SINGAPORE: Lady Harassed by Loan Sharks… What Happens Next Will Make You Rage!

Once upon a time, a lady had bought an apartment, and moved in happily. That’s when you thought the happily ever after would be, but… Unfortunately for this lady, she had three official moneylenders come and knock at her door letting her know that she owed them money. However, she told them that she had only just moved in, meaning that whoever they were looking for was no longer living there. They then told her to file a police report and stick it to her main door.

Of course, she went ahead and did it.

Regardless, loan sharks came and started to harass her! This is a case of stubborn already, she’s done her part, what else they want her to do, kan!? They sent a letter asking her to repay the debts, although it wasn’t hers. She once again told them that she wasn’t the person they should be asking to pay the debts.

Worse was when another group came! Like, who wouldn’t feel bad for this lady!? All she wanted was a peaceful life!

On May 4th, she received another letter, this time threatening her,

“Final Warning! Owe money, pay money! Better call me before anything happens!”

With all her bravery and guts, she decided to call and told them that she wasn’t the person they were looking for. He said that she had the right address, but he could not recognise the person. That didn’t help when they weren’t willing to give in for her and instead threatened her by burning a different flat and sending the video to her. He was going to do the same for her if she wasn’t going to pay the debts.

In order to end the case, he demanded $1000 (~RM3084).

You have to praise the lady to have declined that.

That’s one kind of bravery you have to commend.
