An Ipoh woman was arrested for faking her kidnapping to avoid paying her debts. The kidnap case went viral on Saturday after social media reported the so-called kidnapping while she was delivering goods to her customers in Taiping on May 3.
Perak Tengah OCPD Supt Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said investigations revealed that the woman in her 40s faked her kidnapping because she wanted to escape people she owed money to.
Supt Mohamad Zainal said,
“She had sent a picture to her husband claiming that she had been tied up and abducted. She had also sent a voice mail asking for help.
“We found out that she was working at a kindergarten in Shah Alam on Tuesday. She was promptly arrested.”

The husband lodged a police report at the Perak Tengah district police headquarters a day after the “incident”. This, however, wasn’t in the woman’s kidnap plan!
The police are now looking for an individual that goes by the name “Wan” who is believed to be an accomplice.

If the police force has the technology similar to Fast and Furious’ God’s Eye, they’ll find her in seconds the minute she said she was kidnapped! Then a case like this would be solved quickly and no one will dare to ever fake kidnapping anymore!
Please don’t run away from your responsibilities, you dare to loan money, you pay it back! DO NOT ever learn from her example unless you want to be someone who is so irresponsible you’d shame your entire family!
