAS and exposed the slick religious salesman’s stagey they use to entice the gullible Malay-Muslims to vote PAS.

‘Is PAS veep Mohd Amar relying on forces apart from Allah?’

Embattled Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar takes on Kelantan deputy menteri besar and PAS vice president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah for claiming that the former is looking for something to rely on
KUALA LUMPUR: Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar expressed shock over Kelantan deputy menteri besar Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah’s statement that claimed that Mahfuz was looking for something to rely on.

“Frankly I am shocked that Mohd Amar with religious background can say that I am looking for something to rely on. As Muslims we all rely on Allah. Is Amar relying on powers aside from Allah?” Mahfuz told Berita Daily.

He said this in response to a news report by Malay daily Sinar Harian which quoted Amar as saying that Mahfuz is looking for a place to rely on in reference to the possibility of Mahfuz joining PAS splinter party, Amanah.

“I actually pity him because he doesn’t know where he is heading and is looking for a place to hang on. I think he is afraid of the allegiance oath (bai’ah). That is why he is afraid of quitting PAS and is waiting to be fired,” Mohd Amar was quoted as saying by the daily.

Amar and Mahfuz have been at loggerheads for quite a while now. Mahfuz wants PAS to rejoin the opposition coalition of Pakatan Harapan.

Amar who is also the party vice president is backing party president Abdul Hadi Awang to go on its own through its own coalition called Gagasan Sejahtera with Ikatan

Mahfuz also added that Amar should be concerned about the possibility of PAS losing Kelantan instead of hitting out at him.

“Amar should be more concerned about developments that will lead to PAS losing Kelantan instead of me.

“He should be looking into ways to convince the growing number of Kelantanese people who are dissatisfied with his and Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yaakob’s leadership.”

PAS has held the east coast state since 1990.

Mahfuz also dismissed the issue of bai’ah that Amar raised.

“The question of bai’ah does not arise. I love PAS. I am on a mission to save PAS members from PAS leaders such as Amar,” he said.
